The room was surprisingly spacious and very nice, with an old-money charm. Overall, it was excellent. It was quiet at night, and the subway station was right outside the door. If you're on a budget, this place is definitely a great choice. Highly recommended! Dongjiaomin Lane is also right behind it, perfect for a stroll.

My overall stay at the Beijing International Hotel was great. The location is super convenient for getting around and running errands. I stayed on a newly renovated floor this time, and the room facilities were very new, with a modern decor that felt clean and comfortable. The gym is a partnership with a third party, open from 7 AM to 10 PM, and it's really well-equipped with a wide variety of machines, plus a pool – perfect for fitness enthusiasts. There are no delivery robots, but the concierge staff brings food right up to your room quickly. The complimentary mini-bar drinks on the first day were a nice touch. The service was attentive overall, and they pay attention to the details. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Beijing.

I booked this hotel in advance for the Chinese New Year, and I was pleasantly surprised that I could still get a package deal. The only downside was that breakfast wasn't included. The hotel itself was very clean, and the service was good. It's conveniently located right outside Dongdan subway station, and not far from Tiananmen Square, making getting around quite easy. The hotel has a grand feel, and they thoughtfully place plenty of bottled water in the hallways for guests to take as needed. The lobby displays many unique exhibits, including Rabbit God handicrafts, which I assume are specialty items from Beijing and other regions – it all felt very festive. Overall, the stay was a good experience, and the value for money was excellent.

✨ **Prime Location!** This hotel is right in the heart of Dongcheng District, next to the East Second Ring Road CBD. It's super close to the subway station! You can get to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing quickly and directly, which is a lifesaver when you're touring with kids! 

🏠 **Super Kid-Friendly!** We walked into our family room and were greeted with lovely surprises – dedicated kids' toothbrushes and slippers neatly laid out. The room, with its big bed and a smaller one, had enough space for our little one to run around, while my partner and I could relax on the sofa without feeling cramped!

🌿 **A Hidden 'Jiangnan Garden' in the City – Absolutely Stunning!** Who would've thought a city hotel could hide such a magical spot! The 'Asia Garden' completely blew us away. Bamboo groves line winding paths, and a stream reflects the tea sets. Enjoying some snacks in the evening breeze, it felt like we'd stumbled into a secret Jiangnan paradise. Every photo you take here turns into an atmospheric masterpiece! 📸

My friend and I visited Beijing in mid-to-late November. This is an older, established hotel, very close to Exit B of Subway Line 1. It's about a 2-minute walk straight ahead to the left after exiting the subway, and there's an escalator – definitely appreciate those on the Beijing subway! Don't use Exit B1, as it leads directly onto a road, and you have to cross a non-motorized vehicle lane, which is very inconvenient with luggage.

It takes about 45 minutes to get here from Beijing South Railway Station by subway. On our way back, we took a taxi, which was both fast and cheap. The subway exit is near a commercial building with a Starbucks, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, Luckin Coffee, and Xiao Diao Li Tang. A new BBQ Liu restaurant also just opened right by the exit.

The hotel has an A and B building, with nearly 100 rooms per floor. However, the elevators are only in the middle. Our room number was quite far down the hall, so it was a bit of a walk from the elevator to our room.

The room itself was very spacious, which is a great deal for this price in Beijing. Guomao (CBD) is just a 5-minute walk straight to the left of the hotel. The bathroom was quite clean, the room had air conditioning, and the bedding was comfortable – we slept really well. The hotel restaurant also offered a 28.8 CNY Zhajiangmian buffet in the evenings, but unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try it.

The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, with all the amenities one could ask for. Contrary to some reviews, toiletries were provided, which had me a little worried before arriving, wondering if an older hotel could really be good. But after staying here, I found that the facilities, hygiene, and environment are even better than many new hotels. The staff were also very attentive. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely stay here again!

I highly recommend the newly built Jianguo Hotel (Universal Studios branch) nearby for anyone visiting Universal Studios. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and they offer complimentary soft drinks. There's a dedicated shuttle bus to Universal Studios, or you can take the subway, which is just four stops away. The gym is free, and a robot delivers food orders to your room. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the service is excellent. They even upgraded our room for free! Next time I'm doing a training trip at Universal, I'll definitely stay here again!

