Environment: Better than expected, with a warm, Instagram-esque decor. The room has a rooftop terrace, which was very comfortable. It's only a 20-30 minute e-bike ride from the southern and northern tourist attractions.
Service: The owner was very attentive and personally picked us up and dropped us off at the hotel.
Amenities: Plenty of hot water, effective air conditioning, and the room comes with disposable bath towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, and face towels.
A great stay! Highly recommended! 😁

GGuest UserThe location is great, and the front desk staff are warm and responsive. There's free freshly ground coffee on the first floor, plus a washing machine and dryer, which is very convenient. There's a bus stop right outside. They even have a shuttle service to and from Fuzhou Station. I had a very satisfying stay here during my trip to Fuzhou, and I'll definitely come back next time.

GGuest UserTraveling by car, there's an underground parking garage, and the hotel service is excellent; the butler was incredibly responsive to all our requests. The hotel has a limited number of rooms, so it's very quiet. It's also close to Sanfang Qixiang. They offer afternoon tea and a sweet soup before bed. Most of the first-floor king rooms have a lovely little courtyard. The second-floor twin rooms have balconies. The only downside was the central heating; it was so hot at night that I couldn't sleep. Even opening the window didn't help, so the butler brought a circulating fan that we kept on all night.

GGuest UserThis Atour hotel was much better than the ones I stayed at in Wuxi and Shanghai over the past two years. Those previous experiences really put me off – finding dead cockroaches, rock-hard beds, uncomfortable pillows, smoky rooms, noisy fridges and AC units, you name it. After that, I actually avoided Atour for all my business trips. This time, I was in a rush with my booking, so I decided to give them another shot, and thankfully, none of those issues I mentioned earlier were present. I'd definitely consider staying here again in the future. Plus, right outside the hotel, there's a great little coffee shop and a restaurant I've been to before. A 10-minute walk also gets you to some local breakfast spots, small eateries, and even teahouses for meetings, which is incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserThe room was absolutely stunning! The moment I opened the door, I knew the ocean view was worth every penny. You can definitely get some amazing photos right from your room. It's clear the owner has a great eye for design. The amenities in the room were also very comprehensive – even a Dyson hairdryer and facial tissues in the bathroom, which shows real attention to detail. We drove here, and parking was super convenient and free. The butler's service attitude was excellent too. And breakfast was quite tasty. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Pingtan!

There are also many dining options nearby, and the seafood restaurant next door, Jihairan, is always packed. The breakfast is quite generous, even offering a simplified version of 'laohua,' which I, as an out-of-towner, found to be a nice touch. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the cleanliness was impeccable. My only minor disappointment was that the outer window was obstructed.

GGuest UserThe hotel is super close to the metro station, which is a huge plus. The private hot spring, however, is located off-site. Thankfully, the hotel provides a shuttle service, and a big shoutout to the friendly Xiao Zhang who drove us back and forth multiple times. The only minor hiccup was finding an old eyelash in the private hot spring tub from a previous guest, but luckily, they provide disposable bath liners.

The rooms are spacious, and the bathroom features a separate wet and dry area, with the shower and toilet also being separate. The front desk staff are wonderful – very friendly, generous, and incredibly welcoming. The hotel breakfast is varied and delicious; we stayed for two days, and the breakfast options were different each day, which was a huge plus! 👍👍👍 There's free parking available, though the camera at the entrance sometimes has trouble recognizing license plates. All the hotel staff are lovely and approachable, I was very satisfied. Bottled water is provided daily, and they're happy to give you extra bottles whenever you need them. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Fuzhou for business or leisure.

AAnh-BaoThe apartment is located inside a modern high rise building (with four elevators) in the middle of what appears to be a middle class neighborhood.
The building is within walking distance (I estimate 10-15 minutes tops) of the Fuzhou-South railway station. However. When me and my friend arrived there we decided to take a cab due to heavy rain - and we got yelled at because the driver was unhappy about the destination being so close to the railway station We yelled back and the driver apologized. We later realized that it would have been smarter to order a DiDi as cab drivers have to wait in line long time to get a railway customer and it is understandable that they want a customer who wants to go to the city center. Still. He had no right to yell at us. This is what the minimum fee is for.
Anyway. It is one of those high rise buildings that is built around a huge mall. Plenty of shops, drug stores, markets, restaurants (outside the mall) are within 5 minute radius. A mall entrance is within 3 minute walking distance. Very very convenient location. Not only so. Every day after 10:00pm there is a night market down the street where you can buy all sorts of delicious snacks even grilled oysters and steak.
Me and my friend had no issue locating the apartment because upon arriving at Fuzhou-South we got in touch with the owner. The owner then befriended me on WeChat, sent us the address, pictures of the entrance, description of how to open the main apartment door and the key lockers. Piece of cake. TBH I initially did not understand how to enter the code into the electronic door lock and so the owner came to assist. She was there within minutes after we asked for help.
The apartment is basically a bedroom with huge screen, beamer, queensize bed, workplace with sink, water cooker, washing machine, dining table and a nice, big fridge. Naturally you also have your own bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. Everything was very clean and me and my friend were super happy with our choice. I initially thought that the mattress was too firm but then I slept very well on it. You have to take a cab or DiDi to the city center but its not far so it is not expensive. The A/C works very well. The view from the 18th floor is amazing.
Would I stay there again? Given the good location, hygiene and price I would absolutely stay there again.
