A beautiful resort by the beach… best place to catch the sunrise (that’s main intent of trip there). If you want to just sit down and soak in the sun and sea… this is the place.. You can find local food and snacks next door at Teluk Cempedak if you want to eat local priced food (but still not as cheap as at other places).
Good thing about this apartment is, air cond is good, and it’s relatively clean. I will write what I see, the bedsheets and quilt cover is full of stains, it’s really time to change new sets. There is no separate air cond split unit inside small room with single bed. The under sink pipe in dining area came off during our stay, good thing is management sent repairman within 30minutes. Quite a number of eateries near the apartment, this is a plus point. Beach access was good.
Staying 3 days 2 nights, last minute booking and requested a room on the top floor but unfortunately there were no rooms available that time. Stay in block C with hill view and new cable car. Can see a little bit of the Skyworld ice age game. Fortunate to picture a clear view on daytime and night.
Satisfied because the cooking equipment and washing machine work well especially the dryer. There will be more famous f&b shops will be opened soon.
Although there is only 1 access key and parking isn't free, I am still satisfied with the facilities available especially the outdoor and indoor playground, swimming pool, hidden garden, hammock, stargazing, wall climbing, trampoline all free.
Other extra activities such as bowling, darts & pool, golf simulator and karaoke are also available and the fee is also affordable. Comfortable for families to have fun in privacy. More interestingly, the staff are also very quick to act when receiving complaints.
To go up to Skyworld, you can also go through the skybridge and walk 20-30 minutes. If you are lucky, you can use the buggy provided. Wheelchairs and strollers are also available at the customer service counter on level G.
Highly recommended for large families. I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights and definitely will come back again.
This is our first time staying at this hotel and dare I say, it was one of the best 5-star hotels I’ve been in. Will definitely, definitely come again. Everything and everyone were wonderful. The room was so squeaky clean and no speck of dusts anywhere. The bathroom’s design was top notch I love every inch of it. And the room had carpet-floor which made it easier and less painful for my baby to crawl around. The view was to die for. Very secluded and private and calm. Okay now the breakfast, heads off to the chef, the foods were amazing. I think this hotel has been here for quite a while now but they had managed to maintain and made it look like brand new. Two things I wanna suggest a bit, maybe can provide a prayer mat for the muslims or the front desk maybe should ask first whether we need any prayer mats, that would’ve been nice. One other thing, during breakfast, maybe can make sure the utensils are more accessible rather than upon request cause each table was provided with limited number of spoons and forks. But yeah other than that, everything was perfect from the beginning till the end. Huge thanks to Mark as well cause he did a wonderful job assisting us to our room and everything. Kudos to every staffs here, they were so nice and helpful. Oh yeah almost forgot about the welcome drinks, they were absolute perfect thank you so much. Will come again and again. Best hotel here.
TFantastic Family Escape – Kids Loved the Pool & Beach!
Rating: 4.5/5
We had an absolute blast at Swiss-Garden Kuantan! If you’re looking for a family getaway that keeps the kids entertained, this is the spot.
The Highlights:
Kid-Approved: The pool area with the slide was a massive hit—my kids (3, 9, & 11) couldn't get enough of it.
Beachside Bliss: The location is perfect, with easy access to a beautiful, clean beach that we really enjoyed.
Nightly Entertainment: The fire show for hotel guests was a fantastic surprise and a great way to end the day.
Top-Tier Service: A huge shoutout to the staff—they were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay.
Breakfast Win: The breakfast spread was seriously good!
Pro-Tip for Guests:
The breakfast buffet gets very busy during peak hours, and you might have to wait for a table. My advice: plan your timing to head down a bit earlier to beat the rush and secure your spot comfortably.
Pro:
1. Situated right in the city center next to East Coast Mall.
2. Spacious Rooms: Modern, clean rooms featuring exceptionally comfortable bedding and great city views
3. Excellent Facilities: Features a large outdoor swimming pool and a well-equipped gym.
Con:
1. Peak Hours: Check-out and elevator wait times can be long during weekends.
Overall : Recommended, value for money, convenient and comfortable stay.
Best impromptu booking ever!
I booked the room the second I spotted the jacuzzi on the balcony with a mountain view and that was honestly just the beginning. I had no idea there’d be so many amenities, both for the family and separately for me, my daughter, and my husband. My only regret is only booking for one night.
Antara has so much to offer, and it’s just a few minutes from the more commercialized resort and theme park area, close enough to everything but without the crowds. The condo unit was huge and spotless for just the three of us. The carpets and curtains alone give off serious luxury vibes.
No breakfast included, but there’s a lovely brunch spot called The Lemon Tree right downstairs. We also caught an early dinner at Tono Izakaya, a Japanese restaurant nearby — highly recommend. We didn’t really need to head out to Skyworld Avenue, but my daughter had her heart set on the theme park, so we squeezed that in before check-in.
The staff are super friendly and easy to reach via WhatsApp.
Would 100% book again, and definitely for more than one night next time!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional location and wonderfully clean! My family had a fantastic stay at 1001 nights hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—very nice surroundings and easy to get around. Even visiting in June, the weather here was beautifully cool and refreshing, making it the perfect escape. Most importantly, the hotel is incredibly clean and well-maintained. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful stay at Swiss-Garden Hotel & Residences, Genting Highlands. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help.
One of the highlights of my stay was the foot massage at the hotel, which was very relaxing after a long day. The food was also good, with a nice variety of options and great taste.
The breakfast area was quite crowded in the morning, but I visited during a long weekend, so that was understandable. Despite the crowd, the staff managed the situation well.
Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Great service, comfortable facilities, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Genting Highlands and would happily stay here again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Luxury, well decorated studio with fully equipped kitchen, and beautiful views; Very nice bedroom with comfortable large bed; Spacious bathroom with a nice bathtub; Having its own, luxury shopping mall with everything we need, including grocery stores, entertainment center, restaurants, coffee shops, etc.;Having an interior bridge, one side to the First World and the Sky avenue in 15-20 minutes walking distance, and the other side to the Chin Swee Caves Temple mostly with escalator; Easy check in and check out processes; Our most wonderful accommodation experience in Genting Highlands; Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThis was our 1st stay in the resort and it turned out to an interesting & awesome experience!
We checked-in on 11th of March & checked-out on 13th of March. I booked a 2-single bed room but the hotel given us a king bed room at the upper floor. After talking to the front desk. I was told only king bed room was available. However, my wife didn't have a good night sleep as she was having light sleep, so easily waken-up due to noise & movement. The upper floor somehow was noisy due to the traffic outside the hotel. We have no choice but to feedback to the hotel manager on the 2nd day. The manager Ms Su was kind enough and upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor, with 2 single beds & a king bed. That made our 2nd night slept peacefully. Thanks Ms Su of her attentiveness.
The morning breakfast was a ala carte menu of Malaysian & western cuisine. Not a fantastic food but the service given by the professional F&B staffs made the experience so pleasant! Sincere thanks to F&B supervisor Santhosh & staff Myint of their attentive service.
MMarina YoshiOne-night last-minute stay at The Kasturi Resort, Cherating with my husband and two kids. First time here and overall satisfied. Calm, relaxing resort and we enjoyed the spa. However, there is no kids’ club, so it may be better suited for couples or families whose kids enjoy quieter activities. Still a pleasant and refreshing short stay.

