The environment is great and the facilities are decent. However, the breakfast really falls short of Asian guests' expectations; it's quite a downgrade compared to hotels in Asia.

JasminlyI loved the luxurious lobby and our room with a beautiful pool view. The beach at night is stunning, especially with the fire decorations. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the food is also good.
However, there were some issues. We called twice for extra towels and to replace a dirty vanity kit in our room, but no one came. Some staff also seemed to take advantage of travelers. For example, we had to wait a long time to get a refund for a drink we bought at the pool bar and could only receive it after repeatedly asking. Additionally, we tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport, but the staff claimed it wasn’t possible because taxis weren’t available at that time. Later, we saw a taxi at the hotel front dropping off a passenger. The staff then quickly came out to say she can book one now.
Overall, while the property and amenities are lovely, service issues affected our experience.

YogiboyThey give access cards to enter the dorm, which is a good thing from security perspective. Only authorised travelers can enter the dorm. Bunk beds have sufficient closures to get some privacy, such that only 4 of beds can see each others. Shared toilet & bathrooms are separate. Smugglers Cove is the best place to chill in its bar and they organise some traditional shows on some days of the week.

This hotel is quite good as a transitional stay upon arriving in Fiji, being close to the airport. The room has a refrigerator, washing machine, kitchenware, and pots and pans, allowing for simple meal preparation. The service is excellent; the front desk and other staff are all very enthusiastic, polite, and friendly. The highlight is the hotel's 6th-floor restaurant with sea views, and the prices are very reasonable. Aside from the high accommodation cost, everything else is impeccable.

I had booked the family apartment few weeks ago to attend my nephew’s engagement party 5 mins away at Bates cafe. Initially I loved the set up, space and first impression until night time when we returned from the party to sleep. The room that my mum was sleeping had bed bug on the duvet and we later on we could see blood stains on the bed sheet overhang. Mum had already got bitten by the bed bug and had allergic reaction for few days. Both mum and I are allergic to bed bugs and specially me. Therefore, I couldn’t risk sleeping on the bed. I had to move into the other room with another family. I was trying to reach the room service for some more bed sheets but couldn’t at that time of the night. While checking out I had speaking raised my concern and I was told by the checkout lady that they had fumigated just last week. That’s beside the point, we shouldn’t be paying to be bitten by bed bugs.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a great location—right by the beach, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. There's also a convenient store nearby with a restaurant upstairs that serves delicious food.
Our deluxe room was clean but near the main entrance so a bit noisy at times. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower took a long time to produce hot water, resulting in wasted water and often uncomfortably cold showers. The water pressure was also quite low. Additionally, there was no shelf near the sink to place toiletries like toothpaste, which made things a bit inconvenient.

momo196405I went for breakfast at 6:15 AM on the 20th, after being told it started at 6 AM. When I asked the omelet station attendant to make an omelet, she had just poured herself a cup of coffee and told me to come back later. Five minutes later, no one was there, and then she returned another five minutes after that and finally took my order. She made it, but without a smile, seeming rather annoyed. If this is the case, it would be better to just state that breakfast starts at 6 AM, but omelets aren't available until after 6:30 AM.

Bua Bed and Breakfast exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is absolutely ideal — just a short walk to the beach and only a few minutes’ drive to Nadi town, which has a great selection of food and beverage options. Even better, the coach pick-up point for island hopping tours is conveniently located near the hotel, making day trips effortless.
The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with reliable and fast Wi-Fi — something I really appreciated. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day.
Overall, Bua B&B offers great value, especially if you're looking for convenience, comfort, and a strategic base for exploring the area.

Helpful, happy and friendly staff who were there to greet us when we arrived on the complimentary shuttle bus that picked us up from the airport. Our room was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for the 3 of us. Very good air-conditioning. Beautiful gardens and surroundings throughout the whole place. Good breakfast provided and the dinner menu had a good selection and we enjoyed our meals. The restaurant staff were excellent. Happy, cheerful, and quick service. The pool was clean with plenty of areas to sit and relax or have a refreshing swim. The front desk were happy to call a taxi if needed.

Check in was after 3pm, check out 10:30 , and you have to get the towel from the reception. Too many rules plastered in the room as if you are going to rob them. A deposit of FJD50 in cash is required (no drinks in the room whatsoever, just instant coffee). I asked if I can check out before 12nn but was allowed only up to 11am. When I went back to get my luggage, the lady told me that I was supposed to have checked out already, without even asking if I already did. Only the cleaning staff were helpful. Would not recommend.
