Excellent hotel with kids facility 
Food are nice
But they have free flow with bingo tem on the day we checked in, don't know why the restaurant staff don't want to show us the free flow menu .
We asjec the waiter for detaills, he showed us.
But we don't know our kidx can play bingo ten after dinner . No one told us.
Other than that , all are good

I booked this hotel to see Jigokudani (Hell Valley) and Oyunuma Pond. I rented a car to get around, but it was snowing heavily and the hotel is located two mountains over. So, if you're planning on driving, please be extra careful. The local drivers tailgate aggressively, it was quite nerve-wracking. The hotel itself is much larger than I expected (200 rooms) and surprisingly clean for having been renovated in 2015. Room hygiene was okay. The outdoor hot spring is absolutely amazing; I'd definitely return just for the onsen. Breakfast and dinner, however, were not great.

Both the open-air and indoor public baths are fantastic, with different themes to choose from. It's a traditional, old-fashioned hot spring hotel, and the place is very clean.

Breakfast and dinner are buffets, and the selection is very generous. There are also buffet-style kimbap and kamameshi (rice cooked in a clay pot), which is quite interesting.

The facility was equipped with a breeze of the Strait, and the building was connected.
Although it is shared in some parts, the rooms in Suzuki Tei are old. But the cleaning was well done and I didn't care.
On the other hand, the corridor in front of the room smelled like cigarettes and stayed for 2 nights, but no improvement was made. (Smoking is possible for the wind in the Strait?)

The public bath was open-air and I was able to slow down.

The meal was not very delicious honestly. The ramen that came out for breakfast was delicious.
There was a small child meal, but there was no infant and a commercial lunch box.



The facilities are quite new. Dazheng Heping has two styles of hot springs. This time I lived in a Dazheng style room. I hope I can live in Pingcheng style next time. The sea view from the window is OK, after all, there is still a short distance from the beach. The only dissatisfaction is that the air conditioner in the room cannot be adjusted. If the window is not opened in the room, it is very stuffy. I even have to take off my clothes to sleep. If it is cold outside, I should also give the right to adjust the indoor temperature to the guests. Everyone has a different sense of temperature.

When people book a hotel, they usually think that booking a room is enough, and there is no option to just click on the first booking option of the hotel on Ctrip. See the red part in the picture. When we arrived at the hotel, we were asked to stay in one room for two nights. If we double the room fee, we contact Ctrip and in the end Ctrip will only bear part of the difference. Most of it is borne by ourselves. The experience is very poor.

Absolutely stunning view with calm and peaceful environment!! 

Since it becoming low season. not crowded. However for checking in we feel like not much welcoming. i mean we arrived with no staff coming to welcome until 2 pm. Everything start on time, professional, well manage.

i fall in love since first saw the view from huge transparent wall.. their public onsen is breath-taken view. i went there before dinner&early morning. it switch side (gent&ladies) and you could enjoy both 

I didnt take pictures for dinner cause it absolutely worth money!!!! everything is soooooooooooo nice, great taste~ omg all are over my expecetation.

I love vibe here. even in room that you could seee it a bit old but clean and well maintained.

This is the perfect trip after Niseko for ski/activities. i really enjoy my stay and will come again if i have chance!!! 

+point that they have illumination light nearby. 7-11&seico mart in front of the hotel. good and cheap meal for lunch.

My overall experience at Toyako畔亭 (Toyako Hanatei) was quite good. The hotel is right by Lake Toya, and the views are truly stunning. When I arrived yesterday, the weather was clear, and I could see Mount Yotei clearly in the distance – it was a magnificent sight. This morning, it snowed, and the lake with the falling snowflakes created a very picturesque scene. It was a completely different vibe, and both views were incredibly impressive.

The onsen area was clean and comfortable, and soaking in the lake-view hot spring was especially relaxing. Dinner was excellent; the steak was delicious, tender, and juicy – definitely the highlight of the meal.

Breakfast had a minor drawback: the serving time from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM felt a bit short. It can get rushed when there are a lot of people. Also, there was no seafood donburi, which would have made the selection richer. However, the overall taste was still good.

Overall, it offered good value for money, and the minor issues didn't detract from the overall experience. If I visit Lake Toya again, I would definitely consider staying here.
