"Honestly, before I booked, I called to confirm if I could get a room with a view of the old town. The staff member said they'd reserve it for me if I placed the order. I didn't ask for their name, and when I arrived at the hotel, they denied it, giving me a room overlooking a rundown backyard instead. The receptionist, however, was very helpful and later arranged for me to go to a guesthouse to see the night view for free, which was wonderful. When I checked in, I mentioned I'd be leaving very early and asked if they could prepare a breakfast pack for me. She said yes, but when I checked out at past 5 AM the next day, she was sound asleep at the front desk. Forget the breakfast pack; it wasn't prepared at all. It was the security guard, a young woman, who told me to just leave my room card there. As I spoke to her, the receptionist was still sleeping soundly – probably exhausted. I didn't want to disturb her, so I just left. Also, the air conditioning was very slow to cool and not very powerful. So, I guess the price mainly covers the fancy lobby decor; I didn't feel anything special otherwise."

"eLong Ruiyun Hotel is well-located, directly opposite the old city and next to the mosque, with convenient shopping and dining nearby. The rooms are compact, with simple yet practical furniture, bright lighting, and strong shower pressure. However, the hotel lobby is on a mezzanine level, requiring guests to use stairs, which can be inconvenient for those with large luggage. The room's internet was not working, and despite reporting it, it wasn't fixed during our two-day stay. Additionally, there were oversights in room cleaning and facility maintenance checks."

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, in particular 小艾 who helped us on check in and was very attentive to our needs through the stay. The beauty at the front desk saw that we took the children and took the initiative to upgrade the room type. This hotel room is much larger than other hotel rooms. The bed is very comfortable.
