The biggest highlight of the Xinqiao Hotel is its extremely convenient location – directly opposite Chongwenmen Subway Station (where Lines 2 and 5 intersect). It's incredibly easy to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and Beijing Railway Station by subway or bus. Plus, there are malls like New World nearby.

However, the facilities are indeed quite dated. After all, it's an old hotel that opened in 1954, and some rooms have dim lighting. Some room types are windowless, which can feel a bit stuffy if you haven't confirmed beforehand. I personally recommend getting a room with a window.

In summary, if location and transportation convenience are your top priorities and you're fine with the older style of an established hotel, this is a hassle-free choice!

The hotel's front desk service was incredibly attentive, without feeling at all perfunctory. Check-in was quick upon arrival, and they proactively informed me about all the hotel's amenities. The staff had excellent professionalism, being friendly without being overly intrusive. The check-out process was simple and efficient. When I accidentally left a small item behind, they called me immediately and even helped mail it to me. Their handling of the situation was thorough and thoughtful, showing great care in the details. My entire stay was particularly comfortable. They could even help receive express deliveries for luggage and deliver them to the room, which saved a lot of hassle and time and effort. I had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back in the future.

The room isn't huge, and the window is sealed. The decor is brand new, and the service is excellent. It's easy to get a taxi, and the doormen at the entrance are proactive in opening and closing car doors and handling luggage.

This hotel offers great value for money in Beijing, and I highly recommend staying here.

There are many dining options: the revolving restaurant on the 28th floor has great service and delicious food; there's also an interesting garden on the 2nd floor, plus Shanxi cuisine and Tan Family cuisine. You can enjoy fantastic food without even leaving the hotel.

This was my first stay at this hotel. I was traveling with friends and our kids, and we picked this place because it's close to Beijing Railway Station and a subway stop, plus it offers great value for money. The location is absolutely fantastic – just a few minutes' walk to attractions and the subway! The room was clean and spacious, perfect for us with the kids, and the bedding was soft. The bathroom was spotless and odor-free. The view from the window was also beautiful. The staff proactively shared local travel tips, which was really thoughtful and helpful. Staying here made our trip completely hassle-free. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends.

I stayed at the hotel for a weekend with my two-year-old baby. First off, the garden room on the ground floor, although not large, was quite cozy. However, there were quite a few mosquitoes and midges. I got bitten many times overnight, and while there was mosquito repellent liquid, it wasn't very effective. Also, for a two-year-old infant, I think adding a child-specific mosquito repellent would be a more thoughtful touch, as adult repellents aren't really suitable for young children.

But I must commend the hotel restaurant manager, a gentleman, who saw me alone with my baby and proactively offered to help me with a high chair. He was very service-minded and solved a tricky problem for me.

Overall, the hotel facilities are excellent. They've even child-proofed the hotel with rounded edges in many places, which is very safe for babies. The bed was also very comfortable. If it weren't for the mosquitoes, it would have been a fantastic stay.

Considering my baby's nap, the hotel offered a late check-out, which I really appreciate. However, the hotel's parking is currently self-paid at 8 RMB per hour, costing 190 RMB for a full day. This is a bit on the pricey side. It would be better if this was stated on the booking page.

Finally, the hotel's location is excellent. I took my baby to Ritan Park and the Fangzhuanchang Zhajiangmian restaurant behind the hotel. Overall, it's a 5-star rating! All the staff were incredibly service-minded.

I stayed at this hotel for three days last week for a business trip to Inner Mongolia. I'm back today and plan to stay for another week, as I prefer familiar places and don't like switching hotels. I booked a king room, but since there was no showerhead (I have a wound and can't use a shower), I asked the front desk to switch rooms. Instead of an upgrade, they downgraded me to a twin room. I even told them that I saw plenty of rooms available online, so why couldn't they upgrade me? I will never choose this hotel again. As for the dining, I thought it was good, and the restaurant staff were nice. However, the room's cleanliness wasn't great; the bath towel and floor mat were placed together, and the room wasn't cleaned thoroughly. The swimming pool was pretty good, though.

The hotel's location is great, very close to public transport like buses and the subway. It's perfect for cycling to Dashilar, and you'll pass by Beijing's hutongs and old shops along the way. The hotel has a theatrical theme, including a Liyuan Theatre inside. During my stay, I was lucky enough to catch a show, and my child really enjoyed it. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends.

Overall, my experience was excellent! First off, I have to praise the hotel's location. It's about 3 kilometers from Universal Studios and only a few hundred meters from the subway exit, making it incredibly convenient whether you're taking the subway or a taxi to the park. The ease of access is top-notch.

The hotel lobby is modern and minimalist, with a clean and spacious feel. The front desk staff were very efficient with check-in, professional, and polite. They attentively responded to all my requests, making communication very smooth.

