4-Star Hotels in Shandong, China

I traveled alone to Yantai and planned to take the 8:59 high-speed train to Rizhao from Yantai Station on May 20th. So, on May 19th, I chose to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel (Yantai Railway Station Joy City Store), which is only about 800 meters from Yantai Station. It's also right next to the Yantai Bus Terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. When I entered the room, I found it very clean and tidy, with a trendy and modern design! The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the shower had strong, hot water. From the bed, I could enjoy beautiful views of Yantai, and the large bed was incredibly comfortable. There was also a sofa and a coffee table. Free Wi-Fi and free parking were a plus. I could easily use my portable computer that I brought with me. Downstairs, there are many restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the beach – very convenient! On the morning of May 20th, it was pouring rain at 7:30 AM. I called a Didi (ride-hailing service), and even with waiting and traffic, it took only 20 minutes to get to Yantai Station. The hotel also has a ground-level parking lot right at the entrance, so the car could pull up directly to the lobby. The lobby staff proactively helped me with my luggage, and I didn't get wet at all before getting into the car. Arriving at Yantai Station, I felt so lucky I had chosen to stay at the Lijing Coast Hotel! I will definitely choose it again next time I visit Yantai!

Jenny at the guest services center provided excellent service. The hotel staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. Service was prompt and efficient. The location is absolutely fantastic: a five-minute walk to the terminal, and you can even see the terminal from your room. Highly recommend for travelers arriving late or departing early.

I've stayed in many hotels, but this one truly stands out. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the service is attentive without being intrusive – it just gives you a sense of peace. The room had great natural light, the facilities were new, and I slept exceptionally well. It offers excellent value for money and is impeccable overall. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be returning!

Check-in was a breeze. The room was clean, and there were plenty of towels and bottled water. The free swimming pool was a pleasant surprise – clean and not too crowded. My only complaint is that the room temperature was a bit high. I'd recommend telling the front desk right away if it's uncomfortable. My bad – I'm a bit shy and thought I could fix it with the in-room control panel, but I ended up waking up in the middle of the night feeling too hot.

This hotel is perfectly located, just 300 meters from Weihai High-Speed Railway Station. You literally walk out of the station and up to it. I can personally confirm there's no noise at night. For a high-end hotel (not just a comfortable one), it boasts a convenient and efficient front desk, neatly arranged rooms, and a very spacious bathroom. The staff are also very welcoming. The hotel offers a buffet breakfast with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. Right downstairs, there's a place to rent brand-new electric scooters for about 30 yuan a day, which was incredibly convenient for exploring the coastal park, Maotou Mountain, and Torch Eight Street.

Decided to stay at this guesthouse last minute and had a great experience. The environment is quiet and comfortable, and the Song-style courtyard has a wonderful ambiance, perfect for photos. The room was clean and tidy, all facilities worked, and it offered good value for money. The owner was very friendly and genuine, making for a very relaxing stay. Definitely worth staying here if you're visiting Langya Ancient City.

Environment: Right next to the pedestrian street, super convenient for taxis and the subway. Service: The staff were really warm and enthusiastic. I'd definitely stay here again next time.
