"We stayed at this hotel for one night on August 10th. The Giraffe Manor Hotel is located in a bamboo forest. We booked a package deal on trip.com. We arrived at the hotel in the evening, and we were a little unlucky with the weather, as Typhoon Dolphin was in full swing, so we weren't able to fully appreciate the park and its children's activities. We booked a Distant Mountain Family Room. This room is on the first floor; it's better to book a room higher up—on the second or third floor—with a terrace for a view. The room, bed linens, and towels were clean. The room has everything for children, including a play tent, toys, a children's skincare set, and a giraffe-themed toothbrush. There's a bathtub by the window in the room itself. On the table was a plate of seasonal fruit, a capsule coffee machine, and coffee capsules. There was also a children's snowball fight set. The room had a slight, subtle odor, possibly due to the humid climate; we weren't sure what it was. But our main goal, of course, was breakfast with the giraffes. We arrived at the restaurant for breakfast at 6:30 a.m. We recommend arriving at that time to get a table by the window; the giraffes are released at 7:00 a.m., which is when they're hungry. Carrots are sold starting at 7:00 a.m. A bag of carrots costs 30 yuan. We bought 15 bags of carrots in total, as feeding the giraffes is a joy not only for children but also for adults. The giraffes are very well-groomed and cute. They have beautiful eyes with eyelashes. We definitely recommend coming here with children. The breakfasts themselves are delicious, buffet-style, and offer both Chinese and European cuisine. They also have delicious ice cream. We also had dinner at this restaurant. The portions are very large; one dish is easily enough for two. Our package included champagne, but you need a separate paper coupon for it. Please confirm this with reception if your package includes champagne. We weren't given a voucher right away; we had to write to reception during dinner. The issue was quickly resolved. We communicated with the hotel staff through a translator throughout. Upon checkout, our daughter was given a stuffed giraffe. We definitely recommend this experience for families with children and not only for kids: breakfast with the giraffes will be a memorable experience for everyone. We will definitely recommend this experience to our friends and everybody."

"The hotel, which opened in 2024, boasts a lovely environment at its 5th-floor 'Play Beer & Food Social' sky garden restaurant. The breakfast chicken noodle soup and coffee received high praise. The rooftop infinity pool with a waterslide is perfect for families with children. It's also conveniently located, just a 10-minute drive from Huzhou High-Speed Rail Station. During my stay, I frequently encountered foreign guests and family tour groups from international schools, which indicates the hotel's strong brand appeal and upscale target demographic. Precisely because of this, the subsequent drop in service quality was even more unacceptable. — However, the experience on the evening of August 1st was nothing short of a disaster — At 8 PM that night, a restaurant cart was left in the guest elevator. It was still there at 11 PM. For three hours, no one noticed, no one dealt with it. For a Marriott-affiliated hotel, the inspection and monitoring of guest elevators were completely ineffective. What's even more concerning is – if it wasn't a cart in the elevator, but a suspicious item, what would three hours of surveillance vacuum imply? I went downstairs to report it to the front desk. Two duty staff members accompanied me to see it. As a result, a delivery robot entered the elevator first and got stuck in front of the cart, making it impossible to remove the cart. The situation was already ridiculous at this point. But what I found even more unacceptable was: Ms. Shen, the Customer Care Manager present, watched the elevator doors close without further coordination, and without even asking, ”Sir, do you need to take the elevator upstairs?” I stood right there, pressed the up button myself, and waited for the next elevator myself. ”Customer Care Manager” – the very existence of this position is the hotel's commitment to guest experience. But her performance that night made this commitment a joke. Back in my room, I searched everywhere but couldn't find any complaint channel – no customer service phone number prompt, no QR code entry, nothing in the service guide. A guest at 11:45 PM, wanting to complain but with no avenue to do so. Isn't this itself the biggest irony of the hotel's complaint management? Individually, none of these incidents are major. But when these three things are stacked together – failed facility inspection, frontline service dereliction, and a lack of complaint channels – this isn't an isolated error; it's a systemic failure at the management execution level. The next day, I printed out my complaint letter and submitted it to the front desk. Mr. Sun Dawei, the General Manager, proactively added me on WeChat the same day, admitting that ”management and training were not in place.” He stated that he had gathered the team for training and promised to incorporate the suggestion letter into their training. His attitude was sincere and he didn't shirk responsibility. But I must be clear: the General Manager's good attitude does not negate the dereliction of duty by the frontline team that night. The standard of a hotel is not determined by the General Manager's office, but by the decisions made at that moment when a guest encounters a cart in the elevator, seeks help at the front desk, or wants to complain in their room. — A Few Suggestions — 1. Establish a regular inspection and monitoring room linkage mechanism for guest elevators to eliminate safety blind spots like ”three hours unnoticed.” 2. For frontline staff, especially those in the Customer Care Manager role, please review the training standards – ”accompanying to take a look” is not service; ”providing solutions” is service. 3. Please ensure complaint feedback channels are standard in guest rooms, so that guests can find an avenue when needed, rather than having to sit in their room writing a letter in the middle of the night."

