Bangkok Hotels with Private Pools

"The location is quite good, close to the airport. Although it's more basic compared to a four-star hotel in my home country, it was very clean. We checked in almost at 5 AM, and I was hoping to sleep in a bit, but we were woken up by knocking noises, which was pretty annoying."

"The service was great, and the place was very clean. It's conveniently located near Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai's next stop), which is perfect if you're coming back from Pattaya by bus. The closest exit, Exit 1, is right downstairs, but it's stairs-only, which can be a hassle if you have a lot of luggage. Facilities: The bathroom has a three-part separation, and the soundproofing is excellent. You need to use your key card to operate the elevator, which adds a great sense of security. Service: The deposit was 1000 baht, and the staff's attitude was very good. Aside from the slightly inconvenient location, everything else was fantastic. I regret not booking for more days!"

"A family of four stayed for 5 days in a two-bedroom suite, room 310. Pros: The front desk staff and shuttle drivers were all very friendly. The shuttle drivers also doubled as doormen and porters, proactively opening doors for guests. The room was comfortable and clean. The washer-dryer combo was incredibly convenient and used daily. The fridge came with an ice maker, there was a capsule coffee machine, an oven (no microwave, which would have made it perfect), and all necessary pots, pans, and cutlery (no chopsticks). The cleaning lady did a good job with basic cleaning; she even washed the dishes and pans I left in the sink. The kitchen and bathroom were clean. However, even with a daily 100 baht tip and hints, she never folded towel animals, probably due to her age. There were some minor oversights, like the shower caps in both bathrooms running out after the second day and never being replenished – she probably didn't notice, but it wasn't an issue as I washed my hair daily anyway. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop. Within 100 meters, there are two supermarkets, several restaurants and cafes, a hair salon, a beauty and nail salon, and a massage parlor (a bit pricey). The area is lively during the day and quiet at night. Cons: The sofa was already caved in, and the bathtub was unstable, so I skipped using it for fear of danger. The shower water temperature fluctuated. Other tourists mentioned the street outside being very congested and getting a taxi being difficult, but for our family, we usually left in the afternoon, and a ride-hailing app would get us a driver within 10 minutes. The free shuttle bus was on-demand and got us to the BTS in just a few minutes. Overall, it was a good experience."

"I’ve been to Bangkok many times, and this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at so far. The staff are attentive, friendly, and very helpful. I had a small issue at the beginning of my stay, but they solved it quickly and even gave me a free room upgrade. They kindly allowed me early check-in and late check-out, depending on availability. The bed is very comfortable, and I slept very well throughout my stay. The hotel is close to Phrom Phong BTS Station, about an 8-minute walk away (not right at the doorstep). They provide a free hourly shuttle to the station, though I didn’t use it. Traffic in this area can be a bit heavy. There is a Japanese grocery store and a few convenience stores nearby. I would definitely stay here again if I return to this area. Keep up the good job SilQ team!"

"I recently stayed at Shan Villas Sukhumvit in Bangkok, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Although the hotel is located a bit outside the downtown area of Bangkok, it’s still very conveniently situated. The slight distance from the city center is easily managed thanks to their excellent shuttle service, which made getting to the main shopping areas and markets a breeze. Highlights: Exceptional Staff Service: The staff were absolutely fantastic. A special shout-out to the front desk operator who helped me communicate with a local hospital by translating my needs into Thai. Her assistance was invaluable and really showed the level of care the staff provides. Convenient Shuttle Service: The complimentary shuttle bus is a huge plus. It runs about every hour (or when requested) and conveniently takes you into the main shopping and market areas. This saved both time and money, making it easy to explore the city. Overall Experience: In summary, Shan Villas Sukhumvit is a fantastic choice if you’re visiting Bangkok. The slight distance from downtown is more than made up for by the great service and the convenient shuttle. I’d definitely recommend it for a comfortable and stress-free stay."

"The room was very spacious and I felt at home. The back parking lot entrance is closed at night, so you have to enter from the front. I forgot something in the closet, which was completely my fault, but I couldn't find it even after asking around, which was disappointing."

"This is a great place to stay. It's in a lively area but surprisingly quiet, and the service is excellent. The breakfast was good too! Overall, I had a very positive experience and would definitely go back. Plus, if you don't feel like going out, you can just grab a drink downstairs – it's really convenient!"

"We wished we could have stayed here longer! The hotel feels classy, with modern and stylish fittings. There are two pools, with an infinity pool on the roof. It feels a little cramped up there, with a lot of space taken up by the bar which we never saw anyone actually using. It’s a shame there’s not more space for beds! The downstairs pool area is more spacious and by the river, and feels generally better serviced. We went on the free, 6pm ferry sightseeing trip past Wat Arun which was magical, and got dropped off at ICONSIAM which was convenient for dinner. We found that many taxi drivers struggled to find the hotel, which could be frustrating, and nowhere is really walkable from here. But the offer of a ferry shuttle and tuk tuk service during the day is very helpful!"
