"Nice Hotel, But a Very Distressing Experience The hotel is beautiful, and the front desk staff and manager were friendly, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, our experience was overshadowed when we discovered that my wife’s personal belonging was stolen when housekeeping was making up our room. This left us feeling extremely violated and vulnerable. We then decided to shorten our trip and ended it the very next day. I have travelled extensively since 2020 and stayed at many hotels, from well-known international brands to smaller independent properties across South America, Europe, and Asia. This is the first time I have ever had a personal belonging stolen my hotel room. It is a real disappointment, especially because the hotel and its staff have many positive qualities. Unfortunately, this incident has overshadowed what could otherwise have been a pleasant trip."

"Location was excellent as it was walking distance to the night market. Plenty of shops and eateries around the area, but can be a bit noisy with the activities downstairs. Most important, this hotel has a lift, so easy for guest with luggage to haul. Rooms without air-condition, comes with a stand fan but bearable as the weather in Feb is cooling. Overall, an excellent stay. View from the balcony of the room."

"The hotel service was truly excellent; the staff, especially the ladies, were all very kind and friendly, making me feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy, and there were many food options nearby, making dining very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Nanjing. I genuinely recommend staying here."

"I love it. We had a chance to upgrade our room to premier (although only on the third day, but still, it was a great deal). Good breakfast, and normally it is a buffet, but if there are too few guests, is it a la carte. It is the best hotel around (we've checked a few nearby, and they are much worse (conditions of the rooms, beddings, etc) Sometimes it was very difficult to communicate with some of the staff, even with a translator, and it feels like I was talking to the alien, so be patient))"

"We stayed for 2 nights. It's clear the hotel was once very luxurious when it was built, but unfortunately, it's rapidly falling into disrepair and its condition isn't being maintained. We had a suite with a lake view. The room was large and nice, with a big wardrobe and even an electric fireplace. However, due to humidity, the furniture was swollen, the room was damp, and the toilet smelled of sewage. The cleaning quality was poor. Breakfast was average, there wasn't even a coffee machine. We paid extra for a boat ride, which we enjoyed – it was meditative and atmospheric. We also visited the hotel's mini-zoo. We felt really sorry for the animals – skinny camels, goats crammed in large numbers into a small enclosure, and ostriches with plucked wings. One of the ostriches was carrying a girl on its back; it clearly didn't like it and was very agitated, eventually throwing her off backward at speed, right into a fence. The animals' condition was very sad. The grounds are pleasant, with lots of greenery. There's construction on the opposite bank, apparently a new hotel, with many cabins under scaffolding. This, unfortunately, spoils the whole view. The attitude towards guests was excellent. Twice, a staff member came to help me, once to catch a grasshopper and another time a huge spider in the room. They respond to every request and try their best to help with everything. Overall, we liked everything, except for the dirt, dampness, and an endless number of insects in the room."

"This orange-colored guesthouse is tucked away on a steep, uphill road, making it very quiet and peaceful, far from the main thoroughfare. I chose an attic room with a small window. There's no air conditioning, but it wasn't needed at all as the evenings in the mountains were quite cool. There's a lovely coffee shop right outside. Most importantly, the pure cotton bedding was incredibly soft and comfortable to lie on! I slept wonderfully. The host was very kind and tried hard to communicate with me about my itinerary, offering help and suggestions."

"The location is great, right next to Xuan Huong Lake, so it feels like nowhere is too far away. Da Lat is relatively small, so taxis are easy to get around. The hotel's public facilities are also okay. The downside is that for this price—around 250 RMB per night, which is quite expensive in Da Lat—the soundproofing in the hotel room is terrible. It's practically non-soundproof. Around 9 PM, people started checking out, and the cleaning noises were completely audible. The first night, the TV next door was also very loud; they were watching a game. The bedding and room size are okay. The room isn't very big; it's about right for one person, but a bit cramped for two. My room type was clean and tidy, and the facilities were relatively new, so I'd still give it an overall 3.5 stars."

"I stayed for 3 nights from Jan 21st to 24th. On the day I checked in, I thought I had lost 700,000 Vietnamese Dong somewhere between Ho Chi Minh City and the hotel, and had completely forgotten about it. However, later the reception desk handed me an envelope containing 700,000 Dong, saying it was money I had dropped during check-in. Thanks to them, I was able to use it for my travel expenses, which was great. Thank you!"
