Guest UserYou guys were incredibly helpful when my child got sick. The food was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful. It's a great place for a family vacation with kids. We even picked some of your vegetables, watermelons, and cantaloupes. When my child got sick, we didn't even need to go to town for medicine because you had all the common medications, which really put our minds at ease. My other child had a blast playing in the downstairs playground. Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back! 😁😁😁
We also visited the T3 tea garden and stir-fried tea, relaxed at the Mount Kala coffee shop, went kayaking, and even ground our own soy milk. There were so many activities, and the kids had a wonderful time! 😁😁😁

1. I truly recommend this hotel! The cleanliness is outstanding, there wasn't a single strange smell in the room, and the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. It made for a very comfortable and stress-free stay.
2. The value for money here is incredible. The location is easy to find and convenient for transport, the room was spacious with great natural light, and the bed was just right – not too hard, not too soft – so I slept really well.
3. My first stay here was absolutely fantastic. It was super clean, well-equipped, and any issues I had were resolved immediately. The service is simply excellent.

Vinson1110During a recent stay with my family at a hotel that had its share of both merits and drawbacks, we found several aspects worthy of note.
The location proved to be quite convenient, situated 15 minutes by car from the nearest train station, 清遠站, and with a variety of popular restaurants and supermarkets merely 10 minutes away. Additionally, it takes around 30 minutes to reach 劍潭站 and 古龍峽, making it an ideal base for exploring the area. The ease of hailing taxis and the availability of food delivery further enhance the overall convenience of this establishment.
The cost of accommodation is particularly appealing, priced at around HKD 170 per room per night for three guests, which is quite economical in the current market. The room itself was neat, tidy, and clean, though I did notice some dirt along the edges of the floor. It would also be wise for guests to bring their own towels, as the amenities provided are basic and do not include a refrigerator, limiting options for storing beverages.
For members of the hotel, a complimentary breakfast is offered for one person; however, it is advisable to manage expectations, as the breakfast selection is rather simple.
On a positive note, the hotel staff were generally friendly and accommodating, displaying a willingness to meet various requests, such as providing extra bottles of water and additional duvets—services that are not commonly found in more budget-oriented establishments.
In conclusion, while the hotel has its drawbacks, particularly regarding room amenities and breakfast options, its strategic location, affordability, and the helpfulness of the staff make it a reasonable choice for families seeking a convenient stay.

An incredible gem of a boutique hotel, run by a friendly host who anticipates and caters to your needs. This hotel is nestled between idyllic hills and farms, and a 20min stroll (or rent their bikes at 60rmb/day) to HuangHua where there’re great restaurants and supermarkets. It was exactly what we did not know we were looking for in a short getaway from HK to Yingde.
The hotel itself is clean and modern, and the food was a pleasant surprise. Being foreigners used to western-style breakfast, we were initially apprehensive while booking, but the farm-to-table, home-cooked breakfast turned out to be absolutely delicious, such that we found ourselves looking forward to it on our second morning.
We felt like we lucked out with this accommodation choice, as just within walking distance from the hotel, the host brought us to local hiking trails with quite the view (tip: go at sunrise, and if conditions are right you’ll get to see the “sea of clouds”), a climbing crag and an amazing cave you’ll have to yourself. The host, who turned out to be quite the explorer and adrenaline junkie in her younger years, happily took us to them, also showing us photo spots along the way.
But perhaps the best kept secret of this hotel is hinted in its name itself. From its roof terrace, we saw shooting stars fly by above the glow of the region’s famous karst.

Guest UserThis stay truly made me feel at home. A huge thank you to Xiaokang at the front desk. Not only did he efficiently handle my check-in, but he also realized it was my first time at Sheraton Lion Lake during our chat. He proactively showed me the hotel map, marked the best spot for sunset views, and pointed out some authentic local eateries nearby. Since it was a weekday and less crowded, he kindly upgraded my room to a lake view. The balcony here is spacious and incredibly relaxing. Next time I'm in Qingyuan, I'll definitely stay here again.

Our two days at T Manor Tent camp were very enjoyable, with lots of peaceful walks through the plantation and some spectacular sunsets seen from our glamping tent and from the viewing area at the top of the hill which looks out over the karst-studded landscape. Our tent was located down below which was less spectacular than the tents on the hill but also less exposed and a good option. We had great service from the T Manor staff, who set up a WeChat thread so my husband could communicate with us easily as most of them didn’t speak English. One exception was Allen, a tour guide from Taiwan who was very friendly and helpful, especially on the last day when he helped organise a car to take us to our next accommodation a few hours drive away. A special mention must also go to the restaurant staff, who served us a range of tea-infused dishes and patiently went along with our many queries (our daughter is coeliac which made eating in China a little complicated). Thank you T Manor for a serene and friendly experience, we particularly loved listening to the sound of the bees pollinating the tea bushes as we eat on the veranda of our tent and looked out over the plantation.

The hotel is quite old, but it's well-maintained, and the room hygiene is acceptable. This family suite is a one-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom setup, with spacious rooms that are pretty good for families. It has two balconies, but since it's on the ground floor, the view is almost completely blocked.
However, I have to complain about the bathroom. Soon after checking in, we noticed a sewage smell. First, the bathroom in the living room started smelling, which made the entire living room stinky. I reported it to the front desk, and they arranged to fix it. Later that night, when we returned, the smell in the living room bathroom was gone, but then the bathroom in the bedroom started emitting an odor. A little while later, the living room bathroom started smelling again.
Overall, I wasn't satisfied with the stay because of the smell. It's likely due to old plumbing in the building. But the staff's attitude was good; they promptly brought water and carpet replenishment when requested at night.
Perhaps because it was the May Day holiday, the breakfast buffet required queuing and entry in shifts. Plus, the food selection was limited, and it was crowded, so the experience wasn't great.

Guest UserThe hotel front desk was very professional. When we checked in, we met Manager QQ Fuhua. Since it was the off-season, I casually asked if we could get a room upgrade or any other special offers. The manager kindly upgraded us to the Madagascar room for free, mentioning that the slide was suitable for older children. I brought my 6.5-year-old boy and 2.5-year-old girl, and they both had an incredibly fun time. The room featured a spiral slide, two 1.1-meter beds, and a 2-meter king-size bed. The bedding was very satisfactory, and we slept comfortably. The small bed in the loft was a bit chilly, but we brought long-sleeved pajamas, so it was acceptable. The air conditioning was strong, which was great. They also gave us some meal vouchers and activity passes, although the hot springs and water park included in our package were already plenty to keep us entertained. We also had lunch at the Chinese restaurant, which was a good experience. The price was reasonable, especially considering we dined within the hotel, which was very convenient. The main highlight was the room itself; the kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave and kept saying they want to come back!

Parking is convenient, and the amenities are comprehensive. The water in the water park is very clean, and there are many facilities for children to enjoy. We will definitely come back again.
