Stayed for 3 nights and I enjoyed my stay very very much. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time! The room was very clean and cozy and even though it was small (on par with japanese standards) it has everything I needed. There was even a humidifier in the room!! Great for the winter months! 

Location was amazing! It was just a short 10mins walk from the Keisei Ueno Stn to catch the skyliner direct from Narita. And 5 mins walk away are a few other subway lines (at least 5 more other lines scattered nearby) that can connect you to other major areas of Tokyo easily. Even though hotel is located in a quieter street of Ueno, Food and Shopping are just a stone throw away (just across 1 main street). It is a very convenient area to stay! The service staff was also very welcoming and kind! Thank you for making my stay wonderful! ^^

The location is incredibly convenient. You can take a direct train to both Haneda and Narita airports, and it's very close to Higashi-Nihonbashi subway station. The service is great; you can store your luggage on the day of checkout as long as it's not overnight, and the front desk even offers Chinese-speaking staff! My only minor complaint is that the room is extremely, extremely small, but that's understandable given the location.

I had a wonderful experience staying at R&B Hotel. From the moment I checked in, the staff was warm, efficient, and always ready to assist with a smile. The check-in process was smooth, and I appreciated how accommodating and professional the team was.




The room was spotless, well-organized, and designed with comfort in mind. Despite being compact, it had everything I needed — a comfortable bed, clean linens, reliable Wi-Fi, and thoughtful amenities that made my stay stress-free. The daily housekeeping kept everything fresh and tidy, which I truly valued.




One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. The freshly baked bread and variety of simple yet satisfying options made for a great start to my mornings. I also appreciated the 24-hour access to certain conveniences like vending machines and laundry facilities, which made the stay even more practical.




Location-wise, R&B Hotel is excellent. It’s conveniently close to transport links, shops, and dining options, making it easy to explore the area without any hassle.




Overall, R&B Hotel offers incredible value for money. It’s perfect for both short business trips and leisure stays. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located hotel with genuinely kind hospitality. I will definitely be staying here again on my next visit.

Fantastic location in Kamata. Just a brief ＜5 mins walk from Kamata station, its a straightforward route so even if you're a tourist you won't get lost. There is a book-off nearby with multiple convenience stores (7-eleven, Lawsons, Family mart), and plenty of restaurants around the hotel nearby that open late till the night.

For a 2-star hotel, I wasn't expecting much, but the hotel looked very new and very clean, even in the bathroom (photo attached). Walls were impeccable. They cleaned the room and replaced the sheets everyday, even replacing the bedroom slippers daily.

Facilities were great, the room was small but has everything you need. You have a kettle, coffee and tea, a small fridge, bathroom with a small bathtub, bidet, a small tv (tho Jap programs only), a desk with a stool etc. The hotel even has a vending machine and a small laundromat on the 2nd floor you can wash and dry your clothes (200 yen per use for washing/using the dryer). Toothpaste and toothbrush, hairbrush, shaver are all provided. Only downside is you don't have cupboard space (just 3 hangers), but no problem if you are willing to make do and leave your stuff in your luggage bag). Breakfast is simple and complete. You get typically butter rolls, croissants, 2 other types of buns, hard-boiled eggs, curry with rice, cereal with milk (granola), salad, a few types of soups from the machine, and a few types of juices from the machine as well. And of course coffee and tea. Worth it if you just want a simple breakfast. Breakfast hours are a bit limited tho between 6.30am to 9.30am only.

Only downside about staying in this hotel was in relation to communication. Although its a hotel, the staff don't speak English at all, so we had to use Google translate to communicate for things like checking-in and checking-out, and they seemed unwilling to help when we needed to book an early morning cab to the airport. Other than that, this hotel is great value for money and I would certainly stay in there again.

The location is very easy to find from the station. There are several ramen restaurants around the hotel. It may be recommended for those who like ramen.

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the JR station. There's a Lawson downstairs, a 7-Eleven to the right, and a FamilyMart across the street – super convenient! The breakfast at 800 JPY is incredibly cheap, so if you're not picky, you can easily eat at the hotel. They offer complimentary coffee and soft drinks all day, which is a really nice touch. It's much newer than Keio, the only downside is that the rooms are quite small.

The hotel facilities are quite new, and it's very clean. It's also within walking distance of Nagoya Station, with two convenience stores within a few hundred meters. I recommend staying here.

Facilities: It's a business hotel with all the necessary amenities.

Service: The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless.

Location: The location is great, right next to JR Nagoya Station and very close to the Shinkansen exit, which is super convenient. Many Japanese guests also stay here.

Exit 4 of Hisaya-Odori Station on the subway is the closest, but there are no escalators or elevators to ground level, so it might be difficult with heavy luggage. I stayed here because I had a live show at the Aichi Prefectural Arts Theater. It's within walking distance, and there's an underground shopping mall (Central Park) across from Exits 3 and 4 (Otsu-dori) on Hisaya-Odori, which connects to Sakae Station and has a variety of shops, so it's safe even in the rain. Nagoya Castle is also within walking distance, so the location was excellent. My single, non-smoking room was fully equipped (desk, chair, kettle, folding mirror, desk lamp, etc.). There was an outlet by the bedside, and the room light could be turned on and off with a remote control. There was also a standby light, so even those who don't like complete darkness would have no problem. Welcome drinks were available until late at night, and I didn't use the kettle in the room. There were several types of tea and three types of soup. Since it's Nagoya, breakfast isn't necessary. For 800 yen, it was pretty reasonable. There were four types of bread: the salted butter roll and croissant, which were the same for both days, but the other two were different. The boiled rice* was delicious, with a nice salty flavor and a soft yolk. The curry was filling and packed with vegetables. All the staff were very nice, and overall I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Nagoya. The rooms were very clean, and the cups were soft and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. I would definitely book this hotel again next time.

Great property. Will recommend to other solo travelers. Please add free one load of laundry and drying. During monsoon or rainy season nothing dries up inside the room.

Very good hotel location, close to the Hakata station (around 15mins walk). Comfortable room, perfect size for 1 person stay. May feel a bit crowded for 2 people especially with big luggages. Room is well insulated and central aircon option becomes heater during winter. Very helpful staf, easy check-in and some amenities provided on the first floor.
