I chose a sea-view room, and it was decent, though the view was slightly obstructed, I could still see the ocean. The hotel's pool was a big plus, very large with a deep end, but it was a shame it closed at 7 PM, preventing further use. It would be great if they could extend the hours. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few steps from Karon Beach, and there's a 7-Eleven right outside the lobby. Dining options nearby are also plentiful. The room facilities were okay, and the room door was incredibly heavy, which actually made for good soundproofing. However, the air conditioner was too noisy, even on the lowest fan setting.

Our stay at Centara Villas Phuket was a truly pleasant experience. The front desk manager and housekeeping staff were very responsive and handled issues with genuine sincerity. The landscaping and cleaning staff, identifiable by their green t-shirts, were incredibly polite; they'd actively step aside for guests, and one even personally escorted me back to my room when I got lost wandering the grounds. The internal tuk-tuk shuttle service was always on call, and the drivers were consistently smiling. Although the sea view from our assigned room was slightly obstructed, the exceptional service from the entire team made our trip a fantastic one nonetheless.

A wonderful hotel on Karon Beach. The rooms are large and spacious, with multiple balconies and beautiful views. The bed is big and comfortable, and the kitchen is good and roomy. The staff are polite and always ready to help. There's a large swimming pool, and room cleaning is well done. The room has everything you need. The hotel staff are wonderful, kind, and responsive people. The ladies at reception are very kind, and the security guards at the entrance are always friendly; everyone is very welcoming. I highly recommend this place. It's the best hotel on Karon Beach.

## Room
The room was incredibly spacious. When we checked in, they kindly combined the twin beds to create a super-sized bed (2.6 meters wide), which was extremely comfortable for three people. The air conditioning was effective and even had a pleasant scent. Some of the other furniture, however, had a slightly older style.

## Breakfast
Breakfast was very crowded, often requiring a wait in line. Most of the guests here were Caucasian. The breakfast selection was extensive; it's rumored to be among the top three in Phuket for variety, on par with the family-friendly hotel in Kata.

## Pool
The pool experience was a bit mixed, I'd say. The lazy river and diving pool are definitely a highlight, probably the best in Phuket. However, in some of the other pools, perhaps due to age and corrosion, several tiles at the bottom were damaged, making it uncomfortable to walk on and even posing a risk of cuts. You need to be very careful.

## Other
Regarding the location, while it boasts a private beach, getting around is quite inconvenient. The entrance is at the bottom of a hill, and the nearest 7-Eleven is a 30-minute walk away, with no restaurants nearby. Of course, this might not be an issue for those who plan to stay purely at the hotel for their vacation or those who are used to taking taxis.

Having stayed at many Centara hotels, a local hotel group, I can confidently give this one a five-star rating! This villa is their newest property, featuring a modern, circular design. The ground floor consists of pool villas, though the pools aren't huge. The resort also has a regular hotel in a high-rise building, and another tropical rainforest-style resort (which isn't listed on Ctrip). All three hotels share facilities, including five fantastic swimming pools! I didn't have time to experience the spa. The breakfast buffet was incredibly rich and even had Eggs Benedict! Villa guests enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails. The gym offers great views, and there's a Starbucks right next door. Upon check-in, I downloaded their app, which I used to order water and other items directly. The resort has many other facilities and daily activities that I didn't get a chance to experience. This resort is a destination in itself; you could easily spend your entire trip just relaxing here. The beach is less than a ten-minute walk away, but the waves are quite big, so it's more for surfing than swimming. Unlike domestic hotels, the white cloth slippers provided by this hotel group are not disposable. They are cleaned, disinfected, and reused ♻️. The bellhops at the entrance were very proactive in helping with luggage, arranging a taxi, and even taking a photo with me. I tipped them a little for their excellent service.

It was a very pleasant time in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, the room was clean and there was everything we needed including mini-kitchen. The breakfast was good but I would add some hot porridge for children, there were only different kinds of muesli with the cold milk.

