The young lady at the front desk was extremely warm and proactive, and even upgraded us to a room with a big window. The hotel's location is also fantastic—right next to Line 6 of the subway, making it super convenient to get to the scenic spots. They also offer free luggage storage! It was recently renovated, so it's much prettier than before~~

Room had a stunning night view, hotel is grand in both scale and splendour - the minute you walk in it smells wonderful and the size of the lobby is impressive. The staff are very friendly and quick to help - they will let you know all details relevant to your stay and any questions you have will be answered quickly. The rooms are clean and well furnished, we stayed in the deluxe suite which had a fantastic view, and a massive bathroom with shower, bath and washing machine. We also had a kitchen with dishwasher, stove and fridge freezer although we did not use those. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very confusing though - even with labels at door we couldn’t figure out how to make it hotter instead of colder and unfortunately the bathroom started to smell at nights and the smells seemed to be coming up the drains, closing the door helped. Othrr than that, the stay was perfect and because of the room we stayed in we got executive benefits which included breakfast, high tea, welcome snacks and access to the executive lounge with complimentary snacks and drinks.

Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay.

This hotel is located right across from Bayi Square and is also close to the subway. Stepping out, you're on Bayi Road Food Street, where you can find all sorts of local specialty snacks. The staff were very warm and attentive. When we arrived, they immediately offered us refreshing lemon and plum juice from the hotel's self-service, which was incredibly crisp and tasty. Housekeeping was prompt; they even helped us with laundry while we were out exploring. Food delivery riders can bring orders directly to your room. Honestly, if it's not too hot, a short walk will get you to a ton of great food options. You can easily walk to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong from here, and to get to Liziba, you can take Line 2. Across the street from the hotel, you get a great mountain view, and you can even spot the Golden Eagle. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves food and exploring!

The hotel's location is excellent. It's less than a ten-minute walk to Jiefangbei and the northern station of the Yangtze River Cableway. If you don't mind walking, you can reach Hongyadong, Chaotianmen Pier, Shibati, and the walking trails within half an hour. However, you should think twice about taking a taxi to these places as traffic can be very heavy. The hotel entrance is quite small, likely due to limited space. As soon as the car arrived, the bellboy promptly helped with the luggage, which was a great touch. Check-in and check-out were both quick, and the service was warm and polite. The room layout was very well-designed; the kids loved the large sofa bed, and the windows were grand. Having two toilets and two bathrooms was very practical. The desk was the most comfortable and convenient I've encountered in a hotel recently. The bedding in the master bedroom was also very comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep. The breakfast tasted good, but the variety was a bit limited.

Our room offered stunning views, was spotlessly clean, and had soft, comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was great, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Eva was warm and courteous throughout, making the check-in process swift and patiently answering all my questions. Her thoughtful service really made a difference. The location is unbeatable—right outside is the riverside promenade on Nanbin Road, ideal for a relaxing stroll, and it's quite close to Longmenhao Old Street and the Yangtze River Cableway. The breakfast offered a great variety, including authentic Chongqing spicy noodles. Whether you're visiting Chongqing for sightseeing or a quick getaway, this hotel is a fantastic choice. A solid 10/10 experience—I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chongqing!

I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property.  Everyone was so nice and kind.  The service was top- notch.  The amenities were plenty and easy accessible.   A few extras that made everything worth it were the full- sized refrigerator, with freezer, the washing machine (for which they provided soap as well), dish washer, stove top, towel drier ( in the washroom) and full sized closet.  The view was so beautiful and calming as well.   Everything about this room was just so nice and exactly what I needed.     I didn’t realize how perfect the location was in relation to almost everything that I wanted to see.   When I figured that out, I just got up every day and walked to everything that I needed or wanted to see.   It was extremely close to a lot of restaurants, malls, local shops and smaller attractions.  I was less than a 10 -15 minute walk to Raffles City Shopping Center where there is a 5 story mall, Movie theatre, roof top attraction with the swing,  SKY WALK and also the river front park with amazing views.  Same distance for Hongyadong, the viewing platform, the Qiansemen Bridge- if you wanted to walk across the bridge at night- I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!  There is so much to see and experience between the hotel and these attractions.  Your days will be filled with fun and adventure.    If ever I have the opportunity to come back to the city, I will very excited to repeat this experience.

