"Pros: Location (8-10 min drive to the airport), near warungs and convenience stores, 10-15 walk to Kuta Beach. Staff were lovely, easy check in and check out process. Cons: Limited amenities (but for the price we paid - I can’t really complain). The sheets had some stains. As a 1 day stay to have easy access to airport, its a good hotel."

"I booked a deluxe room as it has bigger bed. I was told both deluxe rooms have balcony, but it is facing a road not the pool. Doors are not sound sealed and it is very noisy, and I couldn't get sleep Clean hotel but take no breakfast option as choices are very limited. Also very particular about check in out timings be aware of it . GwK is walkable but not close. As there is lots of building work and road works, very noisy and roads are not proper."

Hotel near Kuta,Bali
The Mega Boutique Hotel & Spa Bali is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Bali will find that the Mega Boutique Hotel & Spa Bali is a fantastic accommodation choice. Ngurah Rai International Airport is located approximately 6km away from this hotel. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Barong Tanah Kilap - Sari Wisata Budaya BALI, Kuta Beach and Patung Dewa Ruci all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Bali hotel provides parking on site. For guests traveling as a couple, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"The staff at Mega Boutique Hotel & Spa are excellent — always friendly, attentive, and willing to help. Unfortunately, the overall experience was affected by a few issues. The room had a damp smell, and the cleanliness was below expectations. In addition, the constant noise from cars throughout the night made it hard to rest. With improvements in maintenance, cleanliness, and soundproofing, this could be a much more pleasant stay"

"Ah, ”Eden Hotel” in Bali! It seems you're likely referring to one of the Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, specifically Grandmas Plus Hotel Seminyak or Grandmas Plus Hotel Airport. They are popular budget-friendly options in Bali. To give you a good review, I can summarize what people generally say about them, but if you stayed at a specific Grandmas Plus Hotel, let me know which one (e.g., Seminyak, Airport, Legian), and I can tailor the review even more. Here's a general overview of what people often say about Grandmas Plus Hotels in Bali, combining common feedback: Grandmas Plus Hotels, Bali (General Review) Overall Impression: Generally, Grandmas Plus Hotels are well-regarded as excellent value-for-money options, especially for budget travelers, solo travelers, and those looking for a convenient location. They often receive high ratings for their service and cleanliness. What people like most: * Excellent Location: This is a consistent highlight. * Seminyak: Very close to Seminyak Beach (often cited as a 5-minute walk) and within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars. This makes it ideal for those wanting to explore the vibrant Seminyak area. * Airport: Convenient for early flights or quick stopovers due to its proximity to the airport. * Friendly and Helpful Staff: Many guests praise the staff for being amicable, attentive, and going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. They often mention the staff's smiles and willingness to help. * Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas are consistently described as sparkling clean and well-maintained. * Value for Money: Guests frequently mention that the price paid for the amenities and location is a great deal. * Breakfast: Often receives positive remarks for being good, and sometimes even offering a ”different gourmet food selection” daily. * Amenities: While generally basic, they offer essential amenities. Some locations have a pool, and many have a connected restaurant/bar. In-house spas are also mentioned as a plus. * Comfort Rooms (after checkout): Some hotels in the chain offer a ”comfort room” which is a nice touch for guests with later flights. What people like least (or areas for improvement): * Room Size: A very common comment is that the rooms can be ”compact,” ”small,” or ”cramped,” especially for families. While well-designed and clean, they might feel a bit tight for some. * Noise: Depending on the room location, street noise, music, or bar noises can be audible, especially in Seminyak, which is a lively area. * Bathroom Ventilation/Issues: Some reviews mention a lack of exhaust fans in bathrooms, or occasional issues like drainage smells or spots on tiles. * Pool Size/Quality: For the Seminyak location, the pool is sometimes described as ”tiny” or ”very poor” and can get crowded. * Limited Amenities: While good for the price, some guests might miss certain features like mini-fridges or electric kettles in the rooms (though free mineral water is usually provided). Would I recommend this hotel? Based on common reviews, yes, I would recommend Grandmas Plus Hotels, especially if you are: * A budget-conscious traveler. * Looking for a hotel with an excellent, central location (Seminyak) or close to the airport. * Prioritizing friendly service and cleanliness over spacious rooms or extensive luxury amenities. * Traveling solo or as a couple (larger groups or families might find rooms a bit small). They are often described as a great base for exploring Bali, offering a comfortable and practical stay without a hefty price tag."

MM11062****This Bali-style hotel is located within the luxurious Nusa Dua resort complex, which requires a security check upon entry. While this ensures high safety, there aren't many convenience stores or restaurants within the complex itself, though you can order food delivery via Grab. The hotel is quite large, featuring two or three pools, perfect for children. Our room, on the second floor, had a musty smell and felt a bit damp. The beach is spacious and very clean, as is the ocean water. The staff here are very warm and attentive. Compared to a Thai smile, a Balinese smile feels more genuine~ However, dining prices are generally higher than in Thailand, and many facilities aren't particularly convenient for mainland Chinese visitors, often requiring cash everywhere. The drive to the airport is about 30 minutes, but traffic can be very heavy. Overall, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay, it's a great choice.

