This hotel deserves all the praise! The moment we stepped into the parking lot, we were greeted by that signature scent of a five-star hotel. As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience. The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality. This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!

Hampton by Hilton Shannan is a new hotel that only opened at the end of 2024. The hotel's facilities are very complete, all are intelligent voice control, the mattress is very comfortable, and very clean, the room is large, the toilet in the bathroom is a smart toilet, more advanced than the one in my house, can be remote control, remote control smart toilet This is very suitable for me, Because I'm hard on the toilet on the ordinary. We went to the hotel and gave us a free upgrade of the room type, and also sent welcome fruit. The hotel minibar's Coke Qixi, soda water mineral water is free to drink, breakfast variety is many, taste is also very good, this price is very worth it. And one thing worthy of praise is that the lobby manager also helped me book 5 rooms at Hilton Huiting Hotel Lhasa. The price is 80 yuan cheaper than the above. This service can be praised. I will stay here next time I travel to Shannan.

It's tucked away in a quiet spot but still close to the action. * **Elegant ******* Design:** The lobby features a traditional ******* white stupa, red lacquer wood carvings, and white walls. The public areas have spacious gardens, and the rooftop bar offers direct views of Potala Palace at night – perfect for photos! * **Altitude Sickness Friendly:** Each room has an independent oxygen generator (which works really well!), a humidifier, and underfloor heating. There's also a 24-hour infirmary, making you feel completely secure regarding altitude sickness. * **Excellent Service:** Butler-style service. Upon check-in, we received a Hada scarf, yak butter tea, and welcome fruits/yak yogurt. The evening ceremony (******* knife champagne opening + bonfire + Guozhuang dance) was a truly special experience. * **Thoughtful Breakfast:** A semi-buffet with à la carte options, offering a great variety and consistent quality. They had ******* tsampa, cheese dregs, yak butter tea, alongside Western Eggs Benedict. **Cons (My Real Experience):** * **Noticeable Hardware Aging:** The hotel has been open for many years. The curtains were jammed/damaged, the rain shower had weak and erratic water flow, and the floors showed wear. Maintenance seems to be lacking. * **Inconsistent Service Details:** Turndown service was perfunctory. Amenities like body lotion were an extra charge. Some public areas and guest restrooms had hygiene blind spots (dust, water stains). * **Significant Price Fluctuations:** The room rate dropped considerably on the day of booking after I had already paid, which was a poor experience for members/repeat guests. There were also occasional tour groups, which reduced the sense of privacy. * **Inconvenient Public Area Layout:** Guest rooms are spread across different buildings, meaning long walks and tiring uphill climbs.

This was one of the most satisfying hotels on our Tibet trip. The entire place had a very distinct and local character. When they found out we were on our honeymoon, they upgraded us to a room with a terrace and a bathtub. Our butler, Tsering Dhondup, brought our luggage to the room and gave us a very detailed and thoughtful explanation of everything. He also set up a group chat, and his responses were always prompt. The hotel owner has excellent personal taste; guests receive a complimentary hat and a collection of Tsangyang Gyatso's poems. The mini-bar and snacks are restocked daily, and a 'goodnight drink' is provided every evening. We went out sightseeing on the night we checked in, and were pleasantly surprised the next morning to find that they had even set up a table and chairs on the terrace. The hotel offers a wide range of activities from morning till night. We participated in a sound bath session, which was a unique experience. We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit to Lhasa.

We called ahead to let the hotel know it was our 5th wedding anniversary and hoped they could decorate the room for us. We were so pleasantly surprised when we entered – red bedding and swans folded from towels really showed the hotel's thoughtfulness. Manager Kuang even gave us a tour of the hotel garden, where we met a cute golden retriever named Zhouzhou! I wasn't dressed appropriately to pet dogs, otherwise I definitely would have played with her. We heard they're planning to build a pet park and organize some parent-child activities soon, which sounds amazing. We hope to see it on our next visit. Special thanks to Aunt Bian Zhen from housekeeping, Manager Kuang from the front desk, and Pubu Zhaxi from security who helped us with our luggage and parking. These three were truly warm, enthusiastic, and responsible. Experiencing such excellent service in the highlands was even better than the St. Regis in Lhasa! Oh, and Miss Baima from the Liao Bar was also very lovely! We had an unforgettable anniversary.

