Everything was excellent, and the service was exceptionally satisfactory. The public breakfast restaurant was particularly comfortable and the service was personalized. The only drawback was the lack of fast charging in the entire parking lot, with only three slow charging stations. Many electric vehicle models couldn't be charged there and had to be driven 8 kilometers to the township power supply station to charge.

Guest UserThe location is superior, with Baolan Railway, Dingwu Expressway and Yinlan Expressway surrounding the surrounding area, and convenient transportation.
The environment is beautiful, and the Yellow River passes around the village, forming a Jizi Bay. The river water is clear. The Ming Great Wall can be reached in a five-minute walk. From it, you can overlook the entire village and the Shapotou Scenic Area across the Yellow River. The towers and sand sliding center that fly over the Yellow River are clearly visible.
The facilities are excellent, the rooms are spacious, and the facilities such as bathtubs, toilets and hair dryers are all good.
The service is excellent. I arrived at more than ten o'clock in the evening, and the front desk guy was still waiting for me in the parking lot. He drove me around the village the next day. The front desk was warm and considerate, and responded to every request. I felt first-class service in the northwest.
The coffee at Kongshan Jiutie is delicious!

The room was unique, the bed was comfortable, and the receptionist was very helpful, even picking us up in the evening. However, I have to complain about some of the facilities and amenities. First, the soaking tub on the terrace was huge, but when we tried to fill it at night, the water level was surprisingly low. After an hour and a half, it only reached our ankles. At this rate, it would take until midnight to fill it, and by then the water would be completely cold, so we had to give up. Then, when we turned off the lights, the room was filled with a green glow, which was terrifying. I've never seen an emergency exit warning light installed in a room before. Also, the bay window was so small, and there was no bedding, making it impossible to sit or watch TV. The curtains on the bed were also problematic; when they came down, they were right in front of our faces, forcing us to wear a veil to sleep. Finally, the air conditioner unit was right above the lounge chair on the terrace, making it noisy, leaking, and completely soaked, rendering it unusable. I strongly suggest improvements to these issues!

KaixindepingzidepingziThe room was clean and sanitary. I stayed here for three days. Breakfast is also good. There are steamed cereals, Western pastries, cold dishes and hot dishes every day. They are very child-friendly and basically not spicy. Yogurt, pudding, milk, soy milk and porridge are available. Diagonally opposite the hotel is Xiangyang Street (BBQ Street).
The hotel is also conveniently located to several attractions in the city. It only takes 3-5 minutes to walk to the Drum Tower and Gaomiao. There is a park behind Chairman Mao, and across the park is the Gaomiao. Zhongwei Museum is a 6-minute taxi ride away.
The hotel staff are all warm and polite. I left my mobile phone charging cable behind when I left. The cleaning staff found it in time and the lady at the front desk picked it up for me and brought it back down. She also gave souvenirs to the children. I’m really happy! The child asked why he should stay at Guyu Jasmine Hotel next time he comes to Zhongwei.

TaoxilvxingThe views here are all desert landscapes, exactly as described in the reviews I saw online before booking. The photos are very realistic, and the environment truly feels like something out of an ancient poem. Although it's in the desert and the wind and sand can be intense, my accommodation was spotless. All the essential facilities were provided and easy to use, making my stay very convenient. The service was excellent, and the owner was incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, they even reminded us about easily forgotten items, and once we got there, they gave us great tips on how to explore the area. We had a fantastic time!

The room was quite large, and the 1.5-foot bed was spacious enough for my child. The room was fully equipped and convenient.
The breakfast was varied and included a complimentary breakfast for my child. The service was friendly and they kept adding more food. It was very convenient and saved time. After a full meal, we headed off to Shapotou!
The front desk lady was attentive and helpful. The complimentary fruit and tea were provided, along with snacks for you to enjoy. It was a great experience!
Zhongwei is beautiful. I'll definitely come back and stay here again!

Highly recommend the Hampton by Hilton Zhongwei! Our stay was excellent.
The hotel's location is super convenient, right in the city center, making it easy to get around and explore. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, and check-in was quick and efficient. Our room was spotless and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great, so we slept really well. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Overall, it's fantastic value for money. Check-out and invoicing were also very fast, and they even helped us register our license plate for free parking.
It's perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Zhongwei!

The room was very clean and well-equipped with air conditioning, floor heating, an electric water heater, and a humidifier. The bathtub even came with a disposable bath liner. They provided plenty of bottled water too. Both breakfast and dinner were extensive, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors – really excellent! They also had sandboarding tools for the kids to play with. During the day, you could ride camels, and there were many activities in the evening, including a bonfire party, fireworks, and a stargazing class. It was a very satisfying trip.

Overall, this hotel is quite worth staying at. I really liked the hotel's design, ambiance, and facilities, and the room was also good. I booked a room with a hot tub, and the cleanliness was excellent.
However, the service and management were clearly weak points. On the day of check-in, the hotel was fully booked, and the lobby, which isn't very large, was crowded. When we first arrived at the parking lot, there was only one older gentleman working, and it took a while to find someone to help with luggage, clearly indicating a staff shortage. During check-in, there wasn't much proactive information provided; staff only told me things after I asked. Compared to other hotels of similar standing I've stayed at before, there was a noticeable gap in service professionalism.
The restaurant gave a similar impression. The staff's attitude wasn't bad, but the service felt inexperienced. The food itself was generally mediocre, though the beef skewers at dinner were surprisingly delicious 😂. Interestingly, some of the older staff members around the hotel were very diligent, constantly cleaning and bustling about. So, my feeling after staying wasn't that there was an issue with staff attitude, but rather that the hotel's staffing, training, and management haven't kept up with its excellent facilities.
This is quite a shame because the hotel itself is really well-done.
What deserves special praise are the hotel's activities; the explanations were very thorough and professional, and this part of the experience was excellent. Coupled with the desert environment and the starry sky, I think it's still worth staying for those who come specifically to experience the desert.
If you only look at the design, room, cleanliness, and overall environment, I really like it. If the management and service professionalism can be improved later on, the overall hotel experience should be much better.

YayunnanfengDouble Buffet Dinner: The dinner spread was incredibly rich and absolutely picture-perfect, with delicious food.
Facilities: The hotel's facilities are comprehensive, with a wide array of parent-child activities. The Star-gazing Valley at night, in particular, offered a truly enjoyable ambiance.
Hygiene: The hotel's cleanliness was decent. We stayed in a cabin, and I felt the windows weren't particularly bright, especially the French windows, which could use some improvement.
Environment: The Star Hotel's unique charm meant every scenic spot was incredibly photogenic. It truly lives up to its reputation as a hard-to-book hotel.
Service: The staff were very responsive to all requests, especially the customer service, which was incredibly attentive. They would send WeChat messages at every interval, which was a very thoughtful touch.
Overall Rating: I've given the Star Hotel a 5-star rating this time. The stay was quite good, but there were a few shortcomings. For instance, the infinity pool water was extremely cold, even when we went at noon when the sun was strongest. The cold water prevented many people from enjoying it. Additionally, the changing rooms at the infinity pool need improvement; there's essentially no place to change clothes. Overall, the other activities were great, but it was too hot during the day, so there was practically no time for sandboarding. Only the hour between 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM for sandboarding in the comfortable zone was particularly enjoyable. Therefore, while the value for money at this hotel isn't high, the experience itself is excellent. Many aspects, such as the panoramic restaurant, the infinity pool, and some evening parent-child activities, are definitely worth experiencing.
