The room with the open-air bath offers great privacy, and the natural hot spring water left my skin feeling wonderful after a soak. The hotel is very conveniently located, just a few steps from the station, making it suitable for all types of travelers. There are also private onsen baths available. The hotel garden has a serene atmosphere, and the food is good too.

Excellent experience we received in this Osen Ryokan. It was probably the most memorable experience in our honeymoon trip. 

We arrived there in a heavy rainy day. It was cold and we were extremely tired. Staff members were giving us big welcome and help. Most of them can speak Japanese and English so don’t worry on the language issue. 

The room was spacious and comfortable. The open air bath in room was awesome. We really enjoyed the time with it.

The meals were great as expected. In between the meals they also served the refreshment which was remarkable. 

Must try.

I was so surprised that I could stay in such a nice hotel for this price! My friend and I went together, and it even included an all-you-can-drink alcohol and soft drink option, which we really enjoyed! I'd love to stay here again the next time I visit Hakone!

The private onsen was lovely, and the hotel is located near Gora Station, though it's up a hill, so I wouldn't recommend heavy luggage. If you do have a lot, it's best to ask the hotel for a pick-up or take two more stops on the Hakone Tozan Railway. The room was very Japanese in style with classic decor. Both meals were also good, and the service was attentive.

Love the location and the peace in Arashiyama. Nice place to relax after a very busy week visiting places in Osaka and Kyoto. Love the private bath in the room we booked❤️ plus the private onsen bath especially if you have tattoo. Who doesn’t love a free ice cream/cold green tea after onsen😄 and don’t miss the free ramen from 22:30-23:30 😊 lastly, the staff are really nice, helpful, and the Japanese breakfast was very tasty! Beautiful experience and now we are well rested to visit other places in Japan!

Great location, within walking distance to many restaurants. They have their own paid parking, which is convenient for those traveling by car. The hot spring views must be beautiful during the day, and the facilities are very complete. Overall, a great experience!

The hotel is located at the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal, not far from Kamikochi, with direct bus access. There are a few restaurants nearby, but honestly, not many are open, and most only accept cash. So, if you're staying here for an extended period, make sure to bring plenty of cash.

**Facilities:** The facilities are quite comprehensive, and the rooms are spacious. However, the slippers provided aren't very comfortable. I tried both hot springs; one is said to be 400 years old, and it was my first time experiencing a Japanese onsen, which was fantastic.

**Environment:** The hotel has its own courtyard, and the overall design style is very nice.

**Service:** The service was excellent. The front desk staff spoke English and were very gentle and helpful.

I highly recommend this onsen hotel! The environment, service, and food are all excellent. They have two outdoor private onsens and two indoor private onsens, all free of charge. The public outdoor onsen is also very large, and some rooms even come with their own onsen baths. After your bath, you can enjoy complimentary milk and cold drinks, and in the morning, Yakult. There's a sake happy hour in the evening, and free ramen for a late-night snack! I've stayed at over 20 onsen hotels, and this is the first time I've seen such generosity, haha. The hotel pays great attention to every detail, which is fantastic. For dinner, we chose the Hida beef kaiseki meal, which was also quite good. They offer a free shuttle service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!
