"Although the hotel has been open for over ten years, everything is very well maintained. Miss Demi at the front desk was warm and polite, offering early check-in and a room upgrade, and also arranged for a late check-out – much appreciated! Housekeeping was very responsive, the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the pool was great too. Overall, I'm very satisfied!"

"We took advantage of off-peak travel to visit Changzhou for a two-day, one-night trip with our child. The Wenpu Hotel has an amazing location – it's the first time I've ever encountered a hotel where the subway directly connects to an underground plaza, which then leads straight to the hotel's basement level. There were even staff members in the basement to guide us. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade to a dinosaur-themed kids' room! As soon as we walked in, we saw dinosaur plushies and a little play kitchen – our child was absolutely thrilled. It was also the first time we'd slept on a 2.4-meter king-size bed; previously, 1.8-meter beds felt a bit cramped with two adults and a child. Just for that, I think Wenpu really gets it. The room was clean, well-equipped, and thoughtful. They've done an excellent job with the parent-child aspects, and every staff member we met had an incredibly friendly attitude. Overall, the experience was perfect. There are museums, libraries, and other attractions nearby. We'll definitely stay at Wenpu again next time we're in Changzhou!"

"I was in Changzhou for a business trip and originally just picked a random hotel, but this Totoro Spirit Hotel completely won me over! The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful. Seeing me with my luggage, they immediately helped me with it and even proactively asked if I needed a late check-out. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and I slept really soundly. The next morning, when I checked out, the front desk even gave me a small souvenir, which was such a nice touch."

"This hotel isn't far from Changzhou North Station, about a 15-minute walk. You can even see the lake along the way. However, this distance can be quite tiring to walk with luggage in the scorching summer or freezing winter. I'd suggest the hotel consider providing a shuttle service that runs on a schedule. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with a laundry room and a gym, so the facilities are decent, although the sink in my room drained very slowly. Some of the staff were quite friendly, while others were rather indifferent. While I was waiting for a ride in the lobby, a restaurant supervisor proactively offered me hot tea. However, guests usually don't wait for long, so a cup of hot tea mostly goes to waste. Luckily, I had my own water bottle. In summer, it would be better to offer a small cup of cold or lukewarm beverage instead. Also, there's a fountain show at Xinlong Lake at night, but the hotel doesn't post the showtimes, so guests have to try their luck. Lastly, the hotel slippers felt quite flimsy and seemed heavily used."

"We brought our child to Changzhou Dinosaur Park and chose the Holiday Inn Express, a reliable chain. The hygiene and facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was good too. The hotel is just over a kilometer from Global Harbor. We even went there for New Year's Eve and then leisurely walked back to the hotel. Getting a taxi to Dinosaur Park the next day was also quite quick. It offers great value for money, and the front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting us. Definitely recommend it! ~~~~"
