Traveling with kids, we stopped in Kunming for a night on our way back from Fuxian Lake and chose this hot spring hotel. The hotel was clean, the service was great, and we really enjoyed the water park and hot springs – it was so relaxing and perfect for families with children. Highly recommend for family trips!

We had a very pleasant stay at Wanda Realm Kunming. The hotel is about 50 minutes from Kunming Changshui International Airport by car.

Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable for two people. The air conditioning worked well, and the shower had strong water pressure with plenty of hot water.

The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We especially appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the hotel after check-out before our late flight. When we arrived, we were also given complimentary fresh fruit, which was a nice touch. The hotel also offers free Chinese tea in the lobby for guests.

The hotel is connected to Wanda Plaza, which is convenient if you want to do some shopping, although we found the mall itself to be fairly average. For Muslim travellers, there is a convenience store in the mall that sells a few halal food options.

There are also several halal restaurants about 10 minutes away by DiDi, near Kunming Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The food there is delicious and much more affordable than the restaurants around Nanping Street. Nanping Street has a wider variety of local food, but prices tend to be higher.

Overall, Wanda Realm Kunming offers great value for money. With comfortable rooms, friendly service, and easy access to halal food, it’s a great choice for both business and leisure travellers.

I really want to highlight that this is a pet-friendly hotel. They thoughtfully prepared supplies for my pet, and even gave my dog some treats when we checked out. Wanda Plaza is just a few hundred meters away. The bathroom facilities were in great condition with plenty of hot water. Overall, it's excellent value for money, the service was attentive and thoughtful, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely prioritize choosing this place for future trips.

One of my German clients stayed at Wanda Realm Heshan and insisted that I help forward his five-star review to the hotel. Here is his review:

The hotel's exterior looks grand, and the ambiance upon entering is quite nice. The room itself is very spacious, with neat and clean bedding. The bed was made with exceptional care, and the housekeeping staff even thoughtfully folded elephant-shaped towels, accompanied by a handwritten note, instantly conveying their dedication. The attention to detail in the bathroom also reflects high hygiene standards; the tissue paper was elegantly folded, the marble countertop was clean and spotless, and the fixtures were well-maintained. The room's hardware feels premium, the upholstered headboard is impressive, and the soft lighting makes for a very comfortable sleep. The overall service is very warm, from check-in to room service, everything was excellent and focused on making the stay feel special. Furthermore, the hotel's location is superb, convenient for both getting around and shopping. Whether you're traveling for any purpose, visiting Shangrao, or stopping over on your way to Mount Sanqing, staying here is an excellent choice.