GGuest UserOn the first day we arrived at the hotel, our child went into the swimming pool and cut his foot. The hotel called a doctor, who dressed the wound and prescribed antibiotics. However, due to the hotel’s negligence, we had to spend the first week taking care of our child and were unable to even leave the hotel, which caused us significant inconvenience and loss. Although it is a five-star hotel, there were no bathrobes in the room, and no iron or weighing scale available. On the positive side, the staff and housekeeping were very good and friendly.

GGuest UserThe Hilton Resort Bali is quite simply heaven. There is nothing the staff cant and won't do for guests, and their service attitude is outstanding. The resort itself has many different sides, quiet beach areas, family areas, poolside bars, so no matter what kind of person you are,you can have a wonderful time here.I visited the Executive Lounge Grain, Elara and The Shore across my stay, and the food was beyond amazing. I would not hesitate to come here again.

AAnonymous UserCheck in was smooth. Staffs were friendly. Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

GGuest UserHad a great stay! Room was big for the price, clean, and smelled fresh. Super convenient spot, close to spas, restaurants, local shows, art street, and markets. We loved walking around in the evenings. Staff was friendly, and the balcony gave off peaceful, nature vibes even though you’re right in the city. Just make sure to keep food covered ants can show up since it’s near the forest. Side note: no hair dryer provided n bring your own travel adapter as Indonesia using EU type power plug.

AAmanda MarieStayed here for just 2 night as hadn’t been to the area before and wanted to see what it was like. Beautiful place and gorgeous room and gardens. Clean and very well maintained. Only issues were minor-  anytime we tried to phone for room service or reception you’d have to call 2-3 times before anyone picked up. I think there were 3 or 4 restaurants on the premises but they pretty much all had the same menu and it was nothing to blow your socks off. I had a late night sweet tooth this trip and was very disappointed with the room service deserts. We had cheesecake with no flavour at all and a very tiny brownie that came with a very small scoop of ice cream that I think was sitting on a small piece of bread. I think it was meant to be sponge cake but it looked and tasted like bread. Also had 3 small old strawberries and a smidge of chocolate sauce that was not very nice. The menu said it came with a maracuya sauce (passion fruit) which it didn’t- there was no mention of the strawberries which could be an issue if anyone had an allergy. I ordered iced lattes which were quite nice but a very small glass for the size. I asked for a bit of ice cream to be added and was charged for a whole serve of icecream which made it about $12AU which was double what I’ve payed anywhere else in Bali. I did mention this to staff who deducted the cost of the ice cream which I appreciated. Any Bali hotel we’ve stayed at, you can pop your dirty cups/dishes outside the door and they will be collected. Ours sat there for 24 hours even when we had staff come to the room to deliver room service. Travelled with a smoker and while you couldn’t smoke at the pool bar you were allowed to smoke on balconies and around the pool. Asked at the pool bar for an ashtray who didn’t have any and told us to go to the towel bar who didn’t have any and didn’t know where you could get one. Was then directed to a different area to ask and they gave us a plate to use. I saw people putting their cigarettes in the garden and spare bottles as there were no ashtrays available. We gave up asking for one for use on our balcony. Beautiful grounds and if smoking is allowed they should provide what’s needed or some people may just throw them on the floor which would be disappointing. If relaxing by the beach you had to walk back to the pool bar to get a drink which was a pain.  Our room had very good aircon, was very spacious and beautiful and had comfy beds. Probably the best maintained room I’ve stayed at in Bali. A good amount of PowerPoints and it was the first Bali resort I’ve stayed at that had adequate power points that our plugs didn’t keep slipping out of. I did request twin beds and to be close to the pool which other hotels didn’t even try to accommodate but Sol by Melia provided this immediately. A few families there with small children and while the resort was kid friendly to an extent, it’s maybe not the ideal place for small children. Many people trying to read by the pool and relax with small kids yelling and crying. I didn’t see any obvious play area for kids, nothing significant anyway. There’s one pool with one shallow area for kids but it’s just a little kid pool which meant they were not very entertained and were getting frustrated. If ours were still little we’d probably go somewhere tailored to kids. All in all a good stay but we did get a good deal on the room. $165AU a night with Trip.com which was significantly less than some booking sites and still cheaper than booking direct. It was nice but I wouldn’t pay the regular rate. Would I recommend- yes I think I would. Just the room alone was worth it and we had the most basic room which was very large

DDaniel64This is our 4th time of staying in this hotel also our second time in Alam Villa. But after compared to last time we stayed in 2018, it's sad to say this hotel is going down hill. The hotel is severly under staff, things are getting old, pipes are leaking. Compared to the same Anniversary holiday, we had a different experience and treatment this time. We do hope the hotel management can do something to improve. Still, we still recommend this hotel to someone who has limited budget.

AAnonymous UserStaying here was a real retreat. The room which has pool access we booked was clean, spacious, intimate bcs there only a few room. Our room was very close to the dining gazebo where there were some plugs so we could working with our laptop with a sight of ricefields. the bathroom has a good warm water shower. I love when the morning sun can penetrate to the room. Nasi goreng and Mie goreng for breakfast are quite tasty. - But sometimes you can hear a gecko at night and unfortunately during our 2n3d stay, there were no one clean and make up our room. Also tissue and water didn't get refilled.
