Excellent! Located in the old district of Macau Peninsula, it's convenient for dining, accommodation, entertainment, and shopping. Personally, I think it offers better value for money than staying in Taipa. From the Gongbei Port, you can take the Sands or Grand Lisboa shuttle bus, and it's about a 10-minute walk from the drop-off point. For your return journey, you can also take the Sands shuttle back to the Border Gate. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel (bus route 3) that goes to the Ruins of St. Paul's, which is also just over a 1km walk away. The Fisherman's Wharf, Sands, MGM, Wynn, and StarWorld are all within walking distance too. The hotel management staff are polite and humble, and the rooms are very spacious and clean. It's quiet at night, ensuring a good rest. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay. I visit Macau frequently and will definitely stay here again next time.
This hotel is quite old, with a very vintage feel and a strong sense of history.~~
Facilities: Average, generally quite old. I was particularly unhappy with the hairdryer; it was stuck in a drawer, couldn't be pulled out, and was tethered by a cord, making it incredibly difficult to use. It's not like I'm going to steal a hairdryer, it's not even valuable...
Hygiene: Decent.
Environment: Close to Fisherman's Wharf, overall pretty good.
Service: The front desk staff were quite cold, making me wait until well after 3 PM for check-in. I don't think I'll be returning.
The location is great, close to all the entertainment venues, and the nearby beef brisket and tea houses are convenient and delicious. I love Macau; the service attitude is excellent and very convenient for tourists. There was a slight issue with the room rate, but Trip.com resolved it very well, which I'm quite satisfied with.
The hotel is very close to Sands Macao. You can take a taxi to Sands, then walk about 7-8 minutes to the hotel. Behind the hotel, there's a Polytechnic University, and next to it is the Grand Prix Museum. It's a quiet location despite being in a busy area. There's a bus stop right in front of the hotel, and you can walk to the Ruins of St. Paul's in about half an hour. The rooms are very clean, and the facilities are well-maintained and feel new. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time I'm in Macau.
The lobby is spacious, bright, and elegant. The front desk service was excellent; they even helped reserve a room for us. The room was bright and tidy, and the housekeeping was spot on. The floor staff were also very enthusiastic. The lobby's cake was delicious, and the pork chop bun was better than what you'd find elsewhere.
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to entertainment venues like Grand Lisboa, Sands, MGM, and L'Arc, making transportation and getting around very convenient. There are also many restaurants and eateries nearby, and the prices are reasonable. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and is great value for money. The rooms are spacious, and the bedding is clean and tidy. Highly recommended.
The service attitude was excellent; both the front desk and breakfast staff were very polite and spoke Mandarin. When we noticed a smoky smell in our room, they immediately switched us to another one. The bed was large and comfortable. Overall, we were very satisfied, and it offered good value for money.
Hotel is old and tired, need renovation badly. However room is clean and tidy. Reception service was so-so and not welcoming. Check-in was good though, just the night time when approached another receptionist for my own room number but was given a cold and not welcoming reply. It was normal for guest to forget their own room numbers as they don’t stay permanently. However a simple way to verify was guest able to give his identity numbers and name. Or hotel can always accompany the guest to the room to verify. However this guy was so unpleasant and blunt in his replied. Will not stay again in this hotel.
We loved everything about this hotel. Its quiet atmosphere, thoughtful details and beautiful decorations. We felt like in a movie. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was kind and helpful. Amazing views from a rooftop, our reservation included a complimentary cocktail or mocktail on the last floor. It was marvelous. Room was tasteful, including all the amenities and even a bottle of wine! Hotel's location is also prime, easy to find it and easy to roam around the old part of Macau. Loads of great restaurants around, we recommend Yan Tang Dessert for dinner and a sweet something afterwards! We travelled for 2 weeks and the best sleep and service we received in this hotel. Don't hesitate!
Off the popular area and close to Taipa ferry terminal. They do have shuttle service running very infrequently across a few location. We managed to catching the shuttle to the Ferry terminal. It was a short 20 mins ride with a few stops in between. Saving yourself the chronic Macau taxi who will always take the longer routes.
Room is updated but slightly small, but have most updated amenities.

JJushifulvxingrijiThe room was spacious and clean with complete amenities, and all the toiletries were L'Occitane products, which really got me interested. When I checked out, the front desk even gave me a sample, which I loved. It's also quite convenient for getting around; there's a light rail just a few hundred meters away that goes straight to the airport. The only downside is that the toothbrush bristles were too hard and made my gums bleed. 😫
AAnonymous UserAn excellent value-for-money hotel. After clearing customs at Hengqin Port, we took a short car ride to the Galaxy area. From there, it was just a few hundred meters' walk across the road to reach the hotel. The Light Rail station is conveniently located right at Galaxy's entrance, making it super easy to get around. The hotel itself is simple but impeccably clean. They even thoughtfully provide power outlets compatible with mainland China plugs, so you won't need to worry if you forget your adapter.

HHaijiaoshengmingyueThe room was very spacious and clean, and the facilities were quite new. Although there isn't a direct free shuttle, the connections were still pretty convenient. The mattress was very comfortable, neither too soft nor too firm, so I didn't wake up with a backache. The room also had universal adapters, which is super convenient for mainland tourists. It's close to the airport, and getting in and out of the city is actually quite easy.

MmysteryblackmoonWe stayed at the Grand Emperor Hotel in the Queen Suite and found it very suitable for a family stay. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with enough space for both adults and children to move around without feeling cramped. The bed was large and comfortable, and the overall room layout worked well for family needs.
The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to nearby attractions, shops, and dining options, which made getting around with kids much easier. Housekeeping was reliable, and the staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, the Queen Suite offered good comfort and space for a family trip.
LLulThe hotel is very beautiful, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel location is very convenient, easily accessible with public bus ( less than 200m walk from the bus stop), but far away from the hustle and bustle of the crowded Macau city. The property is at the beach front. My room came with the balcony facing the beach, it's very beautiful
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Grand View Hotel in Macau and wanted to share my experience. It's a solid choice for travelers seeking convenience and cleanliness.
The location is a major highlight. Getting there from the airport was a breeze, taking less than 15 minutes by taxi. For exploring, the nearby LRT station made accessing The Venetian and other parts of the city incredibly easy. Plus, having a supermarket right behind the hotel was super convenient for grabbing snacks and essentials.
The room itself was great—very clean and tidy, providing a comfortable space to relax after a day of exploring.
Overall, the Grand View Hotel offers a fantastic blend of convenience and comfort, making it a place I'd recommend
