Had a pleasant stay at Weil Hotel Ipoh with my family. The location was excellent and very convenient, especially for getting around and finding food nearby. The service was good overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The room and hotel were generally clean, although there is still a little room for improvement in cleanliness. The amenities were good and made the stay comfortable. Overall, it was a nice experience and I would consider staying here again.
A beautiful and peaceful retreat surrounded by nature.
The Banjaran Hotsprings Retreat offers breathtaking scenery, privacy, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The villa was elegant and comfortable, and the hot spring facilities were exceptional. What made the stay even better was the staff — warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming. A perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Highly recommended.
A very attractive luxury hotel in the heart of Ipoh. The breakfast menu was appealing with plenty of choices. Enjoyed the pool facilities both day and night while taking in the beauty of Ipoh city.
The property is run under Tui Blue and operates like a hotel. Very clean so that is a plus for us. The living area is just nice and balcony offers good view of mountains and the housing estates of Ipoh Garden, Bercham. Breakfast was a no fuss affair and efficient. Walk around the property is surprisingly calming. Only problem I had was the hot water in the shower. The knob can be burning hot since it is not premixed. Free drinks in the fridge definitely a nice touch though.
The hotel is new and has Wi-Fi! 😊 The room is spacious with a microwave, an electric stove, and a balcony. 🤟 Free parking is a plus! ✌️ The rooftop gym is well-equipped 💪, and there's an infinity pool and a kids' pool. ✌️ There's even a co-working space, which is convenient for business. ✌️ Downstairs, the garden has some photogenic displays perfect for pictures! 🥳 No breakfast provided though. 😉 Overall, great value for money! 🥳
Marina Island Boat transfer easy, although I feel a little expensive. Coffee was cold, they had wrong check in information and I almost tripped on uneven block surface exiting building to boat. Check in completed at reception , with correction to booking. We were in a lower tropical garden villa, which is cheapest room. We were lucky to have part sea view and part back of pool view. Other lower villas in this category, not so good a view. This said, room was gorgeous, despite dead moth in sunken bath area. All the staff were fantastic and helpful. Chatted to some people in over water villas, who were disappointed you could not swim in sea from villa, nor enter sea from beach around jetty , due to sea urchins. On the other side of the Island is Emerrald bay. Absolutely stunning! Beautiful beach and sea to swim in. Lots of space for sun beds, but everyday ran out by 11am! Suggest they get some more! Forfeited scrumptious in all restaurants.
A very relaxing seaside getaway. Warm and attentive staff during check-in, room are clean, spacious and comfortable beds. Friendly environment with large swimming pool with mini water park, good for family outing. Direct beach access but can't swim during my stay as many jellyfish spotted. Their buffet breakfast with variety choices just nice for us.
Slightly away from the city center room we’re decent and spacious. Basic amenities but for the same price, a hotel might be a better deal. For golfers and family who preferred nature over convenience might be ideal.
I recently stayed at The Stallionz in Ipoh, and it was a pleasant surprise. As a very new property, it definitely has that ”fresh” feel and modern aesthetic that's hard to beat.
The Good (Exceeded Expectations)
• Immaculate & Modern: Since the building is very new, everything from the lobby to the rooms felt pristine. The design is sleek and far more ”premium” than I expected for the price point.
• Top-Notch Facilities: The common areas and pool are standout features. They’ve clearly put effort into making the place ”Instagrammable” and comfortable for a chill staycation.
• Convenience: Great location in the heart of town, making it easy to grab food or head out for sightseeing.
Things to Note
While the stay was mostly great, there were two small issues that guests should be aware of:
• Bathroom Ventilation: One downside was the lack of an air ventilation system (exhaust fan) in the toilet. This can make the bathroom feel a bit stuffy/humid after a shower, so you might need to leave the door open to air it out.
• Room View (Lower Floors): I stayed on the 2nd floor, and there was almost no view to speak of. If you’re someone who values a city or mountain skyline, I’d highly recommend requesting a unit on a higher floor (Level 10 or above) to really enjoy the surroundings.
The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Since it is a new building, some floors are still under renovation.
This was my first experience having a blackout while showering at night. I tried to contact the agency, but there were no staff available, so the only solution offered was a room change. We had to spend extra time moving all our belongings to another floor.
One suggestion is to consider waiving the deposit requirement, or for the agent to contact guests one day before check-in to reconfirm the booking and deposit payment. I had already submitted my deposit before check-in, but the agency may have missed my message. I only received the entry QR code after being stopped and questioned by the security guard, which made the experience stressful.

Iismahani04I forgot to take photos but trust me, I think this property is new, so it is very clean, everything looked new, not crowded at all, check in process also very simple, no deposit needed. Room is very cozy and comfortable.
You may get confused upon arrival but the security guards are helpful and able to communicate in English.
I enjoy staying here very much!
