"I spent a night in this hotel between two flights. It was very easy to access, and the customer service was excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to leave it early for my flight! The staff is quick and takes good care of you. I didn't get a chance to try the breakfast because I left too early. A minor drawback: a small reminder to book the shuttle would have been appreciated. I couldn't use the service because it was full. It's not a big deal, though."

"I’m honestly lost for words when it comes to the service provided by the staff at DoubleTree by Hilton Doha Old Town. They went above and beyond anything I expected and as tourists travelling for our honeymoon, they truly left a lasting impression on our experience. Every member of staff was warm, welcoming and genuinely kind. The way they approached and spoke to guests made us feel valued and at home. They may not realise it but those small interactions make such a big difference to someone’s stay and create memories that last long after the trip is over. I’d also like to give a special mention to the gentleman at reception who checked us in. Unfortunately, I can’t remember his name but he was incredibly kind and welcoming. We mentioned that we were visiting Doha for our honeymoon, and the following day, when we returned to our room, we found it beautifully decorated. It was such a thoughtful and heartfelt surprise, and that small gesture meant so much to us. "The hotel's location in the historical center is excellent, with major attractions like Souq Waqif, the National Museum of Qatar, the Museum of Islamic Art, and the Corniche promenade all nearby. Souq Waqif metro station is also close by. There's a supermarket on the next street, but for a good Carrefour supermarket, you'll need to take the metro. The hotel itself is a bit dated but clean. It has a rooftop pool and a few clubs within the building. I stayed on the 6th floor and wasn't disturbed by the clubs at all. A downside to the hotel is the poor soundproofing from the door; everything happening in the hallway can be heard in the room. Overall, for its price, it's not a bad option."

"The room was a bit worn out and had a cigarette smell, even though it was a non-smoking room. The staff were responsive, and breakfast was good. The heated pool with jacuzzi was a plus. Parking is available."

I wanted to see the ATP tournament during my travels and had originally planned to book a Hilton property in West Bay, but the prices went up. To stay within budget, I chose this hotel, and it far exceeded my expectations. 1. **Great Value for Money:** It was very affordable compared to similar hotels. We landed around 6 AM and arrived at the hotel before 8 AM. The official check-in time was 2 PM, and I said it was fine, I just wanted to leave my luggage. However, the front desk saw I had a child with me and that there was an available room, so they checked me in early and even upgraded us to a twin suite. 2. **Excellent Room:** The room was fantastic, with two bathrooms. The suite was clean, tidy, and very cozy. The only minor issue was that it seemed to be connected to the next room by a door. One night, there was a group playing cards next door, and it was a bit noisy, but it didn't affect our sleep since the noise was in the living room area. 3. **Delicious Breakfast:** Even during Ramadan, their breakfast was very rich and satisfying every morning. There were even staff members making latte art coffees. Ordering takeout was incredibly convenient; delivery drivers would leave food at the front desk downstairs, making it easy to pick up. 4. **Gym and Sports Facilities:** The gym was small but perfectly formed, and since no one else was there, my child and I had a very comfortable workout. Downstairs is the Doha Sports Center, which has a large football stadium where people play matches every night. You can watch the Doha Super League for free! 😊 5. **Timely Amenities:** Toiletries, tea, and coffee supplies were always provided promptly. 6. **Stunning Rooftop Pool:** There's a rooftop pool with distant views of the Corniche, especially beautiful at sunset. Plus, there's a restaurant on the top floor with good food and reasonable prices."