The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

My stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in Lhasa was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. Every detail, from the airport pickup to daily living, dining, and transportation, showcased professionalism and warmth. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa! The airport pickup service was punctual and attentive. The driver was calm and professional, ensuring a smooth and comfortable journey. Throughout our trip, the hotel arranged a dedicated driver to take us to Jokhang Temple and Potala Palace. The routes were well-planned, the driving was steady, and he waited patiently, allowing us to easily visit these sacred sites without any worries. I must give special praise to our butler, Zhixi. His service was incredibly meticulous and he anticipated our every need. From guiding us during check-in and offering itinerary suggestions to providing tips for high altitude, he followed up attentively throughout, always responsive to our requests. He handled every small detail with such care and thoughtfulness, making us feel completely at ease. The dining experience at the restaurant was excellent. The dishes were varied, delicious, and of high quality. A special thanks to Dekyi Wangmo for her exceptional care. Her service was warm and attentive; she proactively anticipated our needs, from taking orders to refilling tea and providing thoughtful details. The dining atmosphere was cozy and pleasant, and we enjoyed every meal thoroughly. This was especially helpful for us who experienced some altitude sickness. Standard hotel services were also top-notch. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were humble, courteous, and responded quickly. Whether it was helping with facilities, addressing requests, or providing temporary assistance, they were efficient and warm, truly making us feel at home. From airport transfers and butler service to restaurant care, the Shangri-La Hotel's exceptional dedication protected our entire journey, making our high-altitude trip warm and smooth.

Facilities: This was the only guesthouse I stayed at in Lhasa. The room had no unpleasant odors, no dampness, and no cigarette smoke. The downstairs decor was also nice, and the overall facilities felt very new! (However, the fireplace wasn't working; I really wanted to light some firewood for a photo, what a pity!) There was a bathtub, and heaven knows how wonderful it is to take a bath after a long drive—it's so necessary! The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the toiletries were individually packaged and smelled amazing! I absolutely loved the body lotion! Cleanliness: Good. I checked the bedding, and it was all very good! Environment: The interior is just a small courtyard, but there's a gate that can be closed, so it's quite safe at night! The rooms don't have any views; you can only see the Rainbow Courtyard. None of the rooms have a view of the Potala Palace, perhaps due to the location… Service: Excellent! Everything was responded to very quickly! The staff helped us with our luggage; we bought a lot of things towards the end of the trip, thank you! They also provided some local restaurant recommendations. The tip is that when we checked in, they gave us two complimentary drinks at the guesthouse bar downstairs, but no one reminded us (or maybe they did remind me and I forgot, only noticing when we left), so we went out for a drink. When we came back, we checked out the bar downstairs, and the ambiance and atmosphere were quite nice! They should have reminded us!! The breakfast was amazing! Much better than that five-star hotel! The staff were very attentive, clearing and returning our plates promptly. The rice noodles were incredibly delicious; I ate so much by myself… The yak yogurt had a strong flavor, and it tasted very authentic! In short, it was really delicious!!!

The breakfast was varied and delicious, satisfying me every day. Parking was convenient and quick, eliminating the hassle of searching for a spot, making getting around very easy. Overall, it offers excellent value for money, making it suitable for both business and leisure travel. I would definitely choose to stay here again and highly recommend it!

Route 219 traveled to Tibet + Xinjiang. After coming down from the Everest base camp, my friend and I stepped on the accelerator and drove 1,000 kilometers to Pulan, preparing to start the trip to the Ngari region. At that time, we stayed in the same brand hotel on Mount Everest, so we saw Pulan County Yes, I made the reservation without any hesitation. Because I didn’t pay attention to whether the room contained oxygen when placing the order, the staff contacted me at around 10pm to tell me that the room type I booked did not contain oxygen. After the final communication, they took the initiative to apply for a free breakfast for us. and oxygen. We arrived at the hotel around 01.00 in the morning. As soon as the car arrived, there were staff (two young brothers) outside the hotel lobby who greeted us warmly and were waiting for us. This scene was really heartwarming💓 and then took the initiative to help us get our luggage. In the room, after learning that we had not eaten dinner, we immediately went to the restaurant to cook instant noodles for us. Our friends who were traveling with us were very touched and felt like home. The guest room is also very atmospheric, the mattress is very comfortable, and the hygiene is very clean. The room is specially equipped with a humidifier. I have a good rest throughout the night. The room is large enough, and the configuration and layout are very comfortable. The staff are also very professional, very skilled in responding to various inquiries, handle problems very well, and are able to provide services to customers. I really want to thank the two young brothers here. They are really heart-warming. One helped carry the luggage and the other helped cook the instant noodles.
