EEmilylovesfoodEverything about the hotel was quite reasonable. Although the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, the ingredients were good quality and it tasted nice. However, the service could be improved. We arrived around 7 AM to check-in and drop off our luggage. When we returned to the hotel at 2 PM, the front desk told us we'd have to wait until 3 PM. So, I told them we'd be sitting on the sofa nearby and to let us know when our room was ready. Between 2:30 PM and 3 PM, they continued to check in other guests. After 3 PM, since no one had informed me, I assumed the room wasn't ready. It wasn't until around 3:20 PM, when I went to the front desk to ask, that I discovered the room had been ready for a while, but they simply hadn't told me. The waiting area sofa was less than two meters directly in front of the front desk, and they had been aware of our presence the entire time but never notified us.

GGuest UserThis Aria in Budapest has been in my mind for many years. It is in a very good location in the city center. You can reach many attractions on foot. The hotel has its own style, elegant environment and good service. It is worth staying.

GGuest UserBefore my trip, I spent ages looking for accommodation in Budapest, constantly debating whether to stay in Buda or Pest. I finally decided on the Marriott in the Pest district, and it truly was the perfect choice! ✔️✔️✔️ 🤩 Most of the main tourist attractions are in the Pest area. From the Marriott, it's super close to St. Stephen's Basilica, the Parliament Building, Liberty Bridge, and the Central Market. You can actually walk to most of them, but if you're feeling tired, you can buy a 24-hour travel pass. (A quick heads-up: I tried to buy a 24-hour group pass but found out after confirming multiple times that they only offer single passes now). Usually, it's just a two-stop ride, which saves a lot of energy! 🤩 August, the height of summer, was incredibly hot! After visiting an attraction or two, the heat would become unbearable. It was great to be able to pop back to the hotel to rest and cool down whenever needed 😊 🤩 We were incredibly lucky! Our flight landed in Budapest at 6 AM that day, and we reached the hotel just after 7 AM. I had planned to try my luck asking for an early check-in. The gentleman at the front desk was very humorous, saying, 'Our usual check-in time is 3 PM, so arriving at 7 AM is a 'super early check-in'!' Nevertheless, he managed to find us an available room, and we were settled in before 8 AM, which allowed us to freshen up immediately. After exploring for a bit in the morning, having lunch, and then a good two-hour nap, we were re-energized and ready to head out again around 3 PM 😊 🤩 The Marriott is incredibly well-located! It's a mere 3-minute walk to the famous 'Comme Chez Soi' restaurant, 5 minutes to Red Pepper, and 5 minutes to Boat Dock 10. The M2 metro station is just a 2-minute walk away. We also stumbled upon VigVarju Restaurant, which is only 2 minutes on foot (it has a great ambiance, delicious food, is more affordable than the popular/trendy spots, and doesn't require a reservation – highly recommend!). Everything is essentially within a five-minute walk, making it incredibly convenient ✌ 🌹🌹🌹 Because the gentleman (at the front desk) allowed me such an early check-in, I promised him I'd write a 'super good comment'🤩. Seriously, you definitely won't regret staying here! 😁

GGuest UserThe hotel provides water dispensers with fresh drinking water available daily, which is very convenient and contributes positively to overall comfort. In addition, fresh juices are offered, providing a pleasant and refreshing option throughout the day. It is also worth highlighting that there is a selection of desserts available without added sugar, which is a thoughtful and health-conscious offering. Furthermore, the bus stop is very easily accessible on foot and offers quick and convenient connections to the city center, making it simple to explore the area without the need for a car.

FfengyiqiThe hotel is located in the city center. There are shops around. You can walk to the attractions. After all, Budapest has many attractions. Service: Overall, I am very satisfied. Every staff member will ask if you need help and take the initiative to help with the luggage. The plane arrived at the hotel at about 10:30 in the morning. I waited for more than 10 minutes before the room was given to me. You must also choose breakfast. There are not many types of breakfast, but they are very delicate. Every dish is very good. There are single dishes and buffets. Breakfast is in the hotel’s own Michelin restaurant on the first floor. Talk about the shortcomings: I booked a Matilda Suite, but I was given the most basic king-size bed room? ? ? I didn’t react until the third day of my stay, so I didn’t negotiate with the hotel. The hotel is not large, but the facilities are very new. The sanitation is still quite satisfactory. Some places that are not easy to see need to be cleaned! Overall, it is still recommended!

GGuest UserWe were quite disappointed with certain aspects of our stay. The towels had stains, there was hair in the tub, and the housekeeping room—located right next to ours—was left open most of the time, which affected the overall experience. For the price paid, we expected better. In addition, the concierge offered little in terms of sightseeing suggestions beyond a €300 tour, which wasn’t very helpful. That said, one of the highlights of our Budapest trip was the hotel’s Service Excellence Manager, Tamas, who gave us a comprehensive tour of the property. His warmth and hospitality stood out and truly elevated our stay.

GGuest UserIt is a smaller hotel, so you may have to wait a long time for the only receptionist to handle a phone call or other matter, and so ... like me ... you will just stand at the reception for over ten minutes. The rooms are standard and there is nothing to complain about. The beds are soft, which I personally do not like, but that is a matter of personal preference. Breakfast is probably standard for the country.

GGuest UserThe hotel is brand new with excellent facilities; it was definitely the most comfortable two nights we had during our entire trip to Europe. The location is perfect, right across from the opera house, and there's an M1 metro station right outside, making it super easy to connect to all kinds of public transportation. The reception staff were very friendly; we had a nice long chat during check-in. All in all, highly recommended.

ZZhangxiaojiailvxingI have stayed in this hotel many times. The room type, facilities, hygiene and other related hard conditions are good. You can refer to the previous comments, but the overall service is rigid. Due to the change of itinerary, I applied to check out one day in advance, but it was rejected. As a consumer who has stayed in their hotel many times in a year, I will not stay there again.