We had such a pleasant stay at Centara Watergate Pavilion Hotel. The hotel team was incredibly friendly and always greeted me whenever we crossed paths, which made the stay feel very welcoming.
Although the breakfast selection was somewhat limited, the food was so delicious that we looked forward to breakfast every morning. Starting each of our three days with a nice breakfast was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

The in-room dining was also soooo good! I honestly didn’t expect the food service to be that delicious, and it was definitely another highlight of the stay.

Another lovely surprise was a small birthday surprise from the hotel. I hadn’t mentioned or communicated anything about the birthday, so we were genuinely touched that the team went out of their way to make the occasion special. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made our stay even more memorable.

The location is also very convenient, with easy access to shopping malls such as CentralWorld and Big C. However, due to the nearby construction, the traffic around the area can be quite heavy.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality and thoughtful service.

I had a layover in Bangkok for one night, flying back the next evening. Centara Grand really has an excellent location; it's a 10-minute walk to the Erawan Shrine across the street, Central Department Store is right downstairs, and Big C is directly opposite. My legs were exhausted from all the walking! It's so convenient for dining and shopping.

The lobby is on the 23rd floor. Upon check-in, we received a drink coupon for the rooftop bar for each person, which we used right away. However, children are only allowed on the 54th floor.

The breakfast selection was quite extensive, but I found the taste to be just average.

The bedding was very soft, making for a very comfortable sleep.

The facilities were a bit old, but clean, so I had no problem sleeping. The pool was small, but I could use it leisurely, and the water was very clean. There was no machine to inflate the tubes, so I had to blow them up myself, but kickboards and towels were available. The breakfast was also good; the coconut pancakes were delicious, and the freshly made Pad Thai was tasty too. However, the hotel's location was a bit far from the tourist attractions, so I had to use Grab a lot, which was a bit inconvenient. For those planning to use public transport, note that the BRT station is accessible from the M floor.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 15-minute walk from Wat Saket (Golden Mount). The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), and Wat Pho are only a few minutes away by motor-taxi. Being right next to the Chao Phraya River, you can also take a boat to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). The hotel's facilities are great; the wet and dry areas in the bathroom are well-separated. The bed in the room is very comfortable, and there are power outlets conveniently located by the bed for charging. The room itself has a very stylish design, with a view of the pool from the room, yet you can't see into the rooms from the pool. The swimming pool downstairs is also quite nice and perfect for tourists.

An experience that exceeded expectations! The overall service was beyond what I anticipated, though specifically on the first day, the front desk staff were lovely and provided excellent service. The security guard was also very nice. However, the breakfast service was below the standard of even a roadside stall. There's no need to compare it to hotel-level service. I won't be going back.

The facilities are clean and the rooms are spacious. I had a completely comfortable stay without any issues. The fruit salad and cakes sold at the hotel were inexpensive and delicious. I'd love to stay here again.

The hotel is a low rise building about 8-storey. It locates close to Central Marina mall about 600-800m in walking distances. There are 7-11 , chinese restaurants and a large massage shop and a Runway market nearby which sells street foods and local fruits and souvenirs. We got a large connecting room for 4 persons with 2 bathrooms. Very spacious and comfy. The building a bit old, but overall is not bad. There are a small swimming pool and fitness with sauna room and steam room in the hotel. The drawback of this hotel is only a parking lot which doesn’t seem enough at the night time. The alley in front of the hotel may be flooded in the rainy season which may drown your car. Be careful!
In a nutshell, overall is good to excellent for the experiences. Love the space of the room and the comfy bed.

This hotel is generally suitable for active travelers who don't plan to spend a lot of time in their room. There's a 7/11 right next door, about 10 meters away, and the nearest market is a 10-15 minute walk. There's also a laundromat nearby. Housekeeping was done daily, but I wouldn't say it was thorough. For me, that wasn't a huge deal; the main thing was having clean bedding, towels, and a robe. The pool is good, with sun loungers and towels provided. I found it to be good value for money; 8 days cost 22,000.
