This 8-day stay was a basic place to crash, but it felt like they cut too many corners, leading to a lot of issues:

1. The hot water relied on solar, so the temperature was often too low. After the staff switched to the boiler, the water pressure became abnormal, and there was a strong, foul odor from a broken septic pipe.
2. The room didn't have any drinking cups, so I had to use my own disposable ones. The space was a bit small, and the old window AC unit was really noisy, which made it hard to sleep.
3. Housekeeping was pretty lackluster. They only changed the bedding and did a quick wipe-down of the bathroom; the floor was never cleaned during my entire stay.

I hope the hotel improves its amenities, cleaning services, and water supply in the future to enhance the guest experience.

Great location right in the heart of Binondo! There’s a 7-Eleven on the ground floor, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Binondo Church and the Eng Bee Tin flagship store.

The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure. We also had a really good and restful sleep since the room was quiet and we couldn’t hear much noise from outside. Overall, we had a great stay!

Walking distance to the US embassy. Rooms are clean. Dental kit available for sale. Water dispenser at the lobby. VeryConvenient for people with appointments at the Us Embassy.

I used to stay in this hotel since 2022 but this time the room cleaning is not done regularly. I stayed there 3-10/09/2026 and my room is cleaned only twice. And too once I requested the reception to clean and change the bed linen. The have to improve the quality of towels, bed sheets etc. after cleaning my wash basin was not draining well.

We arrived at the hotel early before the check in time and they accomodated us even if our room is not ready. We were able to leave our baggage in the reception area. When we got back to the hotel after the check in time, we were surprised cause we got upgraded to a bigger room. We were happy during our stay. Will book again soon in this hotel if I have things to do in Makati area.

First off, the staff's service is absolutely wonderful. Everyone is bright and easy to talk to. The location is also great, the room is clean, and being close to a convenience store and a mall is a huge plus.

If I had to pick out some downsides, perhaps because it's the rainy season, there's a noticeable humidity indoors, and a slight drain smell upon entering. Also, the breakfast bento wasn't very tasty.

Overall, I'm glad I stayed here.

We are familiar with the Red Planet hotels and our main one is in Binondo. We went here to Timog for some errands and stayed here.
As usual, rooms are clean and staff are amazing. And yes, the price is affordable. One thing of note with this location is that they have grab lockers outside for food delivery so keep that in mind.
You will need to go downstairs and scan the QR code on the grab app or enter a code given to you in the grab app to unlock your locker and collect the food.
