The room was clean, comfortable, and quite luxurious. Even during Chinese New Year, the price was very reasonable, not expensive at all. It's very close to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, and not far from the subway station and Xiamen Railway Station. There's a convenient seafood restaurant right next to the hotel on the street. The hotel itself has a fancy restaurant, and the breakfast is abundant and delicious. It's definitely the top choice for a trip to Xiamen.

Our rooms were upgraded during the Chinese New Year, moving us to Building 5. However, the two upgraded rooms were too far apart, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, the rooms at opposite ends of the same floor weren't renovated at the same time; our king room was much newer, while my parents' twin room had an older decor.

Overall, we were quite satisfied with our three-night stay. The room lighting was bright, and there was even a reading light, perfect for reading picture books to the baby (though the bedside table buttons were too bright at night and needed to be covered with a pillow).

Water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making showers very smooth. My only suggestion would be to improve the shower water temperature control; it was either too hot or a bit cold.

For the lobby, I'd suggest adding more sofas in the empty spaces, as there aren't enough seats.

The air-raid shelter is open for self-guided tours, but if you want a guided explanation, you'll have to wait for the 4:00 PM slot daily.

This hotel is perfect for family trips! The rooms are decorated with a family-friendly theme and come with kids' toothbrushes and children's bath and body products. On the day we checked in, they even provided sand-digging tools, a small bag of snacks, an eco-friendly backpack, and a plant exploration guide. The kids especially loved playing in the swimming pool and the children's playground – they couldn't stop talking about the cotton candy machine next to the playground. The breakfast buffet also had a special section for kids' meals, and staff dressed in mascot costumes gave out hand-pumped balloons and put on a 'Little Dragon' performance for the children. It was raining when we visited, but walking through the hotel's garden area, the air was incredibly fresh. The hotel even thoughtfully provided clear disposable umbrellas, which was a nice touch.

The concierge service was excellent, with welcome fruits and thoughtful care for elderly guests. The facilities are comprehensive, including a terrace, gym, and swimming pool. Although the hotel is located on the east bank of Xiamen Island, making it a bit far from major attractions, the shuttle service provided is very convenient. A special shout-out to Ms. Xiao Meiling from the lobby staff; she was incredibly responsive when I requested a car. Many thanks!

This might be the best value-for-money hotel I've ever stayed in! The hotel is quite large, offering a peaceful retreat despite being in a bustling area. The front desk staff and other employees were all incredibly welcoming, creating a very friendly and warm atmosphere. I stayed in the Tianfeng Building, which had a distinct Southern Fujian (Min-nan) style, and the room was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping auntie was very diligent and efficient.

The hotel also boasts its own lovely garden, perfect for a refreshing morning stroll. The Tianfeng Building is even more impressive, with its own playground that my child absolutely loved and played in every day, completely losing track of time. The hotel breakfast was also delicious and plentiful, enjoyed by both me and my child. Plus, since I booked online, I even received complimentary Starbucks coffee and cake! It's hard not to give it a five-star rating!

The hotel is clean and hygienic, the facilities and materials are good. The toilet is Toto, but it is not smart. It is not good enough. The room layout is very good, the bed is just the right hardness. The air conditioning is powerful in the hot summer. It is worthy of being a brand under Jianfa, and it is high-end. There are also smart robots delivering meals, and there is a gym on the third floor. The geographical location is a bit of a shortcoming. It is not on the island, which is suitable for self-driving. Overall, it can be scored 85 points.

First off, the location is incredibly convenient! The hotel is right outside the subway station, close to the train station, and in the city center. This spot is absolutely perfect, saving so much time whether you're out sightseeing, shopping, or running errands. Taking an evening stroll nearby also felt very safe and pleasant. The hotel lobby is spacious, bright, and stylishly designed, with a fresh and upscale fragrance. The front desk staff were super efficient, genuinely warm with their smiles, and patiently answered all our questions. Check-in was smooth and quick, and the hotel even provided a very thoughtful travel guide. The room itself was quite spacious, with clean and tidy bedding; the pillows and linens were very comfortable. The complimentary tea bags and coffee were of good quality. The USB charging port right by the bed was a thoughtful touch! The room had excellent soundproofing—we couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, ensuring a quiet rest. Plus, smart features like the smart toilet and electric curtains significantly enhanced convenience. The bathroom was clean and dry with no water stains, featuring a separate wet and dry area. Hot water came quickly and with stable pressure, and the toiletries had a light, pleasant scent and worked well. The quality of the dental kit and other amenities was also good. Service was very prompt. We requested an extra set of towels, and they were delivered shortly after we hung up the phone. Every aspect made us feel incredibly comfortable and satisfied.