AADLANFASHLII recently stayed at Wyndham Ion Majestic and had a mixed experience. The hotel offers beautiful mountain views, a modern room design, and a cool climate that makes for a pleasant getaway. The property certainly looks impressive and has the potential to be a great destination. However, there were several areas that fell short of my expectations for a hotel that positions itself as a 5-star property.
Firstly, no hotel slippers were provided in the room, which is a basic amenity that most guests would expect at this level. In addition, only one bathrobe was available despite the room being occupied by two guests. These may seem like minor details, but attention to such details is what differentiates a true 5-star experience from an average one.
Another issue was the shower's hot water system. The water temperature fluctuated constantly between hot and cold every few seconds, making it difficult to enjoy a comfortable shower. This is something that should be addressed as it directly affects guest comfort.
The lift waiting times were also quite long during peak hours, and the hotel felt crowded at times. While this may be understandable due to high occupancy, better crowd and lift management would significantly improve the overall guest experience.
As for breakfast, it was decent but rather ordinary. The selection was acceptable, but nothing particularly stood out. For a hotel of this category, I was expecting a wider variety and a more memorable dining experience.
Overall, I enjoyed the scenery and the room itself, but the service details and facilities did not fully match the expectations associated with a 5-star hotel. With some improvements in maintenance, room preparation, and guest experience management, this property could easily become much better.

GGuest UserThe environment for the room is very nice and there is a nice view outside. And also they do have wine glasses in the room and me and my husband can have wine time during the jacuzzi. During morning time you can see the nice view and be able to see the temple. There is also a linked bridge to the outdoor theme park and enjoy our time there. There is also a gym room and indoor swimming pool downstairs. Next time I will bring my family to come and stay here again.
AAnonymous UserFantastic! I absolutely loved it. Everything was so simple and straightforward. The self-check-in process was a breeze – no need to bother anyone. The customer service staff were also wonderful 😊. Nice and very good!

GGuest UserThis is considered the best hotel in Genting. Upon check-in, they give you a small bear and some snacks. The bottled water is quite small, but you can ask the front desk for more, and they'll bring a good amount all at once.