"This is our third time booking the Dragon Dream Ancient Town Hotel, and it continues to exceed our expectations! The hotel has a grand Chinese style, the rooms are spacious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The balcony offers an expansive view; we booked a scenic room and enjoyed watching the ancient town's night view in the evening, and even the fireworks show from bed – a perfect experience. The penguin exhibit in the lobby is still a favorite with the kids and is quite unique. The underground passage leads directly to the performing arts complex, making it incredibly convenient to explore the ancient town and see shows without being exposed to the elements or having to take a detour. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Parking is free for those driving, and it's very convenient for visiting the Grand Circus and the Animal World. It's suitable for both family trips and romantic getaways. We will definitely choose this place again next time!"

Step outside and you're in the lively hustle and bustle; close the door and you're in a tranquil private garden. The room retains its traditional Chinese charm while still being very comfortable, with picturesque views from the window. What's most heartwarming is the butler-style service, from hand-drawn maps to the sweet soup delivered to the room every night, everything exudes a comforting 'welcome home' feeling. A bowl of authentic lamb noodles in the morning, and tea in the courtyard in the afternoon – this is truly the best way to experience Nanxun."

"This hotel was the perfect choice for catching a concert at the nearby Olympic Sports Center. Stepping downstairs, you're right in Wuyue Plaza, and the hotel lobby connects directly to the mall, so there's no need to worry about food, shopping, or entertainment. It's also just a 10-minute walk to the Olympic Sports Center Stadium. The only drawback was that the glass shower partition leaked into the toilet area; I recommend they fix this as soon as possible."

"This hotel boasts excellent facilities and a superb location, offering stunning panoramic city views of the twin towers landmark from its floor-to-ceiling windows. You get a full view of Huzhou city. Right downstairs, there's a park for a leisurely stroll, and a Yintai City mall for shopping. It's also super convenient to get to Yishang Street and the local specialty eateries. Parking is free in the underground garage directly beneath the mall. For a tranquil morning, the ancient Tiefo Temple, dating back a thousand years, is just a ten-minute walk away. It's all about comfort, relaxation, and a slow-paced getaway here."

"The newly opened marginal hotel in 2026, although the location is not in the city center, but it is not far from Huzhou East Station, it is very convenient to take a taxi, and the surrounding environment is quiet. The hotel is very new, the room is not small, the facilities are complete, the breakfast is not luxurious, but it is not bad, the front desk lady and staff are very polite. Some decoration tastes of the newly opened hotel are inevitable, but it is not very heavy."

"Excellent value for money! The room was upgraded to a lake view room, especially the one near the elevator which was very spacious. I have to commend the bathrobes; it's the first time I've encountered one with a double-layered fleece lining! For my family's birthday, they sent a birthday cake. When I asked for it to be delivered to the room around 10 PM, the housekeeping staff even specially sent someone to light the candles! We went to the hot springs in the evening. It was still a bit too hot for the weather, but from the rose spring furthest inside, you could get a great view of the hotel lights. Initially, I didn't plan to go to the outdoor swimming pool because I thought it would be too hot during the day, but by noon, it was actually shaded. The design caters to all kinds of people. I want to give a big shout-out to the hotel staff. No matter where you encounter them, even if guests aren't paying attention, they'll wave and say hello!"
