TTaoxilvxingThe views here are all desert landscapes, exactly as described in the reviews I saw online before booking. The photos are very realistic, and the environment truly feels like something out of an ancient poem. Although it's in the desert and the wind and sand can be intense, my accommodation was spotless. All the essential facilities were provided and easy to use, making my stay very convenient. The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, they even reminded us about easily forgotten items, and once we got there, they gave us great tips on how to explore the area. We had a fantastic time!

GGuest UserThe location is superior, with Baolan Railway, Dingwu Expressway and Yinlan Expressway surrounding the surrounding area, and convenient transportation.
The environment is beautiful, and the Yellow River passes around the village, forming a Jizi Bay. The river water is clear. The Ming Great Wall can be reached in a five-minute walk. From it, you can overlook the entire village and the Shapotou Scenic Area across the Yellow River. The towers and sand sliding center that fly over the Yellow River are clearly visible.
The facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the facilities such as bathtubs, toilets and hair dryers are all good.
The service is excellent. I arrived at more than ten o'clock in the evening, and the front desk guy was still waiting for me in the parking lot. He drove me around the village the next day. The front desk was warm and considerate, and responded to every request. I felt first-class service in the northwest.
The coffee at Kongshan Jiutie is delicious!

GGuest UserThe room was quite large, and the 1.5-foot bed was spacious enough for my child. The room was fully equipped and convenient.
The breakfast was varied and included a complimentary breakfast for my child. The service was friendly and they kept adding more food. It was very convenient and saved time. After a full meal, we headed off to Shapotou!
The front desk lady was attentive and helpful. The complimentary fruit and tea were provided, along with snacks for you to enjoy. It was a great experience!
Zhongwei is beautiful. I'll definitely come back and stay here again!

The front desk staff checked in quickly with a professional and friendly attitude, and also introduced the hotel's special services and surrounding attractions intimately. Welcome fruit is prepared in the room, and the details are full of care.
In terms of catering, the restaurant waiter's detailed introduction and personalized recommendation of the dishes makes the dining experience more pleasant. When leaving the store, the staff not only assisted in carrying luggage, but also presented local special gifts. This warmth makes people feel more cordial.

NNiuniuhaibaoThe hotel is clean and hygienic with a large room. It is right at the entrance of Xiangyang Street. The drivers all know this hotel and say it is good. A children's washing set and red dates are given as a gift when you check in. The location is great. You can eat right at the door after playing. There are fruit shops and specialty shops across the street. You can visit Gaomiao, Drum Tower, and Xiaoling Liangpi nearby. I forgot to take pictures after staying for two nights. It was very generous that they provided unlimited mineral water next to the elevator.

JJago SevatarOf all the camps in the area to choose from I highly recommend staying at this particular one. The manager Wang Shiquan and his team are incredibly good hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. As a foreigner I felt incredibly welcomed and included.
The tents are of really good quality and very roomy. The beds are really comfy too. The activities are also plentiful with quad biking, camel riding and sandboarding. Shapotou is very close by too with much to do.
Ningxia is definitely an underrated province and I highly recommend anyone to come and see it and experience the kind hospitality of it's people from this camp.

GGuest UserThe Desert Star Hotel is truly worth a dedicated trip, making it the best base for a family desert adventure in the Tengger Desert!
The accommodation completely subverted my impression of a desert hotel. With its sealed, dust-proof design, the room was spotless. There was 24-hour hot water and soft bedding, making it comfortable despite the large temperature fluctuations between day and night. Toiletries and kids' slippers were all well-provided.
There were plenty of activities for the kids: free sandboarding, dune walks, and a professional stargazing explanation every night. My child was fully immersed in the desert and starry sky, even seeing the Milky Way with their own eyes, which was incredibly rewarding.
The biggest surprise was the complementary travel photography! The photographer was incredibly patient and great at engaging with children, gently guiding us throughout without forcing poses. The photos were taken during the golden hour of sunset, with endless yellow sand against the orange glow of dusk, creating an amazing atmosphere. The candid shots of family interactions, running, and watching the sunset were incredibly natural and heartfelt. The original photos were super clear, each one a precious souvenir, preserving our rare family desert memories.

1 ””Shaliwa” is located in the Alxa Tengger Desert Campground. During this trip, we stayed in a 180° zero-pressure sand view bed room by the lake. It has an independent cabin and large floor-to-ceiling glass windows. It is built by the lake and has an excellent view!
2》The surrounding area of Shaliwa is full of various camping bases, but Shaliwa should be the best homestay in this area.
3》The B&B provides butler-style service. Add WeChat before check-in to provide check-in guidance. Because the B&B is located in the desert, the B&B provides free pick-up and drop-off from the B&B to the Desert Manor.
4》Desert entertainment items for tourists around the homestay: desert surfing, camel riding, karting, etc. Also, hiking alone in the desert is super cool.
4》B&B breakfast buffet, not very good, but full. For lunch and dinner, you can scan the QR code to order by yourself, and you can eat as you go until nine o'clock in the evening.
5. The B&B is located in the desert. Sunrise, sunset, and stargazing are all good, and there are stargazing classes at night.
A very pleasant stay experience!

YYoulixiaojieI stayed during the National Day holiday. They offered pick-up service from the station, and the service was quite good. They generally met all my needs as mentioned in the group chat. The room even had underfloor heating, which was fantastic! I used the air conditioning during the day and the underfloor heating at night. Showering was convenient and clean. The breakfast was plentiful, and the noodles I ordered at the restaurant for lunch (78 yuan) were a large portion, enough for a family of three, and very delicious. The 198 yuan hot pot dinner was honestly quite average; I wouldn't recommend it. The night I stayed, there was a strong desert wind, and the screws on the room's support frame were probably loose, as it rattled for most of the night. I contacted the manager at 1 am, and they responded promptly and were very helpful. I hope the hotel can fix it as soon as possible and check the other rooms, as I plan to go again next year and hope I won't encounter the same problem. Finally, I hope this place continues to improve! I hope they can add more and more activities next year, and I will definitely go again.
