A fantastic hotel, highly recommended! It's newly renovated and wasn't crowded. All the services were excellent and met expectations. The only thing to keep in mind is the more relaxed pace, which is a charming Thai characteristic rather than a flaw of the hotel itself.

Some fixtures in the room, such as the outlets and faucets, showed signs of wear and tear from long-term use. However, the room was very clean overall, and the private pool was spotless and comfortable. The resort offered a fantastic range of entertainment and recreational activities, and the staff were incredibly warm, enthusiastic, and professional. The beach and water activities were excellent, far surpassing the public beaches nearby. Highly recommended for a multi-day stay to truly unwind and enjoy.

Spent 4D3N here. Location-wise, not directly in from of Kata beach but they conveniently provide shuttle service to the beach, just 5 mins away. Resort is right in the middle of the main kata street so easy access to the area. 711 available nearby. Room-wise, we relocated on the ground floor in front of the main pool area, direct access from our balcony. As Asian family, we were used to leaving our shoes at the door and bare foot in the room, however floor was dirty. Not used for us to walk around in the room with our shoes. Beds were soft to our delight. Breakfast was good. Didn’t really get to enjoy the pool as we were sick day before departure. Suspect the drinks from previous night dinner we had at one of the restaurant along the street. That just killed the entire mood and we couldn’t enjoy Centara fully.

The rooms are individual bungalows. If you book a sea view room, the ocean is right there as you open your door. (Though I had emailed well in advance to request a room with a good view, unfortunately, many trees still obstructed it.) I also observed that the sea views from rooms assigned to other guests, particularly Westerners, appeared to be better than those given to Chinese visitors.

The breakfast was quite a generic Western-style spread; after four days, I was completely fed up with it.

There were no convenience stores or supermarkets like 7-Eleven nearby, so food delivery was the only option.

On a positive note, the service was excellent. Even arriving at 1 AM, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful with the check-in process.

It was our first trip to Phuket, and the Waterfront Suites by Centara was the perfect choice. The service, rooms and hospitality are higher than many other hotels I have stayed at in Thailand. I recommend this hotel to everyone, either single, couples or family. The location is fantastic. 2 mins walk to the beach, and there are excellent restaurants, bars, live music venues, tourism agents, shops, minimarts etc., within 100-300 m. Many thanks to the wonderful staff – Ms Ploy, Mr Duke, Mr Kanun and Mr James- for the kind hospitality and making our trip memorable.

The hotel was absolutely incredible! The place is very convenient and close to all the central attractions which are just walking distance. Platinum mall, pratunam market, centralworld, BigC, December’s etc.

Rooms are so clean and beds are comfy, we were offered a free room upgrade as well and it was a family room - be perfect if you’re traveling with kids.

The breakfast buffet was good too. Had a variety of food and everything was great. 

Staff are the kindest and the most helpful I probably encountered in my trip to Thailand. As we wanted to explore the area after checking out, they were kind enough to keep our luggage in their storage until we came back later the same day. 

As I was traveling during my birthday they had small cakes sent over to our room as well which was so cute!

10/10 will definitely stay here again for a longer duration next time.

The entrance to our room type was a bit narrow, which sometimes made me worry when my child ran in and out. The Ctrip hotel concierge and the hotel service were excellent. Bangkok traffic is terrible, so we arrived at the hotel late, at 1 PM, and they kindly allowed us a late check-out. The pool was too cold for swimming in the evening. I have to say, the location is truly excellent. It's surrounded by shopping malls, and the palace is right across the street. I would definitely choose this place again next time if I can book it at a discounted rate.

I normally hve no complaints about this hotel. However this time 3 issues i experienced. 1) Room cleaning was surprisingly poor this time. I hve attached pictures how dusty and how it was not cleaned the duration of my stay! This is a executive room which i extended and stayed 1 week! 2) At breakfast I was shown to a table that was already taken. Nvrmind, she proceeded to walk me to another table. Just when i was about to sit, a guy came from a few tables away and said to my usher, he will change his table to this one. My usher then agreed and proceeded to walk me around the restaurant to look for another table. This is so unprofessional. I felt like i was being taken on a tour!!! She should hve stood her ground and not allow other guests to just take tables as and when they like.  3) On my second last day, reception calls me at 1.45pm asking if im checking out today! I said my booking is till the next day, why are you asking me? She said they were running full for executive suites and will need me to check out to a lower grade room! I went down to reception to clarify and they allowed me to stay in my room and checkout the next day as booked. This is totally unprofessional and discourteous as I felt the hotel was trying their luck to bully me! 

What is happening to this once lovely hotel? I had a most unpleasant stay this time despite being in a executive suite (1306) and staying 1 week!

For the location and price this is a pretty nice hotel. It’s not like the other Centara I stayed at. The rooms are “nice.”  Nothing to really get excited about but they are very nice. However, not sure if it’s because I booked on trip.com or if I completely missed something in the booking but my room’s one window to the outside faced a wall. I don’t mean there was a wall a few yards or meters away…I mean the balcony was completely against a wall. Absolutely ZERO sunlight. Perhaps that’s why the deal was so good. They do have rooms that look over the pool so it is an option. The breakfast was great. This is a very nice place to stay in the city center.

Convenient for visa extension as directly connected to Government complex (Immigration) under one roof.  Front desk, housekeeping efficient and friendly.  Parking guard Gf was the opposite.  Told us to turn inside the building though we have informed him we booked into the hotel and made us going around for the first 2 floors only to find out all parking lots have been permanently blocked off.  Upon our distressed   final approach, we were told to go to 4f where bridged directly to the hotel building.  Otherwise, could have been a comfortable stay.

Centara is good hotel with good gym and good view from windows, room looks fine and wide. Hotel far away from beach side. Restaurant  is expensive, no choice for poor vegetarians… They provide shuttle  bus drop to the beach every hour, thanks.
We stay one week without hot water in shower, reception  know about this problem , but nobody help, doesn’t matter how many times I call.
Fist time in my life I stay in 4****star hotel without good cleaning service, lots of insects on walls,
blankets and pillows very dirty !!!
There is nice swimming pool and garden inside with lots of trees and flowers. 
In this hotel they respect animals much more than humans, so they proud to show on the board lots pictures  with cats and dogs. 
Nearby restaurant  1 vending machine swallow money, but give no snacks, hotel said they not responsible.
Service should be better, need to find a manager with modern education to run this beautiful hotel with prosperity. My opinion if hotel gets money from international clients is better to teach stuff how to communicate with customers on American/English way, perhaps is right way to run business. Stuff is tired and boring all day long.

Hotel is clean enough , breakfast contain bread, fruit, main dish like porridge, rice noddle , vegetable and meats and  omelettes station and coffee and juices , quite complete breakfast. Can see quite a lot of Indian tourist stay in this hotel and they have occupied the swimming pool all the times, hotel location is strategic and with hotel private car park. Air cond is cold , hotel even look abit old but still functional and I have no complains.

the hotel just 10 minutes walking to the beach ,also the central Mall all shops THE BIG C supermarket about 10 minutes the staff very helpful and polite all the room has balcony with view to the pool ,there is kettle tea coffee small fridge AIRCON work perfectly well definitely I will stay again.
