"The room was spacious, perfect for two adults and a child, and they even arranged an extra bed for us in advance. The outdoor balcony was quite comfortable, and they provided complimentary snacks. Out of the four hotels we stayed at during our UK trip, this was the only one that didn't require a deposit. Highly recommend!"

"This is a very unique hostel, converted from a large house. The entrance looks just like a private residence, and the interior design is quite special. You can easily walk around York from here, making it excellent value for money. My only minor complaints are that the upper bunk beds don't have charging sockets or curtains, which can be a bit inconvenient, but for the price, I can accept it. The lower bunks are much better. I met some lovely French friends here. It's a great choice for backpackers in York."