I saw some reviews before saying this hotel was very old, but when I checked in, it felt quite new. The room was also spacious and clean, and the temperature felt just right – not as unbearably hot as some other travelers mentioned online, and it seemed adjustable. The staff were all very professional and nice. A really great experience overall!

I have a free upgrade on my room maybe because of their renovation. All staffs are friendly, kind and helpful. The Chinese Restaurant staffs are also very friendly, and the food is reasonably priced and taste great. I have a great time and experience staying there, the location is very near to MRT too. Will definitely stay there again when I visit Beijing and also recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Vision staffs really appreciated the services that you offer.

I checked in late in the night after long travel. No smile, no welcome, no talking to me. I'm a foreigner in China, but I can speak Chinese. However, staff didn't bother even try. No information given until I asked: wifi, what time/where is breakfast, just very basics not given automatically. Room was big and clean, but to be a non-smoking room it had the old smoke smell. Breakfast was good, I really enjoyed it. The hotel was within walking distance from my meeting place, so I decided to try it out.

The hotel environment and hardware are good. But the underground parking fee is a flaw. There are very few free parking spaces on the ground, and there are basically no vacancies all year round. In the huge underground parking lot of the Olympic Sports Center, the hotel actually charges guests for check-in. Which hotel would do this now? It is extremely short-sighted.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the price. There is often only one open-kitchen chef on duty, and he can make fried eggs and noodles by himself. However, this chef sometimes finds a way to make pizza that is only sold at noon. No wonder some guests commented that they have to wait for fried eggs and there is no noodles.
And the desserts and breads for breakfast are all perfunctory, none of them can be taken out, and they are extremely unpalatable.
It is recommended that the chef go to Zhengzhou Hotel to learn and observe. Not to mention learning from Marriott, Wanda Wenhua and InterContinental, at least go and see the breakfast of the former Yuda and now Jiajin. At least it should be fresh, of quality and classy. Otherwise, it is better to eat a takeaway breakfast for 20 yuan.

To be fair, the biggest advantage is its proximity to the train station; you can essentially walk there. You don't even need to strictly follow navigation – just ask the front desk, and you'll get there quickly. Taking a taxi is actually inconvenient; we ended up taking a roundabout route.

The downside is that there's nothing much around, and dining options aren't very convenient. If you're traveling with kids, you can just eat at the hotel's top floor restaurant.

The breakfast was excellent! The lamb offal soup, spicy soup (hulutang), and desserts were all made with good quality ingredients. They weren't like those stale or low-quality vegetable cream desserts. The overall quality was great, especially the pound cake – I really loved it!

We accidentally broke a breakfast cup and were charged an extra 28 yuan. I felt the compensation price was a bit high, but it was indeed our fault. I'd suggest providing more baby-friendly cups if possible, otherwise, all-ceramic cups make accidents like this hard to avoid.

I came to Zhengzhou on a business trip yesterday. My friend recommended Jianguo Hotel to me, so I booked a room online. The curtains in the room I stayed in had a good light-blocking effect, and I slept very comfortably at night. When I checked out, it was raining, and the staff helped me hold an umbrella and sent me to the parking space. Thumbs up! !

Before my stay, I saw reviews mentioning issues with the hot water, and I thought it might just be isolated incidents. But after actually staying, I realized the facilities really are lacking. There wasn't enough hot water late at night, and even after waiting an hour, it still didn't heat up. Although they eventually gave us another room to shower in, the experience was still very poor because you absolutely cannot use two showers at the same time. The hot water runs out instantly, and the water pressure becomes incredibly low.

On the first day of check-in, we didn't notice because we showered one by one. But on the second day, when we tried to shower consecutively and in two rooms simultaneously, it was a complete failure. I suspect the hot water pump used for the suites is the same model as for the standard rooms, and its performance is simply inadequate. To top it off, the hotel sets the default temperature at 40 degrees Celsius. Yes, only 40 degrees. When there was no hot water in our own room, housekeeping came and adjusted the temperature first, but it still heated up very slowly. Later, when we used the newly opened room for showering, I specifically paid attention, and it was only 40 degrees. So, it's barely enough if you shower one after another and use very little water. Otherwise, the water simply won't heat up.

The resort environment is lovely, and the service is good, but this hot water issue is just terrible. Everyone, do not book a suite.