My overall experience at Chongqing Yaqi Hotel (Jiefangbei Qixinggang Branch) was outstanding. The service was excellent; the front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and they responded promptly to my WeChat messages. They even returned an item I left behind after check-out, which was a thoughtful touch. As for the facilities, my river-view room had floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Yangtze River, complete with smart lighting and a scenic bathtub. The rooftop infinity pool offered clean water and a stunning city skyline backdrop – perfect for photos. The laundry room and complimentary parking were also very convenient. While the food wasn't a lavish feast, the authentic Chongqing noodles for breakfast were delicious. Paired with the clay pot dishes and the time-honored pea and minced pork noodles available nearby, it truly captured the vibrant street food culture of Chongqing. The hotel offers a quiet retreat in a bustling area, with direct subway access. It's an excellent choice for a stay in the city center that balances design and comfort.

Whenever I visit Chongqing, the Grand Hyatt Fuli is always my top choice. The hotel has a stately and elegant atmosphere, and the soundproofing and bedding in the rooms are excellent. I'd especially like to commend Xiao Wang at the front desk. Her service was incredibly attentive, always considering my personal preferences for my stay. She communicated kindly and thoughtfully, and handled all my requests, big or small, perfectly. Five-star review! The hotel location is unbeatable, right near Jiefangbei. It's super convenient for walking to nearby attractions and finding local food, and the room offers a fantastic river view with a wide field of vision. The room is clean, tidy, and very comfortable to stay in. The hotel also features a self-service laundry room with dryers, which is a lifesaver—you can wash your travel clothes right away instead of lugging a bunch of dirty laundry around. A special shout-out to the front desk staff: our return trip was quite late, and after a friendly chat, they gladly arranged a late check-out for us. Genuinely one of the best hotels I've been to, and for the price it's definitely worth it. You are also located near some great food streets and high-end malls/shops. Almost everything is at a walkable distance, even late at night like 3 AM and you could just walk out and get a quick meal/snack. The Hotel staff was super nice, it is recommended to have WeChat ready and some type of translation app. Most of the times they have translators themselves, so no issues with miscommunication. You can also get your room cleaned daily, use the laundry machine in your own room (totally free). It is definitely worth every penny, even the view is quite amazing since we were on the 37th floor. I could keep adding more and more pros about this place, but won't keep it too long.

The location is unbeatable—right downstairs is the Jiefangbei shopping district, making getting around and sightseeing incredibly convenient. Since I was celebrating my birthday, the hotel prepared a warm, festive room setup in advance, which added a really nice touch of occasion. There was a minor issue with the room upon check-in, but after speaking with the staff, they promptly upgraded me for free. Their attitude was exceptional throughout the process. The butler service was truly impressive—no matter what I needed, they responded swiftly and resolved everything in a timely, attentive, and thoughtful manner. The facilities and overall environment are great. The hotel's considerate service added so much value to this trip. I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting some of the most famous attractions in Chongqing. The room was clean, comfortable, and looked exactly like the pictures. The service was also very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. One feature I really liked was the QR code service. You can scan the code and request personal necessities directly, then simply pick them up from the front desk. It’s completely free and saves you from having to call reception, which I found very convenient. The hotel also has a restaurant serving meals, although I didn’t get the chance to try the food, so I can’t comment on it. Overall, a very comfortable stay with a great location, clean rooms, good service, and some really convenient features. Great value and definitely a place I would recommend when visiting Chongqing.

While it doesn't directly face the busiest part of the night view, the rooms are spacious, the breakfast is excellent, and the service is truly exceptional. The service team, especially Manager Xiaoqiu, genuinely embodies the 'service first' philosophy. It's an older five-star hotel, but the cleanliness is well-maintained. This hotel in Jiefangbei is a true travel gem! Found it on Doubao (haha), and the location is absolutely fantastic. It's within walking distance to Jiefangbei and Bayi Delicious Street, and not far from Hongyadong and Raffles City either. The room was meticulously cleaned, no strange odors, and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The soundproofing was excellent; I could sleep soundly even in the bustling city center. The bathroom had a wet and dry separation, all toiletries were provided, and the hot water supply was strong. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and efficient with check-in, patiently answering all my questions. Overall, the value for money is great. It's definitely worth staying here when visiting Chongqing, and I'll be back next time!
