Had a thoroughly enjoyable 4-night stay in Taipei. It was perfect for me as a solo traveller! The cleanliness was top notch throughout the hotel, and housekeeping did an excellent job daily. The location was also extremely convenient — just near the airport transfer at Taipei Main Station, which made travelling around very easy. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and fuss-free, and the staff provided great service throughout the stay. Amenities were great as well, with all the basic necessities (bottled water, room slippers and bath soap) thoughtfully provided. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

Pros:
- Location near Beimen station exit 3🟢 (3-5 mins walk) and Taipei Main station exit Y27🔴 (3-5 mins walk to gate + 12-15 mins walk to station)
- 7-11 is right beside the hotel, and Family Mart is opposite the hotel
- Laundry service is provided with reasonable price, collect within the same day
- Can order pineapple tarts (and other souvenirs) from hotel, no need to buy outside and carry it back
- Cleanliness is satisfying, nothing to complain
- Slippers are provided, but is disposable and very thin

Cons:
- Room is small, can barely open two 24” luggages, but need to be folded if you want to walk around
- Lightning is dim even after turning on all the lights in the room
- Toilet is fragile, cannot throw anything into the toilet bowl including toilet paper
- Bathroom is small and no hooks for holding clothes

Tips:
If you are going to Taoyuan Airport, enter via Taipei City Mall exit Y24, not Taipei Main Station exit Y27 (closed in early morning around 5am). If it is open, you still need to walk 12-15 mins to reach the express train station.

For those who from Taoyuan Airport, might exit via Taipei City Mall exit Y24 as well, near the gate right after tapping the card.

Booked for family. Location is good ith plenty if eateries nearby. Near Raohe night narket. Was worried if there would be issue, but it turmed out checking in was a breeze.  Senior folk preferred hot beverage but coffee at the breakfast buffet was warm. No complaint for younger gen though. Overall a recommended place to stay.

The work breakfast was decent and filling. It's a bit of a distance from Taipei Main Station. However, it's relatively close to the Taoyuan Airport MRT entrances at Taipei Main Station (specifically, the underground pedestrian street exits Y17 and Y21), about a 700-meter walk. If you turn right outside the hotel and walk about 30 meters, you'll find the commemorative plaque for the 228 Incident. Another 50 meters across the street is the Fazhugong Temple (one of the three major temples in Dadaocheng).

I arrived late and left early, the hotel was clean and had everything you needed for an overnight transit stay. The man at reception could have been a bit friendlier though. 

Also there was a very loud running water sound that lasted all night, I think either the plumbing or AC upstairs was making a strange noise. But after a while I didn’t notice the noise. 

The hotel helped me book a taxi back to the airport which was 200 TWD. It’s very close to the airport, it took 3 minutes by car in the morning. 

I didn’t try the breakfast.

Our stay at City Suites was a fantastic experience! In terms of cleanliness, the room was spotless, the bedding was neat and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and odor-free, which made us feel very at ease. Regarding the environment, the soundproofing was good; although it's near the train station, we weren't bothered by the noise and got a peaceful night's sleep. The service was also very attentive; the staff were warm and friendly, check-in was efficient, and any requests were quickly addressed. The facilities were complete and practical, with fast free Wi-Fi, conveniently located charging outlets, and good quality toiletries. We were [travel type], and the hotel's location is convenient, close to the station, making travel easy, and they even offer a free shuttle service, which saved us a lot of hassle. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I would choose it again when I next visit Taoyuan. I highly recommend it to anyone needing accommodation near the station!

Every thing is fine except the lighting is toooooo dark and inadequate 
The lamp on the desk is too heavy and even cannot stand straight
Also ,  not enough light in toilet and the lighting on the top of the mirror makes making up to be super difficult 

Other than that it is a great experience!

City Suites in Kaoshiong is perfect location  due to short 1 minute walk to Tram(LRT), the rooms are very spacious, good bathroom  concept with the options all given...soundproofing is good and well served by 3 lifts. The check-in process is very very efficient and is very customer oriented and allow guests to get to the rooms fast! Highly recommended!