From the moment you arrive at the hotel entrance, service staff will assist you with unloading your luggage and checking you in. The whole hotel is filled with the relaxing aroma of tea. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Welcome snacks and drinks are provided in the room to entertain visiting travelers. During your stay, all staff members can take the initiative to greet the guests, reflecting the hotel culture with solid training. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the airport. Except for the location under the flight path and a little noise from airplanes flying over, the rest of the sound insulation is very good. It is a 5-minute walk to Huli Pedestrian Street, where there are many snacks and various shops to meet your needs outside. At night, there is a night market with many stalls. There are many cultural and creative spaces behind the hotel. There are various personalized restaurants such as McDonald's, KFC, and Starbucks nearby. It is recommended for travelers who don't like to live in tourist areas.

Having a bathtub in the room was a great feature for relaxation, though rain unfortunately made it difficult to fully enjoy. Despite the intermittent rain that day, we still managed to have a soak while watching planes fly by. The complimentary late check-out until after 2 PM was a definite bonus.

The pool water was very clean with no strong chlorine smell. The lanes were Olympic-standard 50 meters, and there was also a separate hot tub/jacuzzi in the pool area, which was very comfortable. However, my child slipped and fell. Thankfully, the recreation center staff were very attentive and helpful, assisting with disinfection and bandaging the wound. It was a severe fall, leading to several days of bleeding, and since the injury was below the knee and constantly in motion, it healed quite slowly.

Furthermore, the extended breakfast service until 2 PM was fantastic. This was very child-friendly, as children often eat less and wake up late, allowing them to enjoy a leisurely meal even around lunchtime. While the overall food selection wasn't vast, I particularly enjoyed the crayfish offered during the lunch hour.

The hotel is nestled within a wetland park, offering beautiful scenery and making it ideal for families with young children. Guests can enjoy cycling, feeding swans, and exploring a maze. It's a pity we didn't get to participate in any intangible cultural heritage activities, which was a slight disappointment.

For a few hundred bucks, I got a five-star experience here. I heard it's the best hotel in Fuzhou, and my stay definitely exceeded expectations. It's right next to a park, with a private walkway directly to the lakeside boardwalk – a very pleasant walk along the lake. 

**Room Amenities:** Although the hotel has been open for a while, the room facilities are excellent, spotless, and look brand new. While not huge, the space is well-planned, tastefully decorated, and pays attention to details. Toothbrushes are color-coded, there were welcome fruits like oranges and apples, and they even thoughtfully provided a safety fruit knife. The bathrobes were clean, and hand soap and lotion were provided. It was a very comfortable stay. The only minor drawback was that the floor-to-ceiling window wasn't very convenient for ventilation.

**Cleanliness:** I'm a bit of a clean freak and usually wipe down everything with disinfectant wipes when I check into a hotel. I can confirm it's very clean; even the tissues weren't dirty.

**Breakfast:** Absolutely fantastic! They have live cooking stations with Fuzhou local snacks, including satay noodles and Fuzhou拌面 (mixed noodles), all with authentic flavors – no need to eat out! Other varieties are plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options, and fresh ingredients. What's rare is the wide selection of hot drinks, which is great for people with sensitive stomachs. There's a machine where you can choose from about six hot drinks like red bean and barley, and multi-grain beverages. The pastries were also delicious, not just a throw-in. The beverages were high-quality, like snow pear and white fungus soup, and I even saw bottled Beibingyang soda and wine, which I tried and found to be very good.

**Bed:** Quite comfortable, medium-firm.

**Parking:** Free parking is available, and there are plenty of spaces on the ground level. Just inform the front desk of your license plate number.

**Service:** Excellent and very heartwarming. Seeing that we were a family, they proactively offered an extra breakfast. Later, I stayed at Atour, which was around the same price, but they charged 48 yuan per person for breakfast unless you upgraded to a member to get it free – a world of difference!

**Value for Money:** Very high, highly recommended.

The room was clean and tidy, making for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location is excellent, convenient for getting around and finding places to eat. The front desk staff and the doorman were also very friendly and helpful.

The hotel's overall style is more traditional, and the facilities aren't brand new. There's no self-service laundry, and the hairdryer is an older model, which takes a while to dry hair. Also, during peak dining hours, many guests order food delivery. With a limited number of delivery robots, you might have to wait a bit for your food to be brought to your room once it arrives. If you're in a hurry, it's something to keep in mind.

My child was sick and couldn't go to school, so we decided to change cities for a recuperative trip. Having stayed at the Hualuxe Hotel in Xiamen before, I chose another hotel from the same group, the Hualuxe, and it certainly lived up to expectations. The room came with complimentary white fungus and bird's nest drinks, a rare amenity even in many five-star hotels. The room itself was spacious and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located next to West Lake Park, with a dedicated access path. The hotel's garden is picturesque. On our last day, after checking out, we had an early flight, so we comfortably did some homework at one of the outdoor tables in the hotel. I'd like to commend one of the housekeepers, a young man, who repeatedly brought us items we requested, made special trips to collect our trash, and was incredibly patient, enthusiastic, and thoughtful. The restaurant staff also deserve praise; they proactively guided us, made coffee, and promptly cleared plates, all with great diligence. Manager Lin from the restaurant patiently listened to customer feedback, demonstrating the professionalism expected of a manager at a grand hotel. All in all, this stay was very satisfying. I'll definitely choose Hualuxe again on my next visit.

