The room was clean, comfortable, and quite luxurious. Even during Chinese New Year, the price was very reasonable, not expensive at all. It's very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and not far from the subway station and Xiamen Railway Station. There's a convenient seafood restaurant right next to the hotel on the street. The hotel itself has a fancy restaurant, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. It's definitely the top choice for a trip to Xiamen.

I rarely write reviews unless I have a bad experience, but this time, Haiyue truly exceeded my expectations. The hotel is nestled within a beautiful garden, feeling like a huge park, and there's a shuttle service, though you sometimes have to wait a bit. The room design is very Southeast Asian, giving off a lovely resort vibe—I really liked it. They even provided thoughtful amenities for my baby, like toiletries and a bed rail. The water villas (水苑) reminded me of a more affordable version of the Mandarin Oriental Sanya; it was very pleasant to take a walk there in the evenings. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast were delicious. It's very close to the beach, and while the scenery isn't quite as stunning as Sanya, I felt the service here was much better than Sanya hotels. In Sanya, no one helps with your luggage, but here, check-in was quick and check-out was super easy. I regret not booking an extra night, the experience was so good. There aren't many dining options nearby, but getting a taxi is convenient.

Also, the kids' play area had a minor safety concern that needs attention, but the staff were very responsible in discouraging some of the older children from misbehaving there.

We stayed in a family room for four nights, and here's our experience:

First, the hotel's location is excellent. It's very close to many attractions, with taxi rides costing around ten yuan, and only about twenty yuan for slightly further places. We visited Bailuzhou Park, and the Pigeon Square there was fantastic – our two boys had a blast feeding the pigeons. Zhongshan Park is also very close, with beautiful scenery and a nice atmosphere as many locals relax there.

The Botanical Garden is even closer. Although the straight-line distance is short, it's a bit far to walk, so we took a taxi. However, a taxi involves going through a tunnel and making a big detour. If you walk, you have to use a separate underground passage to get to the Botanical Garden.

Second, the overall service at the hotel was good. Staff would help us with our luggage when we went out, and also with loading and unloading it when taking a taxi.

Third, the hotel's breakfast. The variety of dishes was decent, but there were too few stir-fried options, and the taste wasn't great – perhaps due to differences in northern and southern palates.

There was local specialty peanut soup, which was just so-so; thread noodle paste, which I didn't try; Rou Yan (swallow dumplings), also didn't try; and satay noodles, which were too bland, but acceptable after adding condiments (chili powder, soy sauce, etc.).

What I personally thought tasted good: the fish balls were delicious, the glutinous rice dumplings (Rou Zong) were excellent, and the stir-fried water caltrops were nice.

Fourth, the hotel provided two tickets to the Botanical Garden and electric cart tickets, which was a thoughtful touch.

Fifth, the cleaning staff (Ayi) were also very good. They would proactively greet us every day and ask about our needs, which was very considerate.

The weather on the day I arrived was absolutely gorgeous, putting me in a fantastic mood. The blue skies and ocean were just perfect! I really loved the gentle sea breeze and the sound of the waves. As I was traveling solo and wanted a peaceful New Year, this trip was incredibly satisfying (^^).

The room itself was also very spacious, bright, and clean.

I asked them to clean the room first thing in the morning when I headed out, and they were very prompt and thorough. It was a great experience.

The breakfast 🍳 selection was also very diverse. Enjoying breakfast 🥞 while looking out at the pool was a lovely way to spend my New Year's trip!

The ocean views from this location are truly therapeutic 🌊.

They offer scheduled shuttle bus service for airport transfers and a tourist bus from the hotel to Dongdu Cruise Terminal. On the morning I left, I needed to go to Nanputuo Temple, and the bus was conveniently going in that direction, so they dropped me off near Yanwu Bridge. The manager at the hotel lobby even reminded me about it! Very thoughtful service!

This might be the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed in! The hotel is quite large, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. The front desk staff and other employees were all incredibly welcoming, creating a very friendly and warm atmosphere. I stayed in the Tianfeng Building, which had a distinct Southern Fujian (Min-nan) style, and the room was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping auntie was very diligent and efficient.

The hotel also boasts its own lovely garden, perfect for a refreshing morning stroll. The Tianfeng Building is even more impressive, with its own playground that my child absolutely loved and played in every day, completely losing track of time. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, enjoyed by both me and my child. Plus, since I booked online, I even received complimentary Starbucks coffee and cake! It's hard not to give it a five-star rating!

