Amazing
GGuest UserSmall boutique hotel with amazing service, the people are so helpful. Shree Jana at the reception is very cheerful, she always greetings the guest whenever come in and out of the hotel. My flight was early past midnight, they gave special price to stay at the hotel till 3 hours before my departute. Breakfast also good, serves lots of fruits. Location is close to all the shops and restos.Recommended for travellers who are coming to Kathmandu and want to stay around Thamel. Thank you for all the staff at Kumari Boutique hotel.

TTraveltheworld@bd⭐️ Wonderful Stay at Magnificent Hotel ⭐️ We had a truly pleasant stay in Pokhara at Magnificent Hotel. The location is excellent — close to Phewa Lake and within easy walking distance of restaurants, cafés, and shops, yet the atmosphere remains calm and relaxing. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing everything needed for a restful stay. The space feels bright and welcoming, and housekeeping keeps everything neat and fresh each day. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to unwind. The staff made a strong impression with their kindness and professionalism. They were always ready to assist with directions, transportation, or local recommendations, and their warm hospitality made us feel genuinely welcome. Another highlight is the peaceful environment and lovely views around the property, which add to the relaxing experience. Whether you’re visiting Pokhara for sightseeing or simply to enjoy the scenery, the hotel provides a comfortable and convenient base. Overall, Magnificent Hotel offers great service, a convenient location, and excellent value. A very enjoyable stay — highly recommended for travelers visiting Pokhara! 🌄

GGuest UserI had an incredible stay and extended two more nights.  The GM and the staff are super helpful and customer oriented.  Room is spacious.  Morning yoga is included and the male yoga teacher is phenomenal.  The yoga practice is inside the monastery.  The location is another advantage.  It’s walking distance to the Boudha Stupa which allows me to walk there a few times a day.  At the same time, it’s in a quiet dead end.  Lastly, it could be helpful for some who wish to disconnect digitally because   wifi doesn’t work too well .  There’s only one server located near the staircase in my building. If your room is far away from it, the signal is obviously problematic.

HhgseyyyIt is about 1km away from the center of Thamel. It is relatively quiet and has a good environment. Facilities: quite complete and there is a small elevator which is quite convenient. Sanitation: much cleaner than hotels in the Thamel area. Environment: good environment with less dust. In general, if you like quietness, you can stay here. There is a supermarket next to it which is also convenient. It takes 13-15 minutes to walk to Thamel 1 and 2 streets.

MMH RONYThey are very welcoming, and the reception staff was awesome. They accept international visa card. Every floor have a nice balcony for gossiping, eating coffee and smoking. With this budget, best hotel. My room was 404. Problems: 1. The telephone was not dead. 2. Curtains are very thin so in the morning you can't sleep in the sunlight. 3. The doors and windows are very old, that's why if someone is talking outside of the room you will hear everything and maybe they also hear you. 4. They just provide tissue and soap, they didn’t provide toothbrush, toothpaste, or shampoo. So if you booked this hotel keep this with you. 5. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you don't like the stairs, is it not for you and you can talk to the hotel before booking for the 2nd floors room.

PPascalHad a terrible experience at this hotel - booked it as a first stop in Kathmandu on arrival in Nepal, place to put my luggage while trekking and a last night before flying out of the country. There is no provision for bag check - no tag given or the like. Asked if could leave / check my bag was told yes and to leave infront of front desk. Two weeks later when I returned to the hotel bag was still in the lobby infront of front desk. Things were missing of course - none of great enough value to argue, but the fact they couldn’t even be bothered to move the bag a few feet to a closet / holding space or the like is indicative of the way this place rolls. Tried to book a shuttle for early morning to airport through hotel, listed as included service. Despite confirming and reconfirming, they arranged nothing. Instead at 5:15 AM it became a game of let’s make a deal and see how much we can charge while providing no evidence there was even a driver. In the end I gave up and carted my luggage to the street to get a taxi. Nepal is a wonderful country - this hotel was a consistent bad experience. Rooms themselves are meh - didn’t try the free breakfast, on site restaurant was pretty good, atmosphere/ food. This isn’t a cheap hotel by local standards - for the price point there are much / many options in the area.

GGuest UserThe room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

GGuest UserI stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

CChristinalvxingdarenBecause I didn't catch the plane, I found a small hotel temporarily in the early morning. facility: Although the hotel is small, the hardware facilities are relatively good in Nepal, which is good. There is air conditioning, hot water and card swipe door locks, which are advanced. But there is no hair dryer either… health: I still saw the hair... environment: Room comfortable Serve: The breakfast provided is relatively simple (Picture 6 is the breakfast menu) The service attitude of the staff at night is good, but the service attitude during the day is average. In the evening, my friend in Kathmandu sent me to the hotel to pick up my luggage and take me to the airport. The hotel staff was even more hospitable.
