"A good, clean hotel for a transit overnight stay, not far from the airport. Perfect for a shower and a good night's sleep. We had a non-smoking room. The beds were very comfortable. The room had everything we needed, including bathrobes. The location is excellent, with many late-night supermarkets nearby. They have a 24-hour front desk and wonderful, friendly staff."

Its location is fantastic right opposite soul waqif with easy access to the souq and so close to west bay, the Cornish and three close mosque to visit and pray at. One of the best hotels in Doha. Would never want to stay in another hotel while in Doha. Close to everything and so much facilities in around the hotel They go above and beyond they surprised us with so many beautiful things to celebrate our occasion. The check in was super fast and easy. We didn’t want to leave when our stay was over. It feels like a home from home. You get super warm and happy feeling being at the hotel. Hotel smells wonderful each time you enter the hotel and walk around. Also it offers many resturant options from Mexican, sea food to variety of world foods You stay at Alwadi will truly be magical"

"The hotel was very nice, but I ended up with a dark room overlooking a neighboring building's wall. There were loud parties every night, but I actually enjoyed that. The breakfast seemed to have a wide selection, but everything was bland and of poor quality. The chef must be from South India :-)"

"Hotel located about 15 mins drive from the airport. Checked in about 2300 hours after a long flight for 1 day layover. Check in was simple and quick. Room was located on the 2nd floor. Room is spacious with a king size bed. TV with appropriate channels, lots of charging points. My view was obstructed by another building so didn’t get much light. There’s tea and coffee making machine. The AC works. The bathroom comes with a bath tub. Only amenities I got was toothbrush set and a soap. Hairdryer in the bathroom. The bed was a little hard but slept ok. Outside the hotel is the underground train station. So very convenient to explore the city."

"The hotel room was a bit dated, but the service was decent. I had to wait until 10:30 AM for a room to become available before I could check in. Maybe it was because the price was cheap. I booked without meals, so I can't comment on the breakfast."

"Lovely hotel, nice large rooms and excellent breakfast. The only downside is that they are strict with the 15:00 check in time. We arrived around 13:30 but an earlier check in was not possible."

"Overall, the rooms are clean and spacious. I was completely unimpressed with the room service; the dishes looked nothing like the pictures and I didn't even finish my meal. The staff seemed willing to help, but the male members didn't really get involved in the process. However, when I approached the night staff with a problem, they were very helpful. "The hotel's location is excellent. From the airport, take the Red Line metro, then transfer to the Gold Line and get off at Waqif station. Take Exit 2, but instead of going through the glass door into Souq Waqif, head towards the elevator for Souq Al Najada. The hotel's main entrance is right outside this elevator. Perhaps because the main entrance isn't easy for parking, Google Maps tends to direct you to the road at the back entrance. The hotel lobby and restaurant look quite grand. The rooms feel a bit dated but are still spacious and clean. It's very quiet at night, and the breakfast is good. There are plenty of restaurants in Souq Waqif itself. Housekeeping took a bit longer than expected, but the staff were very friendly. A big thank you to Obada and Khalid for cleaning our room. Overall, it offers great value for money."

"What a pleasant surprise! I finally got to witness the sunrise 🌅, a wish I've long held. The food at the overwater restaurant, especially the appetizers and bread 🍞, was delightful. The hotel service was truly excellent! Despite a minor hiccup, I was very satisfied with my first stay. I took so many beautiful photos that I'm already considering coming back with my family. "
