MMELVIN LIM FUI SIANGThis was my first time staying at Babahouse, and I really loved the concept and traditional style of the hotel.
From the moment we arrived at the lobby, we were warmly greeted and welcomed with a complimentary drink coin for the entire stay — 1 coin per person, per room. Since we had 2 rooms for 2 days, we received 4 coins in total. A nice little touch that made us feel welcomed.
When we entered our rooms, they were generally clean, tidy and comfortable. However, in one of the rooms, we noticed some mould on the towel and also on the bed. We understand that this can happen if a room has been unoccupied for some time, especially with the humid weather. We also noticed that only some of the room windows have coverings, which may contribute to the room condition. Hopefully, the management can pay extra attention to this.
The weather outside was extremely hot, with no rain for the whole week, so the first thing we did was turn the air-conditioning on full blast!
We also tried the gym and really enjoyed it. Although the gym is small, the space is sufficient for a simple workout. They also provide towels and drinking water, which is very convenient.
Around the hotel, there is Rumah Kechik Café and also a hidden bar on the side, which adds to the overall charm and experience.
During our stay, we didn't drive around much. We mainly went out to Jonker Street and simply walked from the hotel. It was easy and convenient, and it also saved us time from dealing with traffic and finding parking.
Overall, I really enjoyed my first stay at Babahouse. I love the traditional concept, atmosphere and location. With a little more attention to room maintenance and cleanliness, I believe the experience could be even better.
Definitely a place I would consider staying again when visiting Melaka.

SsinthiPositive : Good location, good price, I booked twin room , room and bathroom size just nice for 2 guess. negative: hotel looks a bit run down, bathroom no lock .. which is a bit inconvenient when travelling with friends, the escalater not working, the corridors to the room so dark at night, they off the lights to save the cost but feel a bit unsafe as lady traveller , front dest guys was not friendly at all... i just asked a bit earlier 2.30 check in , he answered so rude .. hotel reception mean need to smile at least even if the answer is no .. actually its weekdays and the entire hotel only a few guests..can give.. i hv many hotel give at 2 pm if room available.. i hate the hotel doesn't give early check in but strictly mk early check out even not super low season.. and this hotel is only 3star level .. its not 4 star .. but the swimming pool is good

SSamiy TanIt was a pleasure staying at the Imperial Heritage Hotel again. I've been here several times before, the location is convenient and it's easy to explore the surrounding area. Good views from the 15th floor and the view perfectly matched my expectations. Thank you 👍

The only one thing disappointed us that experience during check out. We had informed the front desk in person as we needed a late check out till 2pm and then had paid RM50 for it . The front desk took our keycard and room number to update after payment. So Despite this , around 1.15 pm , one of the hotel staff come to our room and rang the bell to tell us that it’s already over the check out time .
We feel that the staff should have checked their system or confirmed with the front desk before coming to our room and inform us we exceed the check-out time.
Anyway, we enjoyed our stay there and liked the spacious room and convenient location.

GGuest UserThe room is beautifully decorated; you can tell a lot of thought and effort went into its design. The overall style is very cohesive, and it's well-equipped with excellent soundproofing. Its location right on the Strait of Malacca is fantastic. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during my two-day stay, so I couldn't enjoy the panoramic views, which was a shame. I highly recommend staying here.

The service at Bayview Hotel Melaka is truly excellent. The staff are very friendly, approachable, and helpful. The room is comfortable and clean, and the location is strategic. It's definitely worth the price paid. Will surely come back to stay again! 👍😊

Room was ready when I went to the counter for check in. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The room was spacious enough for two people.. bed also clean and comfy. I think just the cons is that there was no small fridge (?) inside my room. Not sure whether they have them installed in another rooms.
Check out also very easy and fast.
Parking around hotel were a bit limited but they provide extra parking just at the other side of the road so you have to walk a bit (dataran). Shops also pretty nearby.

HHyui.Overall, we had a good exp and enjoyed our stay, especially because of the facilities provided. However, some equipments may need maintenance. The hairdryer made a sizzling sound when in use & there was only one provided. The living room fan kept switching off by itself every 10-15mins. We contacted the host and were told that we might have accidentally set the timer despite the timer could only be set for 2 or 4 hrs. Other than these issues, we were happy with our stay.

RRelax TravellingThis is an apartment that is suitable for families of 4 and above. The unit that I have stayed is clean and it has air condition in every bedroom. You have a kitchen with some white goods attached to it. Just need to remember that it is an open plan so cooking would need to be careful. It does not have a cooker hood so it is not advisable to engage in cooking a proper food.
Overall, this is an amazing place to stay.
