One of the highlights of our stay at The Ritz-Carlton Jakarta, Mega Kuningan was definitely the lounge experience. The lounge staff were all fantastic - warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect, always greeting guests with a smile and remembering small preferences, which made the experience feel very personal.

The service was consistent throughout, whether during breakfast, afternoon tea, or evening cocktails. It really elevated the overall stay and made us feel well taken care of. A big thank you to the lounge team for their exceptional hospitality - we'll definitely be looking forward to coming back.

The rooms were another standout feature.. spacious and very comfortable. There was plenty of room to relax, and everything was kept spotless. Combined with the luxurious amenities, it made unwinding after a long day effortless.

Very attentive staff. They read our message that we came to hotel to celebrate our 10th year friendship. There were little touches of surprise during breakfast and dinner. Customised pancakes and chocolate ice cream! And even prepared a cake in hotel room and wishez written on the mirror. Incredibly touched! Not forgetting a mini gift (2 lion plush toys)when we checkout!  Room is big and expected of ritz Carlton, the classic bathtub by the window and tv. Cleanliness is top notch, highly recommend. Special mention to Pricilla. Thanks for making our stay so comfortable and checking on us.

Great hotel residence. Connected to Pacific Place. Room very spacious and staff service very good.

The location is excellent, the room is spacious, and the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Every time my son walked by the front desk, they'd offer him juice. Once, my son asked for a rubber band to play with, and the staff member brought him a whole big bundle – it was hilarious! 😂 The overall decor has an 'old money' vibe, and the lobby is adorned with many humorous takes on classic oil paintings. Most of the guests coming and going seemed to be business elites. There's a metro station right outside the door, and it's quite close to Dubai Mall – you can actually walk there. The only minor downsides are that the facilities are slightly dated (though still perfectly fine), and driving is a real pain. Because it's so central, you can get stuck in traffic for half an hour right outside the hotel during peak morning and evening hours (no exaggeration!).

We had a fantastic stay at The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable hotel experiences ever.

At first glance, the property may look a bit “old school” in design — and yes, some modernization might be needed soon — but once you spend time here, you realize it has something far more valuable: true warmth, character, and heart. In a world of glossy “design hotels” that often feel empty in spirit, I would choose this one any day.

A huge compliment goes to the housekeeping team, especially Sachith Karan, who did an outstanding job every day. The room was spotless, beautifully arranged, and filled with thoughtful touches. Sachith’s professionalism and genuine care made a real difference and truly reflected the Ritz-Carlton spirit.

The grounds are breathtaking — lush gardens, peaceful walkways, and multiple pools that even have well-placed shade, which is perfect in the Dubai heat. There are activities and games to enjoy throughout the property, making it ideal for both relaxation and fun.

The food here is excellent across the board, but a special mention must go to the Arabic outdoor restaurant on-site — it’s pure magic. The atmosphere, the flavors, the setting under the stars — it captures the essence of Dubai in the most beautiful way.

Most of all, the team makes this hotel what it is. Every staff member is kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. You never feel like just another guest — you feel truly welcomed and valued.

In short: while it may not have the ultra-modern look of some newer hotels, The Ritz-Carlton Dubai shines where it truly matters — heart, hospitality, and unforgettable atmosphere.

Neat, comfortable, safe, excellent location

After checking in that night, I found hair on the bedside lamp and the room wasn't as clean as it should have been. When I checked out, I mentioned it to the housekeeping staff, and they apologized. Later, I realized I'd left some clothes in the room, and they proactively helped me retrieve them and returned them to me. Overall, the service quality is very good, though there's room for improvement in other areas. The overall service is still quite good. There's an ITO experience store downstairs in Building L, and their bags are pretty nice!

am writing to file a formal complaint about my stay at the Ritz-Carlton Shanghai. The experience was absolutely unacceptable:

· The plumbing was a disaster — the toilet wouldn't flush properly.
· The water temperature in the shower was completely unadjustable. I spent 15 minutes twisting the tap all the way to cold, but the water never changed temperature — it stayed scalding hot the entire time.
· No basic sofa or settee in the room — nowhere to sit or lie down except the bed. And this wasn't a standard room — this was a suite.
· The appliances and furniture look at least 20 years old, with visible signs of wear and tear everywhere.
· I left my phone to charge overnight — I specifically checked that the charger was working before going to bed. Woke up in the morning to find my phone hadn't charged at all. The power outlets work intermittently at best.
· The Wi-Fi was terrible — slow and with extremely low data throughput. It kept buffering and disconnecting, making it impossible to get any work done or even browse normally.
· No razor provided in the bathroom.
· The hairdryer had no attachments — not a single nozzle or diffuser. And to make things even worse, there wasn't a single power outlet in the bathroom. So in a 5-star hotel, I had to dry my hair next to the bed, with no mirror nearby. Absolutely ridiculous.
· The breakfast was very mediocre — just a plain omelet with bacon, and they still managed to ruin it.

To top it all off, I decided to order room service. The delivery driver dropped off my food at the reception desk at 10:20 PM and sent me a photo as proof. Do you know how long I had to wait for someone to bring it up to my room? 40 minutes. I went down to the front desk twice to ask about my order, and no one even apologized. We're in the 21st century — most hotels have delivery robots that bring food to your door in 5 minutes. Here, I paid three or four times as much and received this level of service. It's simply insulting.

I have already canceled my second night and am checking out early. For this kind of money and with this kind of service, this stay was a complete disgrace. I expect a substantial refund for the night I actually spent here.
