The room was a duplex villa. The ground floor had a living room, a mahjong table, a private hot spring in the courtyard, and a separate bathroom. The second floor had a bedroom, a separate bathroom, a bathtub, and a terrace. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. What was particularly delightful was the breakfast; all the buns, wontons, pastries, fried dough sticks, soy milk, etc., were handmade and tasted excellent. They mostly avoid pre-made dishes, surpassing the dining experience at many five-star hotels. I'll definitely try their restaurant for dinner if I get the chance next time. The hotel environment is also very pleasant, with a beautiful Chinese-style lobby. The restaurant overlooks the lake and offers a distant view of Mount Qingcheng, making for a delightful scenery.

After my first stay at Songtsam in Guilin, which left a lasting impression, I specifically chose Songtsam Kunming for our summer holiday with the kids. The hotel boasts classic Song-style aesthetic architecture, and the guest rooms are spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the courtyard's trees and banana plants, creating a tranquil and peaceful environment. Although it's been operating for a few years, the rooms, gym, and pool are well-equipped and facilities are well-maintained, showing proper upkeep.

The terrace outside the lobby offers expansive views of the Western Hills, which is simply breathtaking and refreshing.

Special thanks to the two front desk ladies who checked us in on the afternoon of August 22nd for their thoughtful and attentive service. Also, a shout-out to Xiaogu, the breakfast greeter, who was warm and welcoming with a truly infectious smile. And the housekeeping auntie for room 0105 during those days was incredibly considerate; noticing I was working in the room, she cleaned quietly and gently, trying her best not to disturb me. Her meticulousness and sincerity were truly touching.

My daughter even drew a thank-you note specifically for the staff, but due to time constraints, she couldn't deliver it in person. I've attached the picture here. The kindness of every single staff member is the biggest plus point, adding so much warmth to our trip. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely choose it again for my next visit.

Incredible hotel. A bit out of the way from central ChongQing but close to the Sunac mall and theme park which are great for kids.

For us this was a weeklong reset/getaway while traveling chinese cities and for that it was perfect. The kids loved the theme park, mall and carnival and the room/house was more than big enough to be able to enjoy time ”at home” as well.

Service was top notch, they brought our breakfast to the room when asked, filled the pool fresh whenever we asked, all around great (english-speaking) service. Would definitely visit again.
