Pros:
The hotel's location is excellent, close to Chunxi Road and IFS. Right across the street is Pan Can Shi restaurant, ranked number one for Sichuan street food. It's super convenient for both dining and shopping. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable. The hotel also offers complimentary bottled water, a laundry room, a fridge, and a microwave.

Cons:
One night, the power on our entire floor tripped twice, which was quite disruptive. On our last night, the air conditioning unexpectedly leaked twice without warning. The hotel management really needs to address these issues, as they significantly impacted our stay.

Facilities: Good
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Good
Service: Very good

The room was cleaned very well, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the front desk staff were friendly. The location is convenient for getting around, quiet and not noisy, and offers good value for money. Staying here made my trip very relaxing, highly recommended!

The hotel's location is great for exploring the nightlife around Jiuyan Bridge, and it's also conveniently close to the metro station. The front desk staff were very friendly; the young man who checked us in and the young lady who helped with our luggage were both very efficient. They even told us we could get more water at the front desk if needed. Since it was exam season, I noticed the hotel thoughtfully prepared stationery for test-takers. The room was also very clean.

The only minor inconvenience was that my room card stopped working at 11 AM, even though it wasn't check-out time yet. I had to take the elevator up to my floor only to go back down to the second-floor service desk. It would be helpful if guests were informed at check-in about when their room card will expire and needs to be reactivated.

The room was very clean, the environment was quiet, and the staff were very enthusiastic, actively helping me with a late checkout until 2 PM and providing travel route suggestions. The only drawback was that the corridor light in the room couldn't be turned off, which is a design flaw. Overall, it's excellent value for money. This location is in the most bustling part of Chongqing, just a few steps from Hongyadong. Superb!

We traveled to Chongqing with our family and kids, and had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and tidy with complete facilities, and the location was very convenient for getting around. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and responded to our requests very promptly. Overall, it was quiet, comfortable, and offered great value for money. It's ideal for family trips, and we will definitely choose this hotel again next time we visit. Highly recommended!

Located in the city's prime commercial district, Chongqing Jiefangbei Hotel is within walking distance of popular attractions such as Hongyadong and Chaotianmen, making getting around extremely convenient. The hotel features a minimalist and elegant decor; the guest rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. The front desk staff are warm and attentive, and the breakfast offers a rich variety that caters to both local tastes and universal palates. It is an ideal choice for both business and leisure travel.

The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well.

The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening.

The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean.

The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions.

Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be.

Seriously, I've hit the jackpot with this place! This hotel offers peak comfort; the mattress is just right—not too soft, not too firm—making for a super relaxing lie-down. It's such a welcoming spot near the school, and the cleanliness is top-notch; even the corners are spotless.

What's more, the lobby's decor is incredibly atmospheric and perfect for photoshoots 📸📸📸. The front desk staff are gentle and patient, handle things efficiently, and resolve issues quickly with a kind and friendly attitude. The location is also fantastic, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, or taking the subway. At night, the soundproofing is excellent, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel's price is quite reasonable and affordable, making it perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. It's definitely going on my 'frequent stay' list!