- The front desk staff are warm and professional. Upon check-in, we received complimentary local snacks 🍪 and warm tea.
- Our room had a handwritten note and fresh fruit 🍊, showcasing 'mom-like' thoughtful details.
- 24-hour complimentary late-night snacks! You must try Fuzhou's **Shu Yu Fen Gan** (cooked fish with rice vermicelli) and Rou Yan Lao Hua (wonton soup with rice noodles)—truly comforting for both body and soul.

**Facilities & Amenities**:
- The rooms are minimalist and elegant with excellent soundproofing 🌙. The bedding is comfortable and promotes restful sleep.
- The fifth floor features a gym and laundry room (with high-end equipment that's regularly sanitized).
- The lobby bar offers complimentary coffee ☕️ and snacks all day, perfect for both business and leisure.

**Highlight**: 
”From the spectacular fireworks display by the river view window to a late-night bowl of authentic Fen Gan, this place is more than just a stopover; it's a 'home away from home' on the banks of the Minjiang River. Even the hairdryer at check-out was an old-school, warm type—a treasure for those who appreciate details!”

It was because of a friend's strong recommendation that I found out that there is such a good place, and the whole hotel is a paradise.
It takes 3 to 4 hours to go to the high-speed rail from Shanghai, and it is very convenient to take a taxi on the app when you get out of the station. There are very few guests traveling off-peak on weekdays, and the experience is 120% good. There are 5A-level beautiful scenery and cute birds and squirrels everywhere (running too fast to get a picture). The circle around the hotel is 3 kilometers away, listening to the breeze There is no need to wear earphones for morning running in the drizzle and birdsong, and there is an indoor 50-meter standard swimming pool, which is simply a paradise for leisure and sports.
The standard of the Chinese restaurant is also very high, fresh, delicious and healthy, and the meat muffins and mashed taro are absolutely perfect.

The hotel has a good environment and is very quiet. When you come in, you can see several security guards who will help with luggage. The service is really good. The front desk is very enthusiastic and introduces the hotel and surrounding attractions and food. The breakfast is also very rich and tastes good. The room is clean and tidy. , the bath water volume is sufficient and the pressure is high, the switch operation is simple and convenient, the air conditioning cooling effect is good, the whole experience is great value for money, I will choose this hotel again when I go to Fuzhou!

The hotel's location isn't particularly close to Sanfang Qixiang. Getting to Kaiyuan Temple takes about 18 minutes by taxi in the morning, to Guan Yue Temple 12 minutes, to the airport 24 minutes, and to Quanzhou Station 29 minutes. There are many good restaurants around the hotel, and the breakfast includes local specialties like satay noodles and mianxian糊 (a type of noodle paste), which were delicious. The staff were all very polite, and the cleaning service was prompt and thorough. They even have a robot for food deliveries, though its efficiency could be improved.

The only issue was a peculiar noise in my 10th-floor room. It sometimes sounded like an electrical current, other times like a fan. Even though the soundproofing wasn't great – I could clearly hear other guests talking and staff knocking on the next door – there wasn't much traffic noise from outside the window at night. It was just that strange noise in the air. Since the hotel was fully booked, and perhaps due to its age, I endured this continuous noise for two nights. On the morning of the third day, I realized that everyone in my room, except the child, hadn't slept well.

To pinpoint the source of the noise, I even opened my door to check the hallway, but it was quiet. I also searched through reviews, and some mentioned it being from equipment rooms, but my room was in the center of the floor, far from any such room. When I checked out, I asked the front desk, and they suggested it was the refrigerator, which also didn't seem right. Now, sitting at the airport writing this review, I'm wondering if the window wasn't closed properly the entire time, and it was just the sound of the wind. I'm still so curious!

Overall, a really great stay. The hotel is new, very clean, and well maintained. The vibe feels modern and comfortable, and everything was spotless. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

Service really stood out. One staff member, Visan, went above and beyond. She even arranged foot soak supplies to be brought to our room, which honestly exceeded expectations. The team followed up proactively on WeChat and felt like a true 24-hour personal concierge, always checking in and making sure we were taken care of.

The only downside is location. It’s a bit far from the old town, so if sightseeing there is your main goal, it may take some extra travel time. That said, it’s very convenient if you’re coming or going by high-speed rail, as the station is close.

The hotel has a good environment, good services, and smart facilities. Every staff member will say hello politely, check-in at the front desk is fast, and someone will bring you tea, which is very heartwarming. Thumbs up to Xiao Yuan and Xiao Lin at the front desk 👍. The room is very clean. There is a gym and laundry room on the 17th floor, which is very convenient. There are free late-night snacks in the lobby bar at night, and the breakfast is also rich. Next time I come to Shuitou on a business trip, I will stay at this hotel.
