"When I came to Yokohama during my trip to Japan, I chose a hotel near Minatomirai. The check-in experience was good, and it's not far from the station. There's a convenience store downstairs, and water dispensers and ironing facilities in the hallway. The breakfast was filling and delicious. It's a great place to stay while traveling. Getting to Chinatown or Yokohama Station is also quite convenient."

"Hotel was clean and nice although a bit small. They allowed early check in. A bit of a walk to Ueno station but still alright if taken the correct exit."

"Stayed for two nights with my mum as it was her birthday trip. We had reserved a room with bunk beds but were initially given a room with just one bed. They changed it after we went back to reception and showed our confirmation. They also photocopied our passports. It would have been helpful if reception had explained the different levels on the 2nd and 4th floors between the new and main buildings. The amenities were great, with good pillow options, a hot pool and a nice breakfast. Despite a few hiccups at check in, I would still recommend this place to others!"

"The location is fantastic, in one of Tokyo's most vibrant areas (I've stayed near Tokyo Station before, but Shinjuku feels much livelier). Kabukicho is just across the street and a short walk away. There are tons of shops nearby, all within walking distance: McDonald's, convenience stores, drugstores, Ichiran Ramen, Kani Doraku, Muji, Uniqlo, Montbell, and more. Transportation is incredibly convenient, with direct Limousine Bus service from the airport. This trip, besides visiting city attractions like Senso-ji Temple, Skytree, and Tokyo Tower, I also went to more distant places like Kamakura, Mount Fuji, Disneyland, and Summerland. Except for Disneyland, which requires passing through Tokyo Station first, all other destinations were reachable with at most one transfer. The hotel entrance is small, and check-in is on B1. There's a water dispenser and vending machines next to the elevator lobby. The overall feel is compact and clean, and the rooms are the same, with excellent views. I booked it last minute, and it was over a thousand yen a night. Although my heart was bleeding, it seems this is pretty much the standard price. My only disappointment was that they didn't approve my late check-out request on the last day. The next time I visit Tokyo, I'd choose this hotel again under similar circumstances."

"Plus: - The location is absolutely the best! The metro/JR station is conveniently located about 300-400m away. - It's on the same line as the Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport. - Tokyo Tower is within walking distance. - You get a clear view of Tokyo Tower from the rooftop. Minus: - Honestly, the room is quite small; it was a real effort just to pray (LOL). - Only two thin pillows were provided. - No complimentary drinking water or refills, but there's hot water available in the lobby. - A bit pricey for this size of accommodation."

"This hotel was a fantastic find! The large public bath on the second floor was super convenient, making it unnecessary to shower in the room and keeping the room dry. A 14.8 sqm room was perfectly adequate for one person. All rooms face south, so the futons get sun exposure daily, and you can open the windows for ventilation, which is a big plus. The mini-fridge has an on/off switch, so you can turn it off to reduce noise and energy consumption if you don't need it. The room was brand new and odor-free. If you don't leave your room before 10 AM, they won't clean it that day, but you can leave your trash bin outside your door for staff to empty. No water is provided in the room, but there's a Lawson and 7-Eleven within 10 meters downstairs. On the first floor, you can self-service toiletries, tea bags, and ice cream bars. Electric bicycles are available for rent at the entrance. Getting to Tokyo and Shinjuku is easy, but make sure to take the rapid or limited express trains on the subway, as the local trains that stop at every station can be a bit of a drag. For 390, the room rate includes breakfast and two hot spring baths a day. It's less than a 10-minute walk from Omiya Station. The east exit has Takashimaya, while the west exit has Sogo and 0101 (with a large Montbell on the first floor where you can get tax refunds). There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Windsor Racket is about 10 meters to the left in front of the hotel, though they don't have many new arrivals. Inside the station, you'll find Lumine and Lumine 2, which includes Beams. Isomaru Suisan is just 50 meters outside the west exit of the station. Omiya is also a Shinkansen station, making it very convenient to go north to Karuizawa. It only took about an hour from the hotel to the Karuizawa Outlet. The station itself is huge and often sells delicious and reasonably priced local strawberries, tomatoes, and apples. There's also a branch of the famous Sembikiya strawberry cream sandwich shop inside the station. The hotel's breakfast was incredibly rich and satisfying, mainly Japanese-style with plenty of soups and dishes. The value for money is exceptional. They also offer unlimited free takeaway coffee every day. I feel like this is the most cost-effective hotel I've stayed at in Japan. Staying for a full week costs about the same as one night in the city. It's an absolute steal!"

"I used to stay in budget chain hotels whenever I visited Japan. This time, I saw a good deal for this hotel in Tokyo and decided to book it. Location: I've always loved Roppongi, and this hotel is very close, within walking distance of Roppongi Hills. It's also conveniently located near two subway lines, so it's not too far from the station. Amenities: There's a 7-Eleven right downstairs, and the entire street is lined with restaurants. The Afuri ramen place I've always wanted to try is also nearby, along with two larger supermarkets. Plus, the most popular brunch spot across from Roppongi Hills is close by. Basically, all your dining and shopping needs are covered. The hotel itself has a great design. The room isn't huge, but for Tokyo, it's a decent size. The layout is very well-designed, so it doesn't feel cramped at all. The soundproofing is excellent, making it very quiet, and I slept incredibly comfortably. In the afternoon, you can enjoy complimentary beer, and it's really good. If the price is right next time, I'll definitely stay here again."

"Excellent! Facilities: A very new hotel with a modern, youthful style. There's even a kitchen in the common area. The single room isn't huge, but it's cleverly designed and doesn't feel cramped. Location: Superb! It's just 30 seconds from Ginza Line Kyobashi Station and 2 minutes from Asakusa Line Takaracho Station Exit A4, which offers direct access to Haneda Airport. You can walk to the heart of Ginza, Yurakucho, and Nihonbashi in about 10 minutes. For a run, Hibiya Park and the Imperial Palace are roughly 1.5 km away. A quick tip: if you have large luggage when heading back to Haneda, avoid Exit A4 at Takaracho Station; navigating the stairs and crossing platforms will be exhausting. Service: Reliable! There's a Chinese staff member at the front desk who is very flexible and accommodating. Receiving Amazon JP packages was incredibly smooth; they even delivered the last package directly to my room, which I really appreciated!"

"Aside from its proximity to Chinatown, there's nothing else commendable about this hotel. Parking costs extra, and if their lot is full, you have to use a paid parking lot nearby. The facilities are old, but the cleanliness is good. The front desk staff's attitude is below the average standard for Japanese hotels. On a side note, I highly recommend the Hunan restaurant in the small alley off to the side of Chinatown – it's very authentic."

"Excellent location, close to station, shops and supermarkets. The spotless communal kitchen was a mind blowing, equipped with top of the range appliances. I also impressed by Le cruses’s dutch oven in different colours! I wish we stayed longer so we can actually cook meals there. Chilled filter water tank was a great service. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Happy hour freee beer was a nice touch. Only negative experience was noise from next room through the wall. The wall must be thin and not sound proofed so that we could hear TV very loud and even yawning. The worst part was we were woken up by the couple having a loud sex midnight and couldn’t sleep all night! We asked to change the room next day and they were very helpful for organise a bigger corner room for us which was perfect. We would definitely come back but will choose a room carefully. Otherwise the best hostel we have ever stayed! Thank you."
