"The biggest advantages of this hotel are its convenience and sense of security. The location is truly excellent, very close to the jetty for island hopping tours in the morning – you can just walk there, no need for a taxi. Downstairs, there are plenty of options for food, shopping, and coffee, including 7-Eleven and various restaurants, so you don't have to walk far when you return at night. When traveling with family, we prioritize safety and hygiene, and this hotel met our expectations very well. The accommodation areas inside the hotel are quiet, and the management is well-regulated. Both the rooms and public areas are very clean. There's always someone at the front desk, so you can communicate whenever you need to, and it's convenient to speak in Chinese. Since Semporna is mainly about island hopping every day, the hotel's location, safety, and hygiene are particularly important. We were very satisfied with all these aspects; we felt secure staying here and had peace of mind with our travel arrangements. Next time we visit Semporna, this will be our top choice again. Full marks, highly recommended!"

"I arrived in Tawau at 3 PM, but the airport didn't allow overnight stays, so I had to head to Semporna three hours earlier. Coincidentally, the front desk staff that day didn't speak Chinese or English, so we communicated using a translation app. It went smoothly; they allowed us to rest in the lobby and use the public restrooms. They were really kind and friendly throughout. After daybreak, we left our luggage there and went island hopping. We checked in upon our return in the evening. The cleanliness was good, and I didn't find any mosquitoes. My only minor regret was not having a place to hang my washed clothes, but thankfully, summer clothes dry quickly. The location is great, with plenty of food and drink options downstairs, including restaurants and supermarkets. Overall, for the price, I was very satisfied. If I go back, I'd definitely consider staying here again. I forgot to take photos of the hotel, so I'll just use my island hopping pictures instead."

"If I had a choice, I wouldn't stay here again. This is the first time I've encountered such a long wait for check-out, even with a deposit. Those who paid with credit cards also had to wait. Check-in and check-out were all mixed together... the management is just too chaotic. Plus, the gym had an extremely strong, pungent plastic smell, making it impossible to use. The downstairs restaurant was absolutely terrible. The only good thing was that the room's cleanliness wasn't bad, after all, it's a 5-star hotel, and its location is superb."

"The room was quite clean, and all the toiletries were well-stocked, including mineral water, toothbrushes, and a hairdryer. Many other hotels or guesthouses here don't offer these amenities. What really stood out was the abundance of hangers in the room, about twenty of them. We never had to worry about running out of hangers, even for all the clothes we washed daily. The best part was the swimming pool; it was incredibly clean and rarely crowded. Perhaps people were too tired from playing in the sea to go to the pool. We practically had the pool to ourselves every evening, which was fantastic. Another plus was the breakfast. While it's not quite up to par with boutique hotels back home, it's a great convenience for guests who need to catch an early ferry. Having food readily available downstairs was a lifesaver. And that tea they served every day – I don't know what it was, but it was delicious!"

"The location was great, nearby fish markets and restaurants and easy to get back from snorkeling trips. Door access with Password to get back to the lobby especially the beggars or the outsiders can't come in. Table and chairs for eating but never clean up the room for the following stay.."

"The environment is great, and everyone agreed it's the best hotel we've stayed in. I loved how convenient it was to get everywhere; the seafood market is just a four-minute walk away. I'd definitely want to stay here again in the future. Highly recommended!"

"I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp 3 days before check-in, and they replied very quickly. They even called me back, and the communication was very smooth. The boat departs from the jetty at 1:30 PM, but when we arrived at 12:30 PM, the boat was already waiting. Someone helped us with our luggage when we boarded. Later, we found out they weren't hotel staff, so we tipped each of them RM5. The hotel's check-out time is 10 AM, and the latest guests can leave by boat is 11 AM because the boat cannot sail after low tide. So, no late check-outs are possible. On the way there, it was high tide, and the boat sailed over shallow waters. The 'jelly sea' was absolutely stunning. My initial apprehension instantly turned into pure delight – it was so worth it! We were 6 adults and 3 children. We originally booked one triple fan room and one quintuple fan room. Because I didn't want a corner room, and the quintuple room was in the westernmost corner, and since there weren't many guests during the off-peak season (we practically had the place to ourselves, which was a pleasant surprise!), the hotel generously gave us an additional triple room and upgraded all our rooms to air-conditioned ones. Another great surprise! Actually, the sea breeze was strong, and opening the window with a fan was already very comfortable, so we didn't really need the air conditioning. In fact, after snorkeling, we found it too cold in the room, so we promptly turned off the AC. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations. The quintuple room was newer, while the two triple rooms were smaller and older. However, the sea view was so beautiful, and given the great value for money, these minor issues were acceptable. The hotel owner was also very accommodating and gave us keys to a few rooms, letting us choose which ones we wanted. Since the quintuple room was on the western side, the sunset views were spectacular. My friends even saw sea turtles twice from their room at night. After watching the sunrise, we walked to the easternmost part of the hotel. There's a bridge there that's perfect for photos, and we kept seeing sea turtles, which was such an amazing surprise! We saw about 7-8 sea turtles intermittently, and they were huge! It might have been the start of low tide, and they were all swimming towards the deep sea. This must be a common path for them, and it was the biggest highlight of our trip. The hotel has Wi-Fi and accepts TNG for payment. The round-trip boat ticket costs RM100, and children ride for free. Life jackets are RM5, and swimming rings are RM10 (no time limit). The hotel's snorkeling masks were broken and unavailable for rent, so it's best to bring your own. The sea has lots of corals, starfish, and fish, making it excellent for snorkeling. Bring extra bread to feed the fish. The hotel doesn't provide bottled water or hair dryers, but there's hot water and tea bags. Dinner was local Malay food, which might not suit everyone's palate, but we found it quite good, and the fish was cooked tenderly. The simple breakfast included delicious fried rice noodles. We also brought some chocolates and instant cereal/drink mixes to prepare with the hotel's hot water. There's also free karaoke and Lami mahjong, though they can only be used until 11 PM. The karaoke is a new facility, only 4 months old, and the sound system is excellent. The Lami mahjong set was brand new. In summary: Although the hotel is a bit old, the sea is incredibly beautiful, and we even saw sea turtles. For the price, it offers great value. Overall, I highly recommend it."

"This was my second stay at the hotel. It's in town, so not too out of the way. There's a KFC not far from here. Overall, there's nothing really wrong with it. Before I came, I'd already checked online reviews, and hotels in Semporna town are generally pretty standard unless you opt for a really high-end one. So, there wasn't much to see at the hotel itself, which is why I didn't take many pictures there. I've just shared some photos from my boat trip for everyone to enjoy."

"I thought this hotel was great. Room would be a bit small for two but was great for one. Bed was comfy and good shower, everything was clean and location for island trips and restaurants was great. Nice staff recommended a really good value shared minivan taxi to an early morning flight for me saved me a lot of money. Semporna itself is a bit of a dump and crowded with Chinese tourists in February (Chinese new year). No laundry as far as I know"

"Great location! It's right behind a gas station, and the entrance faces away from it, so my friend and I circled around a few times before realizing it was right behind us. The room was huge, honestly the best hotel we stayed at in Semporna, and also the cheapest. The only downside is that it only has stairs. The front desk is staffed 24/7. We had an early flight and needed to leave for the airport around 4:30 AM, but the front desk staff was there to process our deposit refund when we woke them up. It's located near this church."