The lobby's warm tones made me feel incredibly cozy the moment I walked in. The front desk staff were professional and efficient with check-in, and they thoughtfully recommended nearby restaurants and attractions. The hotel is less than 10 meters from the subway station, which is super convenient. The guest room elevators are fast, and the rooms are spacious and bright. The half-length windows offer a wide view, and the sheets and duvet covers feel very comfortable and have no strange odors. The in-room mini-fridge, humidifier, and charging outlets are all well-equipped, and the bedside reading light has just the right brightness, perfect for reading before bed. The bathroom has a wet and dry separation, so water doesn't splash everywhere when you shower, and the sink faucet has a steady stream with quick hot water. The self-service laundry room has fully automatic washers and dryers that are incredibly simple to operate. This hotel offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit with friends! Oh, and there's a big park nearby that's really great for photos; it's quite popular and very relaxing.

This hotel is a prime example of exceptional value, exceeding its price point. The public areas are modern and well-maintained, creating a quiet and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are exceptionally soundproof, completely uninterrupted by outside noise. The bathrooms are spacious and bright, with a particularly pleasant and comfortable bathtub. The TV system supports screen projection from your phone, making it a pleasant experience to soak in the tub and watch TV in your room. The breakfast selection exceeded expectations, featuring fresh, authentic ingredients and local specialties, a thoughtful touch. The parking lot is well-planned and ample, making it extremely friendly for self-drive travelers. The entire staff demonstrated professionalism and responded promptly and accurately to requests. I especially commend Cecilia, the Guest Relations Officer. I was very satisfied with the room arrangement and how attentive she was to my needs. I will definitely stay here again. The hotel is conveniently located, with a wide selection of restaurants and convenience stores. This stay was flawless and offered excellent value for money.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel entrance, service staff will assist you with unloading your luggage and checking you in. The whole hotel is filled with the relaxing aroma of tea. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Welcome snacks and drinks are provided in the room to entertain visiting travelers. During your stay, all staff members can take the initiative to greet the guests, reflecting the hotel culture with solid training. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. Except for the location under the flight path and a little noise from airplanes flying over, the rest of the sound insulation is very good. It is a 5-minute walk to Huli Pedestrian Street, where there are many snacks and various shops to meet your needs outside. At night, there is a night market with many stalls. There are many cultural and creative spaces behind the hotel. There are various personalized restaurants such as McDonald's, KFC, and Starbucks nearby. It is recommended for travelers who don't like to live in tourist areas.

We had a wonderful 5-day, 4-night stay at Haiyue Villa, and the experience was excellent – both the seniors and the kids were happy. We booked a package for a waterfront family room in the Aqua Villa area, which had direct access to the pool, making water play incredibly convenient. Traveling in late September, off-peak, meant very few people, and the Aqua Villa area was especially serene; having a whole section of the pool to ourselves was incredibly pleasant. With blue skies, white clouds, and lush greenery everywhere, it was picturesque and full of tropical charm.

**Dining:**
Our first meal was at the Xiangcha Palace restaurant. The Shacha Hot Pot had a rich flavor, and the taro rice was wonderfully smooth. We had the buffet lunch at the Mediterranean Restaurant in the main building, where we'd reserved a window seat overlooking the infinity pool. The food selection was quite extensive, with freshly sliced salmon, and I particularly enjoyed being able to customize my own 'Four Fruit Soup.'

Breakfast was mostly at the Aqua Villa Cafe, which was quiet and less crowded. We did go to the main building's breakfast one day, which offered a wider variety.

There's a complimentary afternoon tea every day, and we tried three different types: The floating afternoon tea, which you book a day in advance and is delivered to your room. The buffet afternoon tea at the Aqua Villa Cafe, which was themed like a surfboard. And the one at Tianyue Pavilion on the 6th floor of the main building, offering sea views and outdoor seating.

**Activities:**
We spent most of our water play time at the Aqua Villa. The nearby Little Egret Paradise had a very small slide, but we didn't go to the main building's pool. We participated in the 'Plant Mobilization' activity, where we found 9 types of plants to redeem prizes. We rode the garden mini-train and the rainbow pony cart; the latter is only available on weekends and is an outsourced, chargeable activity. We also experienced the indoor play area, the Little Dolphin Kids' Club, and the wooden boardwalk. We borrowed sand-digging tools and went through a small hotel gate to dig for sand at Huangcuo Beach opposite.

