We stayed for two nights primarily to catch the drone show and fireworks. The weather was perfect, and the river view was incredibly relaxing. The room had all the amenities you'd expect, and the capsule coffee machine was a nice touch. We appreciated that the bed and sofa could be moved around to suit our needs, and the mattress was just right for our comfort preferences. The hotel front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, especially a young man with thick hair who gave us a detailed overview and assisted us with a safety concern for our child's sleeping arrangements. Of course, the most satisfying part was achieving our main goal for the trip – we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. However, it seemed like a lot of people who weren't staying at the hotel also came to watch, which made it a bit chaotic. Breakfast was just okay. The staff in the dining area were overwhelmed, and the young woman preparing noodles could use a bit more training. We also had dinner at the hotel, and encountered similar issues: it got quite chaotic when it was busy. I've already recommended it to friends because its strengths are really prominent. That said, the drawbacks are also quite noticeable, but thankfully, the service-related improvements are definitely fixable with a bit of effort.

I was really impressed with this hotel! I initially thought missing out on some travel plans would be a shame, but this hotel made me never want to leave. The room was spacious and very clean, with a separate wet/dry bathroom and a bathtub. We got caught in a typhoon, so we extended our stay for another two nights, and the views were absolutely stunning! It didn't dampen our travel spirits at all. Breakfast was fantastic! It leaned more Western, but the Chinese dishes were also exceptionally well-made – it was the most satisfying hotel breakfast I've ever had! The hotel's underground parking is connected to a shopping mall, which is even closer than walking on the street, perfect for typhoon weather. The mall also offers convenient dining and entertainment options. Getting to the port was easy, as the hotel helped us book a Didi (ride-sharing service).

The hotel's location is excellent, making getting around super convenient. It's quite close to Line 3's Baoyang Road Station, and right next to Baoyang Baolong Plaza, which offers plenty of dining and entertainment options. Plus, there's a Gokurakuyu spa right across the street for some relaxation.

I carefully picked this hotel for its cleanliness and great service, specifically because I was visiting the Ninth People's Hospital North Campus. My actual stay exceeded all expectations, offering incredible value for money. The hotel also has parking, which was super convenient for going back and forth to the hospital without worrying about finding a spot. The breakfast was delicious too, with a good mix of grains, fine foods, and both meat and vegetarian options. Milk, coffee, toast, and an egg – a perfectly nutritious breakfast for me! I booked this hotel for a one-night staycation to escape the summer heat. There were definitely some positives. Check-in was quick and easy, the complimentary minibar soft drinks and water were appreciated, the bathroom was decent, and the room itself was clean enough with a large, comfortable bed. The toothbrush kit was nice, along with many disposable extras. Comfortable robes, though not internationally sized. The hotel also delivered my food directly to my room, which was convenient. At under 300 RMB for the night, it was inexpensive, and in many ways, you get what you pay for. After reading that many guests had received room upgrades, I was hopeful, especially since the hotel seemed almost empty. I wasn’t offered one, which is perfectly fine, but I wouldn’t recommend expecting an upgrade. Unfortunately, there were several disappointments. After arriving on a 36°C day, I found the window open, apparently to air out cigarette smoke (smoke was prevalent when walking down the halls) and the air conditioning was turned off. Since I had booked more than 24 hours in advance, I expected the room to be cooled before my arrival, as that’s been standard at most hotels I’ve stayed at in this part of the world during the summer. The lack of a view wasn’t a big issue, but the main reason I booked this hotel was the bathtub. I was happy to see a disposable tub liner provided, but then noticed there was still water left in the tub from a previous guest. That really spoiled the experience. I was planning to take a shower instead, but after noticing mold in the shower and the absence of disposable shower slippers, I decided against it. I paid an extra 10 RMB for English movie channels, which ended up being one of the better parts of the stay since I kept the TV on for most of the evening. Unfortunately, getting any sleep was difficult because of noise from other guests and the air conditioning. I didn’t fall asleep until around 5:00 a.m., causing me to miss the breakfast service, which ran from 7:00 to 10:00. Since I had gone to bed so late, I hoped to sleep until checkout, but the housekeeping staff were talking loudly in the hallway early in the morning. The soundproofing is very poor, especially for noise coming from outside the room. Sleep was also missed due to the “screen” doors in lieu of actual bathroom doors that allowed light to come through from the bathroom. Overall, this wasn’t the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, and for the price there are some things to appreciate. However, the slight cleanliness issues, noise, and lack of attention to guest comfort mean I won’t be staying here again.

Traveling to Shanghai for a cruise, I chose this hotel as a transit stop. The location is excellent, right next to the Sea World mall, making dining very convenient. Plus, the cruise shuttle bus departs from Gate 1 of Sea World, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel entrance. Before arriving, I couldn't book a river view family room online, but when I got to the front desk, they had one available. I immediately canceled my existing booking and rebooked it. The river view family room has a king-sized bed and a bunk bed, comfortably sleeping four people, which was quite a good deal. In the hotel lobby, there were various board games, and my child even played Chinese chess. They also have a robot delivery service, though there's no washing machine. Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains, you can see the cruise terminal – the view is fantastic.

The hotel's exterior looks like a castle, located behind the Jile Tang hot spring in Baoshan. The lobby is grand and very European in style, with high ceilings that make the rooms feel spacious and not at all cramped. The mattress was just right, not too soft or too firm, and I slept very comfortably. The front desk kindly upgraded me to an executive king room free of charge, which was a lovely touch. The only downside is that some of the hotel's switches and facilities are a bit dated. There are no USB plugs, and the light switches are old-fashioned. Also, one side of the shower curtain in the bathroom couldn't be pulled across, which was a minor inconvenience. Apart from that, everything else was excellent, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

The environment is decent, but the soundproofing is poor. I accidentally left my own clothes hanger in the room when checking out. When I called back, the front desk's attitude was terrible. The first time, the front desk said they would ask the cleaning staff for me, then called back saying, ”The cleaning staff didn't see it when they tidied up.” I explained that my hanger was with the hotel's hangers, so the cleaning staff might not have noticed, and asked if they could check again when the current guests check out and the room is cleaned. The front desk scoffed at me, saying, ”Ma'am, we already asked and it's not there.” So? Did they not understand what I meant? Furthermore, even with my phone on maximum speaker volume, the front desk's voice was still very low, which was already exhausting to listen to, but that sneer was quite loud. I haven't received any follow-up today either. They really need to train their service staff better. I honestly wanted to yell at them over the phone.

The hotel was clean and tidy, with excellent front desk service. Its location is great, close to the cruise terminal, and the staff were attentive. The environment is pleasant, and it's convenient for getting around with Metro Line 3 nearby. The beds were comfortable, and the room was spotless. The service was very thorough, and the facilities were well-equipped. I'll definitely stay here again next time! It's really good, and the transportation is quite convenient. The hotel also offers laundry service.
