Amazing
GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely fantastic, even better than the pictures! The location is excellent – just a 150-meter walk straight from Ratchathewi station. It's very close to the Siam shopping area, and you can easily walk to Central World and Platinum Fashion Mall in about fifteen minutes. The room facilities are all brand new, and the bedding and toiletries are top-notch. Every detail shows care, making for a very comfortable stay. Huge thumbs up! The staff are very welcoming and helped carry our luggage upstairs; their service is thoughtful and attentive. If I had to pick a downside, the bathroom sink is a bit small, but still perfectly functional. Also, the noise from motorbikes on the street outside is unavoidable, but it gets much better after midnight. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Bangkok!

AAnonymous UserThis was my second time booking an all-female dorm, and it was very clean and comfortable. However, that's just the nature of hostels – your experience isn't just about the facilities and service, but also largely depends on your roommates. Unfortunately, on the night of May 4, 2016, in the female dorm, some girls were playing short videos on their phones without headphones. Then, two other Chinese girls excitedly chatted loudly in Mandarin until 11:30 PM. They then proceeded to shower and blow-dry their hair until past midnight. You could hear their showering, chatting, loud laughter, and hair-drying from floors above and below at that late hour. It was truly embarrassing. They clearly have no regard for public etiquette. As a Chinese girl myself, I felt incredibly ashamed and embarrassed by their behavior. In the future, I'll remember to choose hostels that are less frequented by Chinese travelers. It's a real shame.

GGuest Userit was an AWESOME STAY but location is a little hard to find at first. overall place was clean and people were friendly! toilet was CLEAAAAN. there is also a communal hairdryer it works pretty well. at night there is a fish auction i think. therefore, walking to 711 at 3am is pretty safe. personally as there is more people there late at night i feel it is safer. it is located beside the fish market so if you're sensitive to smells it might not be suited for you. there is also an ATM nearby. The BTS and pier is also near the hostel therefore transportation is prettty solid. lots of common areas to do your work! rooms are pretty soundproof as well! i did NOT encounter much mosquitos surprisingly! i had a mosquito bite like 5 times throughout my stay. i did not wear insect repellent at all! able to put your own food in the common fridge. shoe locker is also provided! there is also a locker to put all your stuff. there is luggage space but it is in the common area and the door is easily accessible. please do buy a lock for your luggage bedding is GOOD, mattress is GOOD, pillow can get uncomfortable though, not much neck support. a really good seafood buffet located beside the hostel! overall, i would DEFINITELY COME BACK! loved my stay there. if you're not bothered by fish smells this is probably the place for you!

GGuest UserThis is a youth hostel, and we were traveling with our parents. Although there wasn't a kettle in the room, there's one on the first floor where you can get hot water for free. There's also a security gate on each floor, which makes it very safe – people who aren't staying here can't go up. There's no elevator, but the staff were really enthusiastic and helped us carry our luggage upstairs, which we really appreciated! The family room had an inner window, so ventilation wasn't great, but it was nice and quiet. The overall decor is very new and the style is simple. The common areas are quite well-equipped, with a kitchen, laundry room, dining area, tea tables and chairs, and computers. The front desk offers 24-hour service. There's a 400 deposit, which the staff returns after checking the room at checkout.

TTin MacandogThe room was decent and in a very convenient location. It’s about a 6-minute walk to BTS Phaya Thai, and there’s a shortcut we used every day. It’s also just a 5-minute walk to the Pratunam area, plus there are two nearby 7-Eleven stores, which was very convenient. The room itself was okay but quite old. I appreciated that they provided free coffee and bread. The daily cleaning service was great, and they consistently refilled the water bottles. I also really enjoyed the bathtub. The staff were friendly, and we even became good friends with one of the hotel guard, who was Vietnamese. However, there were some issues. One night, I saw a random man go up to the 5th floor where we were staying. I went down to the reception to report an issue with the bedsheet, and my husband stayed in the room. Since I was only going down briefly, I didn’t fully close the door. When I came back, my husband was shaken because that same man tried to open our door. He seemed to think I was alone. When he saw my husband, he quickly said “excuse me, sorry” and left. I do not know if he was staying at the same floor with us. We suspect he may have been trying to steal something, assuming the room was empty. Thankfully, nothing happened, but it was a very creepy experience. I did not report it becausw I do not want to make it a big issue, but be sure to lock your door before going to sleep Because the hotel is quite old, the overall atmosphere felt a bit unsettling at times. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you’re traveling alone. Also, some of the pillows and bedsheets provided by housekeeping had stains. On a positive note, we weren’t charged the 500 THB penalty, which was a relief. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the safety concerns made it less enjoyable.

NNan19The accommodation was clean. It wasn't hard for us to find because there's a Tiger Laundry shop downstairs 🐯. Inside, there's a separate door for the accommodation with shoe storage. Check-in was convenient for introverts. There are tons of food options around, but the alley is very narrow and difficult to walk through. There was a bit of noise disturbance from the street in the alley. Drinking water, shampoo, and conditioner were all provided, and they were good quality organic brands. The air conditioning was cool and comfortable. The bed wasn't super soft but it was clean. It really depends on luck whether you get polite roommates. On the day I stayed, someone stayed up late and was quite noisy, which woke me up a bit. I didn't get a completely restful sleep. There are two toilets and two showers (on the accommodation floor), and it seems they aren't separated by gender.

SSharon MyBWe stayed at J Two S Pratunam as a couple and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering good value for money. The location is very convenient—close to Pratunam Market, shopping areas, and public transport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A nice, affordable choice for couples looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of Bangkok.

RRovaheMerry V Guesthouse is located in the 'extension' street of Khao San Road. Good location. It's very, very basic. Just a small room with a bed. The bed is hard and the pillow was very hard. When I requested at the reception to provide me a softer pillow, it was refused. In the room there are many big open windows (there is no glass, just mosquito gaze) on the upper part, which are not covered by curtains (see photo) and light/might disturb you. The Thai ******* in the next room was inconsiderate and unrespectful. Talking as lot and music from mobile. It's not the hotel's fault, because the put signs everywhere 'don't make noise, others are sleeping'. But it was overall OK. A private room for a small amount of money. Thanks! 🙏

GGuest UserOverall Experience: This hotel is a decent option, especially if you want to escape the city's hustle and bustle. The rooftop room I booked was incredibly spacious and cozy, perfect for a relaxing night even when it rained. The location is a bit tricky, with no parking and a narrow alleyway leading to the entrance, but it's worth it for the peace and quiet. The highlight was definitely the rooftop room. It felt so open and comfortable. However, the open-air bathroom might not be for everyone, especially if you're shy. For me, it was completely fine. Just be aware there’s no elevator, and if you’re on the 6th floor like I was, be ready for a bit of a climb! Bringing snacks and drinks up with you is a good idea to avoid going up and down too often. The view from the top floor room was absolutely amazing. It was a great reward after the climb. haha! P.s..I’d recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a unique and quiet experience and doesn't mind a bit of a workout to get to their room. The view and the rooftop room are fantastic. :)

GGuest UserOne of the cheapest places I stay in Bangkok, worth this price I guess. Around 9 this morning, someone who wasn’t staying in this room came inside the room opened the window to grab their clothes that were drying. When she opened it, my cap got blown outside. Thankfully it was brought back, but it still felt like everyone can come inside anytime……