**Service:**
I especially want to praise the staff's service. The Aqua Villa butler, Xiao Lei, contacted us a day in advance, sending hotel information and activity introductions, and was very enthusiastic and thoughtful in answering our questions. She arranged for us to stay in Building 8, close to the Aqua Villa Cafe, which made getting around very convenient. Upon arrival, the room was already equipped with a bed rail, a step stool, a child's toilet seat, and a dehumidifier. They also upgraded our package's buffet lunch so we could enjoy it daily throughout our stay.

The staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly and kind to children. There's a buggy service for transfers between the Aqua Villa, the main building, and other hotel areas, and requests for a buggy were responded to very quickly. One day, my child's sunglasses went missing. We thought they might have been left at the concierge. When we called, they said they hadn't found them, but promised to check with colleagues in other areas. They called back quickly to say they had found them.

Although there was a sign on our room's balcony stating 'no lifeguard or staff on duty at the pool,' there was always a lifeguard patrolling the poolside, who even proactively helped us inflate our own swimming vests with an electric air pump.

The hotel is right next to West Lake Park, with exclusive access to a boardwalk along the lake. Our lake-view room offered stunning views of the vast lake; we could see people exercising by the lake in the morning, and the lights of West Lake at night were beautiful. It's also within walking distance of the bustling Sanfang Qixiang food street, making it a peaceful oasis that's still conveniently located.

Choosing the C&D Hotel was definitely the right decision for my trip to Fuzhou! The location is absolutely perfect; it's just a ten-minute walk to Sanfang Qixiang. After an evening stroll, I could just wander back to the hotel without any hassle. The hotel garden is lush and green, and taking a walk there in the morning with the fresh air really brightened my mood.

The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was so soft that I slept soundly until I naturally woke up. The service was the most pleasant surprise. When checking in, the front desk attendant proactively asked if we wanted to upgrade our room and thoughtfully recommended local snack shops frequented by residents – even more useful than any guide! 

The breakfast offered incredibly authentic local snacks, and the Fujian cuisine at the Chinese restaurant was simply stunning. I highly recommend this hotel, whether you're traveling for business or with kids. Next time I'm in Fuzhou, I'll definitely stay here again!

The hotel's location is excellent, with a private walkway directly into West Lake Park, giving it a very resort-like feel. Getting around by taxi is also convenient, as most places aren't far.

The hotel's cleanliness is also commendable. I initially thought the street-facing window was noisy, but then I was reminded that I might not have closed it properly.

The service is great too; they really care about the guest experience. Any issues I raised were addressed very quickly.

Breakfast exceeded my expectations! It was fantastic, with local specialties. After staying at the Hilton the next day, I realized just how good value for money this hotel's breakfast was. Truly impressive.

Oh, and the lobby manager is a very gentle girl. Her business card is still in my luggage so I haven't seen her name, but I definitely want to commend her for her thoughtful service.

🌟 **Mawei Yihao Hotel: A Five-Star Experience**

**Location**: Conveniently close to Fuzhou South Station (a 10-minute taxi ride), offering direct views of the Minjiang River. Enjoy the golden sunset clouds at night 🌌 and the majestic confluence of three rivers in the morning.

**Heartwarming Service**:
- The front desk staff are warm and professional. Upon check-in, we received complimentary local snacks 🍪 and warm tea.
- Our room had a handwritten note and fresh fruit 🍊, showcasing 'mom-like' thoughtful details.
- 24-hour complimentary late-night snacks! You must try Fuzhou's **Shu Yu Fen Gan** (cooked fish with rice vermicelli) and Rou Yan Lao Hua (wonton soup with rice noodles)—truly comforting for both body and soul.

**Facilities & Amenities**:
- The rooms are minimalist and elegant with excellent soundproofing 🌙. The bedding is comfortable and promotes restful sleep.
- The fifth floor features a gym and laundry room (with high-end equipment that's regularly sanitized).
- The lobby bar offers complimentary coffee ☕️ and snacks all day, perfect for both business and leisure.

**Highlight**: 
”From the spectacular fireworks display by the river view window to a late-night bowl of authentic Fen Gan, this place is more than just a stopover; it's a 'home away from home' on the banks of the Minjiang River. Even the hairdryer at check-out was an old-school, warm type—a treasure for those who appreciate details!”

