"While it is an older property, it is exceptionally clean and perfectly located for a relaxing getaway. It sits far from the city noise, right in the heart of nature, featuring a stunning beachfront infinity pool. Island hopping tours are incredibly easy to access from here. The staff are wonderful, and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends!"

"After arriving at Langkawi Airport, it only took about ten minutes to drive to the hotel, which was much closer than I expected. I was initially worried that being so close to the airport would mean noise, but I slept soundly every night and wasn't bothered by planes at all. The lobby is spacious and grand. There are two restaurants, Chinese and Western, located next to each other. The Western restaurant offers excellent sea views, and the Chinese restaurant has a wide variety of dishes. There are two swimming pools, and my kids loved them so much they spent half the day just splashing around. The hotel also has a private beach with fine, white sand that's very comfortable to walk on barefoot. The seawater is clear, and you can see small shells during low tide. The rooms are in two-story buildings, with four units per building, offering plenty of space and all the necessary amenities. If you need a buggy to get around the resort, you just call, and they respond quickly; the car arrives in about 5 minutes. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, perfect for families with children."

"We travel with 2 kids and that's why I chose De Baron Resort because it has a water play facility. In overall the stay is pleasant. Room is comfortable and hot bath and water pressure have no issue. There are plenty of choices for the breakfast. The things that can be improved is the hygiene of the breakfast area: there are birds flying around the tables and they will eat the leftover foods."

"This is an excellent, slightly secluded hotel with its own large beach area, located at the end of a long sand spit. It boasts a gorgeous green territory and a huge pool with 4 sections, including one that's 2.5m deep. Breakfasts are decent, but there's not much meat – only chicken ham and sausages. Plenty of fruits are available, but they're simple ones like watermelon, melon, apples, and pineapple. There was some minor noise disturbance from a construction site next to the hotel. The rooms and furniture are a bit old but functional. The furniture is worn out. Across from the hotel is the fantastic Cactus cafe, where everything is delicious, from barracuda to spaghetti bolognese."

The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The breakfast was simple but satisfactory, offering enough variety to start the day. "A truly cozy, home-away-from-home hotel! The location is superb, with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and a night market nearby! There's also convenient parking for your car! The hotel staff are incredibly sweet, helpful, beautiful, smiley, and pleasant!!! A huge thank you to them for a wonderful stay!!! They know all the guests and their preferences!!! For breakfast, they even showed live broadcasts of FIFA 2026, which added a special touch to the mornings!!! The breakfasts are diverse (and I have something to compare it to, as we stayed in a 5-star hotel on Langkawi where the breakfasts were much worse than in this modest hotel). Hot waffles and pastries, delicious coffee, plenty of meat, vegetables, and fruits. The room is small but convenient and cozy! It has everything you need and even more – free snacks and chips :)) Extremely convenient location! Conclusion: I highly recommend it, because if I ever return to the island, it will only be to this hotel."