The room itself was spacious and well-equipped with all the essentials I needed for my trip. The beverage selection was thoughtfully put together, featuring capsule coffee, tea bags, and a variety of cold drinks – plenty of choices! Plus, there was a personalized welcome message on the TV screen when I entered the room, which was a super thoughtful touch.

I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Universal Studios!!!

The location is decent. The male manager and staff at the front desk, and Xiao Dong from concierge, were all very friendly; I felt their warmth during my extended stay. However, a certain female manager at the front desk severely lacked service awareness. Her attitude was very robotic, like she was just going through the motions, and she lacked hospitality. Seeing her made me not even want to stay at the hotel. The female manager on duty on May 1st was particularly rigid with breakfast management, which made for a poor experience. The hotel uses a central air conditioning system, so the temperature cannot be adjusted individually, limiting comfort. Given the intense competition in the hotel industry today, I hope management takes seriously the need to adjust service attitudes and improve quality with customer experience at its core. Overall, I'd give it half a star (specifically for that female manager who lacked service awareness).

This hotel seems to be an older establishment, and overall, it's pretty good. Breakfast is served in the revolving restaurant on the 26th floor and offers a wide selection. For parking, if you stay over eight hours, the front desk can issue an access pass for 60 yuan. They should really ask guests if they're driving at check-in, as this service is available.

The hotel environment and hardware are good. But the underground parking fee is a flaw. There are very few free parking spaces on the ground, and there are basically no vacancies all year round. In the huge underground parking lot of the Olympic Sports Center, the hotel actually charges guests for check-in. Which hotel would do this now? It is extremely short-sighted.
In addition, the hotel's breakfast is seriously inconsistent with the price. There is often only one open-kitchen chef on duty, and he can make fried eggs and noodles by himself. However, this chef sometimes finds a way to make pizza that is only sold at noon. No wonder some guests commented that they have to wait for fried eggs and there is no noodles.
And the desserts and breads for breakfast are all perfunctory, none of them can be taken out, and they are extremely unpalatable.
It is recommended that the chef go to Zhengzhou Hotel to learn and observe. Not to mention learning from Marriott, Wanda Wenhua and InterContinental, at least go and see the breakfast of the former Yuda and now Jiajin. At least it should be fresh, of quality and classy. Otherwise, it is better to eat a takeaway breakfast for 20 yuan.

Full five-star praise for Zhengshang Jianguo! I traveled a long way to get here, and the front desk staff, especially Xiao Ting, handled my check-in smoothly. Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision. The cozy duplex room with its own mini-fridge was so comfortable and relaxing. Zhang Haixia was incredibly thoughtful, kindly offering fresh fruit and lovely cookies, which was a very sweet touch. The hotel's location is super convenient; it's just a ten-minute walk to the East Station and the long-distance bus station, and right next to the upcoming Pang Dong Lai. This makes getting around and shopping so easy. My trip was filled with happiness, and I highly recommend it!

Had a fantastic stay! The location is great, about a 20-minute drive to both the East Station and the Museum, so it's quite central. Downstairs, there's BBQ, hot pot, and Cotti Coffee, making it super convenient for food delivery – they even have robots for that! It's very quiet and the area feels safe. Plus, you can park under a covered area to protect your car from rain.

A big thank you to the lovely front desk lady who helped me get a really great room with a perfect view of the 'Corn Tower' (a local landmark). The bed was super comfortable, the AC worked perfectly, and there were 4 complimentary bottles of water in the room.

The only minor flaw was that the shower head was broken and almost hit my foot.

They offer a free shuttle service to the station, which was excellent, but it's a shared ride. The other party was late, which almost made me miss my train. I'd suggest giving a heads-up if it's a shared shuttle next time. The driver was very professional, though; he rerouted us due to heavy traffic and got me to the station on time. Great service overall!

Located by the river, the hotel offers stunning river views right outside the door. The back door leads to Langjing Square, and many attractions are within walking distance. There are bus stops nearby for convenient transportation, and Jiujiang Railway Station is a short taxi ride away. The hotel's decor is on the luxurious side, with spacious rooms and bathrooms featuring bathtubs. The old-fashioned maroon furniture creates a somewhat somber atmosphere in the rooms, which lack a main light and have insufficient lighting. All amenities are complete, and the breakfast is plentiful, delicious, and the service is warm and professional.

The hotel is clean and tidy, and the rooms, while small, are well-equipped. Elegant yet charming, the service is attentive and truly comfortable. It felt like home, and every detail was impeccable. The staff were all courteous, welcoming, and attentive. Xiao He, the front desk clerk, provided excellent service. Parking is convenient, and the hotel is spacious and conveniently located next to a shopping mall.
