Despite of being one of the oldest still, this branch is one of the cleanest branches in the Metro. The service is still warm and courteous with respect to the privacy of the guests.  Food tastes good and the price is reasonable. I wish the Chopsuey would be less oily. Bed is comfortable and the bathroom is functional and clean only the problem is, the noisy air-conditioning unit that needs replacement. Over all great experience and I will surely book here again if we have an event in Cubao next month.

I urgently book this one because we need a hotel to stay for a night. Its fast and good, i love their food too. Its clean and spacious. I like our stay at sogo, cause the staff is polite and ready to provide anything you want too. Will surely come back again once we're in the same location. Thank you so much✨

All is good except wifi, connection is weak to none.
Good thing we have data and we just stay there at night so no worries.

Very accessible location and the front desk staff are friendly and accommodating. Overall, the stay was convenient. My only concern was the strong chlorine-like disinfectant smell in the hallway outside the room, which could be improved. Otherwise, good value for a quick stay.

It's a good place to stay and bond. However they are not punctual when it comes to check ins. We were there at exactly 2 pm and we were given a room 2 45 then they gave us a wrong room and we had to wait again by 3pm then they did not change the check out time even it was their fault. And the parking was so far away, but they have a service so it's okay. Then it's close to fishermall and other fast food chains. But the place was nice and their foods were delicious.

Smoking is supposed to be done outside, but there's a ashtray in the room, and it's just blood.
But I just shot it outside, because I didn't like to smell in the room.

Food is ok. I ate the Sini River and it was okay.
But the price was cheaper than booking on the trip and just getting a room .... 
I remember paying 44,000 won for my standard Deluxe Room. 
I remember the price at the front desk was 1600 pesos. 

Amazing stay that we have, its our first time to checked in a Sogo hotel and its worth with the price plus the cleanliness, services and warmth welcome🥰🥰🙏🙏 highly appreciated all the considerations as we got early checked in beyond the usual but no charges applied. Sogo-Mindanao Ave is probably the best branch in the Sogo hotel brand. The staff are courteous and the rooms are impeccably clean. I got a room at the ninth floor and it was newly renovated. Will definitely book again.

Aside from the hotel's convenient location near attractions and the airport, it's also very clean and has everything you need, just like any Sogo hotel. The place is very busy. But the room is clean and has a smart TV and a free wifi. It is accessible to transportations such as Jeepney, taxi and train station.

I stayed at Hotel Sogo Wood Street in August 2025 for a short layover, chosen for its proximity to Ninoy Aquino International Airport (just 1.2 miles away). The location is ideal for travelers needing a quick stop near the airport.
Check-in was a bit slow, which was frustrating after a long flight. The lack of an elevator to the second-floor Deluxe room was a major hassle, especially with heavy luggage. The narrow metal stairs were difficult to navigate and felt unsafe.
The Deluxe room was spacious and clean, with a decent bed, fresh-smelling sheets, pillows, and towels. The bathroom was clean, and I appreciated the provided toiletries and two bottles of drinking water. Free Wi-Fi worked well, but the TV was old and kept disconnecting from the internet, which was annoying. The air conditioning was a mixed bag—it cooled the room but was positioned on the left wall by the bed, blowing cold air directly on my head. I had to sleep with my head on the footboard to avoid getting a headache. The toilet also had a flushing issue, which was inconvenient.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly option with a great location for airport travelers, but the lack of an elevator, toilet issues, and poorly placed aircon detracted from the experience. I’d rate it 6.0/10—good for a cheap, short stay, but not ideal if you have heavy luggage or need reliable amenities. I’d consider returning for a quick layover but would hope for fixes to these issues.

The service is excellent. I feel really comfortable of the room assigned to me. It was relaxing and peaceful. The location is quite accessible to my needs. So i highly recommend to the solo travellers like a hotel like that.

The location is very convenient. The hotel is good to stay but the problem is the aircon is not working we ask for assistance few times they will assist but the problem is the same .

Booked here for an early event in MOA but didn't realized the place is not accessible to public transpo so we had to use grab to go to and from MOA, also kinda far to food establishments, only little food options near. For the place itself, the room is very clean and the location is quiet so we were able to rest before and after the event we attended.

Always the best sogo branch we've tried. Friendly and accommodating staffs especially Sir Mario! Fast check-in process, kaka-book lang namin sa Trip, meron agad room na binigay samin. Malinis, mabango, at complete from towels to their set of toothbrush, toothpaste, comb & shampoo!

This was just an okay hotel. I stayed in a windowless room. There was no daily cleaning as one would usually expect. The amenities were limited. A small pack of shampoo that couldn’t last two full showers and a tiny bar of soap. No body wash, no cotton swabs, no hairdryer.

The bathroom is clean; however, the bed is covered with long hair, and we have just checked in. Unfortunately, I neglected to take a photograph of it.

I hope that in the future, they will vacuum the room thoroughly and ensure it is well-cleaned to enhance guest satisfaction.