I stay in dozens to one or two hundred hotels every year, and few staff are as serious and considerate as Liyuzhou Hotel. Everyone feels that they really like their job and treat guests as if they are at home. This also proves that The management ability of the superior leaders is top-notch. Although I only stayed for one night, I felt everyone's enthusiasm. Like Master He from the battery car and Xiaoliang Xiaoliu, the housekeeper, were serious and responsible. Special thanks to Master Lin from the battery car and the driver who took me to the stadium. , serious and dedicated to work.

The hotel has a good environment and is very quiet. When you come in, you can see several security guards who will help with luggage. The service is really good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and introduces the hotel and surrounding attractions and food. The breakfast is also very rich and tastes good. The room is clean and tidy. , the bath water volume is sufficient and the pressure is high, the switch operation is simple and convenient, the air conditioning cooling effect is good, the whole experience is great value for money, I will choose this hotel again when I go to Fuzhou!

Staying here over Chinese New Year wasn't a great experience, and overall, I wouldn't recommend it. We booked mountain view rooms in the Xinyue Building, hoping for more comfort as we were traveling with elderly family and children. However, they couldn't even put our two rooms on the same floor, and both rooms had partial views. The second-floor room didn't even have a garden view 😟.

**Facilities:** Just look at the plant by the bathroom sink (as shown in the picture) – it's so dirty, yet they haven't replaced it, which shows the hotel's lack of attention to detail. We also found items left by previous guests in the corner of the sofa, indicating poor cleaning. The room's blackout curtains don't work well; you have to pull them extremely tight in the middle to block out light. All dining and activities are in the Tianfeng Building, and it's quite an inconvenient, winding walk from the new building. The room included an afternoon tea, which was a buffet with selections similar to breakfast.

**Environment:** This is probably the only redeeming quality – it's very close to the scenic area and commercial street. However, during Chinese New Year, fireworks and firecrackers went off all night until midnight, so if you're a light sleeper, don't come here during this period.

**Service:** The dining service was generally a bit chaotic. One evening, we had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, and the paper menu they gave us had already been used by someone else. We understand hotels want to save money, so we marked our selections clearly and confirmed them with the staff, making sure they didn't mix up our order with the previous guest's. After ordering, we weren't given a bill to confirm our selections. Sure enough, our food eventually came out wrong! They added dishes from the previous guest's order to ours. After we pointed it out, they corrected it, but not once did they apologize. The staff members were also stone-faced, as if we were in the wrong 🥲. We understand it's busy during Chinese New Year, and mistakes happen, but that level of service attitude is just ridiculous. We've stayed in many hotels during holidays, but never encountered anything like this.

**Hotel Activities:** For the parent-child activities, you have to choose between sugar painting and paper cutting, and you need to leave a five-star review on a popular app to participate. This is the first time I've seen a hotel demand a good review in such a way. These activities are also in the Tianfeng Building, and if we hadn't stumbled upon them ourselves, we wouldn't have even known they existed.

Dahongpao Villa Experience: Wuyi Mountain Water Vacation Tour
Every detail of the experience of staying at Dahongpao Villa is delightful. The guest room design cleverly combines Chinese elegance with modern comfort. The furniture in log color is matched with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows. When you open the window in the morning, you can see the misty tea mountain scenery. The tea element experience of the hotel is also to look at the details of operation everywhere, tea fragrance, welcome tea, Dahongpao Villa’s homemade tea book, Kung Fu tea sets and cultural books in the guest rooms. The most touching thing is the warm service, the tea foot bath at the night bed service, the housekeeper team can always predict the needs, the engineering maintenance of the guest room, the temperature and experience of the starry sky swimming pool are praised.
The dining experience focuses on the creative cuisine of ”tea fragrance in food”, rock tea smoked crispy chicken, tea-scented duck, local smoked goose, daily freshly picked seasonal vegetables and breakfast tea ceremony, full of taste and ritual. The outdoor garden covering an area of ​​100 mu is a small Wuyi Mountain. The pavilion at the ancient wharf of Chongyang River in the hotel allows us to experience the fun of drinking tea outdoors in the mountains. This season is also the time when the fruits of the hotel are ripe. The organic loquats picked and tasted just now tasted like the fruits we ate when we were children.
