Given a room on the ground floor next to the swimming pool. Unfortunately the room had a lot of mould and dampness. I do not recommend taking rooms on lower floors. However, the hotel was extremely kind and when I reported the problem they kindly offered me an upgrade to a room on a higher floor which I really appreciated. The staff is very kind and helps with difficult situations. The restaurant is unfortunately not very good, I would not recommend eating there. They do cocktails well.

The location is very strategic. However, based on our experience staying there for several days, the room service did not change the bed linen set at all — it was only tidied up. This happened even though we stayed for more than two nights.

Additionally, when we borrowed dining utensils from the hotel, after we finished using them and left the room, we expected them to be cleaned and removed since they were already used. Unfortunately, they were neither cleaned nor taken out of the room.

On the positive side, the security, receptionist, and even the engineering staff were very friendly and helpful.

However, it is quite disappointing regarding the room cleanliness. The amenities that we used from the first day were not refilled until we checked out, even though we extended our stay and paid the full price as a new room booking. We honestly felt a bit disappointed, and on the last day we finally complained to the receptionist.

It is unfortunate, as the amenities were only complete at the beginning. When extending the stay, they were not refilled, and slippers were also not provided.

Love the facilities and location, 3min walk to the beach and so many things nearby! It’s a happening street so no worries about walking back late at night. 

They provide water in glass bottles, you can request for more for free as well. They gave us welcome coupons for discounted food and a free drink, the restaurant prices are also very affordable. 

All the staff were also very helpful and friendly, all in all a very safe stay for 2 girls:)

I had a pleasant stay at Aston Denpasar Hotel & Convention Center and would happily recommend it to others visiting Denpasar. The hotel is centrally located, making it a great base for both business and leisure activities. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities provided. I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which offered a generous variety of both local and international dishes. The hotel’s facilities, including the swimming pool and meeting rooms, were well-maintained and added to the overall experience. For the price, Aston Denpasar offers great value and a welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to staying here again on my next trip to Bali.

Amazing Stay at Aston Hotel Batam
Our experience at Aston Hotel Batam was truly amazing. From the moment of arrival, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, always ensuring that every guest felt satisfied and well taken care of. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more memorable.
The breakfast food was exceptional, offering a wide variety of choices to suit every taste. From freshly baked pastries and tropical fruits to local Indonesian dishes and international favorites, every item was delicious and beautifully presented. The buffet was well organized, and the staff made sure everything was replenished promptly, creating a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience each morning.
The rest of the food throughout the stay was equally impressive, with so many tasty options to explore. Each meal showcased quality ingredients and thoughtful preparation.
The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing space to unwind after exploring the city. The location of the hotel was also very convenient—close to many popular tourist spots, making it easy to travel around Batam.
Overall, Aston Hotel Batam exceeded expectations in every way. It’s an amazing place with amazing people. This hotel will definitely be recommended to friends and family planning to visit Batam, Indonesia

Aston Inn Gideon Batam – Great Value Stay  
Located in Nagoya, just steps from the market and Batam City Square, the hotel is surrounded by massage parlors, dining options, shops, and beauty services. The twin-bed room is spacious enough for two large suitcases, with handy amenities like toothbrushes, sandals, mineral water, and coffee/tea. Breakfast offers a wide spread — porridge, you tiao, roti prata, nasi lemak, and a live egg station. At around 60 SGD per night, it’s excellent value for the comfort and convenience provided.

Mixed feeling
Upon arrival the initial room assigned was a major letdown, which immediately affected our comfort level. More concerning were the cleanliness issues: we found a stain on the bed linens pillow blanket and the sofa.
On the positive side, the room was very large and spacious, offering plenty of room to move around.
Fortunately, the front desk staff were understanding and professional when we raised these concerns. Manager Arry promptly arranged for us to move to a different room. The second room was much cleaner and significantly improved our stay (I forget to take picture of the second room).
While our initial experience was poor due to the condition of the first room, we appreciate the hotel's quick and effective resolution of the issue. 
Breakfast not bad, morethan enough to fill our stomach. For the price we've paid I think worth it, hotel also have afternoon tea on lobby for hotel guests every 5-7pm if I am correct. And hotel also connect to Epiwalk mall, a small mall but there is a supermarket on B1 and plenty restaurant.
Overall The Grove Suite by Grand Aston is recommended especially for family or business.

I stayed for two nights. Unfortunately, the room was extremely dim and smell of smoke, even though I had specifically requested a non-smoking room. It seemed like they tried to mask the smoke with air freshener, but the combination made it worse. Although it was supposed to be a non-smoking floor, there were ashtrays provided in the room and near the lift, which directly contradicts the no-smoking policy. To add to the discomfort, I found two baby cockroaches in my room — surprising and unpleasant, especially considering the room was on the 18th floor. The only redeeming part of my stay was the excellent customer service — the staff were friendly and helpful throughout.
