We had a wonderful two day stay. There weren’t many guests around on the dates we stayed, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The hotel offered a shuttle golf buggy to the beach and nearby places which was a bonus. It rained heavily while we at the beach so staff picked us up in a car. I have already recommended the hotel to a friend! Staff: Friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast: Fresh and healthy, served in the outside coffee/bar summer house. Afternoon Tea: Tasty fruit, fresh juice, local biscuits. Hotel surroundings: The garden is planted thoughtfully and kept tidy. It was nice to have the open covered seating area to rest and read a book. The furniture is good quality and comfy. Swimming pool is a nice size and clean apart from some surface bugs. (it’s not easy to keep all flies/insects out off the pool in a hot place) Dog friendly hotel, the owner’s puppy was super cute! Room: Super view over the mountains. Large balcony. Furniture, towels, toiletries and bedding all high quality. Decor tasteful and modern. Everything felt reasonably new and in good repair. Surrounding area: Quiet village, plenty of places to eat or get coffee. Only cons: Coffee is not included as standard with the breakfast. When it rains the cushions on the balcony’s outside furniture oget wet so you can’t sit on them for some time. I personally didn’t like that you could see into the ground floor rooms from the outside seating and sunbathing areas.

I set aside two days during the New Year's Day holiday to explore Riyue Bay and stumbled upon this place, 'Dai Zhai'. Its 'chill' vibe instantly appealed to me, someone who loves to just relax and unwind during holidays, so I decided to check it out. The drive along the country road to the very end at the foot of the mountain was quite a revelation – the overall Mediterranean style was stunning. Stepping into the courtyard, every detail showcased the owner's meticulous care: dining tables by the fields, rattan lounge chairs, a bar hut, a European fountain, and a swing under a tree. It was simply perfect. Food-wise, I had three meals here: afternoon tea, breakfast, and an à la carte lunch. From the ingredients to the presentation and taste, everything was thoughtfully prepared, and the service was excellent. Regarding the rooms, there are 22 in total across three floors. The room design is simple and elegant, exactly my style. The use of Jurlique toiletries was another huge plus! The ambiance created by the outdoor pool on the first floor and the surrounding greenery made me feel like I was back in the South of France – absolutely loved it!! On my second day, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her vibrant, beautiful mother. Through our conversation, I learned that every step of this guesthouse, from initial concept to final execution, involved immense dedication. The designer is Spanish, which explains why the Mediterranean theme is so perfectly realized. In conclusion, I'm confident I'll be back, and I highly recommend it to everyone – a refined guesthouse not to be missed!

The entire guesthouse is very well-designed with a great ambiance. The facilities and details are all thoughtfully done, and the bedding is excellent – you can tell the owner put a lot of effort into it. Each room has its own soaking tub, and the public swimming pool is fantastic. There's also a cafe, and the afternoon tea and evening cocktails are great too. Definitely worth a second visit!

I was drawn in by their promotional video the first time I searched for hotels on Trip.com. After booking and prior to check-in, the staff proactively reached out to let me know that shuttle service was available. Upon arrival, the butler gave me a tour of the property, pointed out the laundry room, and told me I could contact them anytime for rides whenever I needed to head out. Breakfast isn't a buffet; instead, they specially prepare a well-balanced, nutritious set meal for each guest. ❤️ If you're not sure about fun spots to visit or good places to eat nearby, just ask the butler—their service attitude is absolutely top-notch! 👍 The location is fantastic and very convenient for getting around anywhere. Excellent value for money! 👍 I’ll definitely stay here again next time I visit Riyue Bay. 😊

🌿 Hidden Tropical Getaway — I’m Definitely Coming Back! 🌿 I stayed here for 4 nights and honestly, I’m already thinking about my next trip back. The whole vibe of this hotel is peaceful, green, and super relaxing — perfect for a little escape from the city. While my room didn’t face the ocean directly, it overlooked a beautiful garden full of lush tropical trees and plants. It felt like waking up in the middle of a quiet jungle oasis. I loved how calming it was — birds chirping in the morning, swaying palm trees, and so much natural light. The room itself was spotless and stylish, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed. You can tell they care about maintaining the place really well. What really made this stay special was the staff. Everyone I met was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help — whether it was arranging transportation or giving local tips. They even have drivers who can take you around to explore nearby beaches and spots, which was super convenient. One of my favorite little perks? The coffee shop inside the hotel where you can grab free coffee anytime. I spent a lot of time there, sipping on iced drinks and reading in the garden — it was honestly the perfect recharge. The whole property feels cozy and nature-focused. Not flashy or crowded — just clean, peaceful, and full of tropical charm. Ideal for solo travelers or couples who want to slow down and soak in some nature. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Wanning or Riyue Bay. I’ll absolutely be back! 🌺✨

The room wasn't as big as I expected; in fact, the rooms on the first floor seemed larger. The hotel service was excellent; any issues were resolved immediately. Every night, there's a complimentary sweet soup. I didn't try it, but the butler always informed guests it was available on a first-come, first-served basis. Right outside the hotel is a street full of bars, including 216 Restaurant & Bar and Malt, all just a short walk away. It's a great way to spend time, just chilling there for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. There are also plenty of good restaurants nearby. At night, the bars are incredibly lively and bustling – definitely a young crowd!

My stay at Footprint Homestay was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was impressed by its elegant design and the warm, attentive service. The staff were professional and considerate, handling check-in efficiently and answering all my questions with great patience, making me feel right at home. They even went extra mile to pick us at the ShenZhou Station which is approximately 3-4mins away from the hotel. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and well-equipped with high-quality amenities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The bathroom featured a separate shower and bathtub, with plenty of hot water and stable water pressure. The location was also ideal, with convenient transportation links and close proximity to several tourist attractions and shopping areas, making it easy to explore or shop. The hotel also offers leisure facilities like a swimming pool, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Every moment spent at Footprint Homestay was comfortable and enjoyable, making it an excellent choice for travelers. Highly recommended!

I give this hotel 100% praise. I always thought that the hygiene of B&Bs is difficult to guarantee, but the hygiene here is very good. The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. I strongly recommend going to the beach bar opposite at night to sit. There are fireworks 🎆 and it is also very convenient to ride a bike

Very good homestay! ! There was a barbecue party on the first day we went. It was very interesting ～ surfing was also very fun. The surf instructor was serious and responsible. The experience was very good. 🫶🏻 would recommend it to friends and stay again! ! There are also many cute little animals, the homestay can also order food, very convenient! ! Going out is the beach!

Service: The front desk check-in process was efficient and smooth, and the staff were gentle and polite. The sightseeing buggy was available on-call, and they proactively assisted with luggage. Environment: The hotel is nestled between mountains and the sea, surrounded by tropical greenery, away from the city's hustle and bustle, creating a perfect vacation atmosphere. The infinity pool on the cliff faces the ocean directly, offering superb views of the Shenzhou Peninsula lighthouse in the distance. The villa area is well-arranged and offers excellent privacy. The location is convenient, with easy access to Shimei Bay and Shenzhou Peninsula by car.
