The hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. It’s very convenient for getting around, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and attractions nearby. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hotel also provides all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful whenever I needed assistance. I really appreciated their hospitality and great service. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. The central location makes it a great choice for both sightseeing and business trips. Everything you need is within easy reach, and getting around the city is very convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

This hotel's service and environment definitely exceed 5 stars. Aside from waiting a while for the elevators, there's really nothing else to complain about. I have to say, this is probably the most satisfying hotel we've ever stayed in. The smart room was clean and spacious, with a large TV and basically everything you could need. The bedding, pillows, and sheets were all very comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep every day. The hotel also offers self-service laundry and drying, and after washing, the staff even helped us take the clothes out to dry. They also provide breakfast, afternoon tea, and supper daily. Breakfast is served until 12 pm, and there's a wide variety of food options. The hotel is located right at Beijing Road Pedestrian Street, and Big Buddha Temple is visible right outside the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient. There's also a small supermarket downstairs and many restaurants nearby. Ultimately, we extended our stay by two more nights. We even changed our subsequent travel plans just to stay two extra nights. Every day, we were touched by their thoughtful small gestures. I remember one day I bought yogurt back, and the next day I took the room card out when leaving, cutting off the power. When the cleaning lady serviced the room, she even inserted the card to turn on the power and the air conditioning, so the room was always cool when we returned to the hotel. It was really hot in the summer. Thank you to every staff member at Sino Select for your dedication. It was a pleasure to meet you all. You are truly wonderful! See you next time!

Stayed at CityNote Hotel on Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and really enjoyed the experience. The location is hard to beat — you’re steps from the Beijing Lu metro station and can walk straight out into the pedestrian street with its shops, food stalls, and nightlife. Pearl River and several of the city’s historic sites (Nanyue King’s Palace Museum, Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall) are all within easy reach on foot or a short ride. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good work desk, air conditioning, and a well-equipped bathroom — everything you need for a business or leisure stay. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout the property, which mattered a lot for keeping up with work while traveling. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful with local recommendations. For the price point, this is genuinely great value given how central it is — you can walk to nearly everything in old Guangzhou without needing a taxi. Would happily stay here again on a future trip.

The owner is very nice - very chatty and easy to talk to. My luggage was crazy heavy and he helped me with it and loaded it onto the didi for me as well, which I really appreciate! Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of the accommodation because I was sooo busy and tired~ The area is 20 min to 体育西路 which I love going to because there's a whole basement of anime and donghua merch you can get from there! Plenty to eat too. Breakfast was simple but good and to my liking. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed showering there! The heated toilet bowls really make a difference. They have cats in the lobby as well. There is only one washer and dryer in the lobby that you can only use from breakfast time onwards so travellers who intend to wash and dry your clothes there do take note~ I was there past midnight and the young guy at the reception kind of mixed up my room, and didn't tell me about breakfast either 🥲 so I only had breakfast on the last day of my stay hahaha! Anyways on the first day I was in Changsha for a day trip, and I was notified that they would have to shift my stuff to my new room because there was a mistake in the room type, which was fine by me! But the housekeeper kind of just threw all my stuff into my luggage without any care so my clean clothes and dirty airplane clothes were mixed together with my used undergarments and my books were bent :( my dresses were also still in the wardrobe in the previous room and they didn't bring it to my new room so I had to wear a dress that I haven't washed the next day 😅 but I didn't want to make a fuss since I came back to the hotel from Changsha at about 2am and understood that the owner can't possibly wake the occupants in the room to retrieve my clothes. Also the next morning the housekeeper was pretty nice so there's that! In conclusion I will still choose this accommodation when I'm back in GZ as its value for money, really clean and has chill vibes, and near 广州东站~ Way better than the other place I stayed at (M*m**nt Hotel hahahah)

This time, we celebrated our anniversary by staying in an Executive Room at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, and the overall experience was excellent. As soon as we got out of the car, the bellboy promptly came over to help with our luggage, and then we checked in directly at the Executive Lounge. It was very efficient, and we didn't have to wait in line at the main lobby. The hotel had thoughtfully prepared a card and a cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a very nice touch. What left the deepest impression was the service. No matter where we were in the hotel, every staff member we encountered greeted us kindly, making us feel right at home. I'd especially like to commend Nicolo from the Executive Lounge, Oriental Club. From the moment we checked in, he was incredibly welcoming. Every time we visited the Executive Lounge, he remembered our names and always chatted with us pleasantly, with a smile on his face. His service was professional and friendly, adding many wonderful memories to our trip. Additionally, Yamy and Silvia, who handled our check-out at the Executive Lounge, proactively asked if we wanted to pack some drinks and also gave us a refrigerator magnet. The only thing that needs improvement is the late check-out policy. The front desk initially told me that it depended on availability and was generally not possible, and in the end, they could only extend it until 2 PM. Considering that hotels of a similar caliber usually offer more flexible late check-out options, I hope the hotel will actively consider extending the late check-out time.

Nice location, very close to Beijing pedestrian street with a lot of cafes, shops and authentic restaurants. Hotel is clean and personnel is very friendly and helpful, but almost doesn’t speak English.  Breakfast is tasteless, I was start thinking that I have COVID 🤣🤣 even ham is not salty, spicy, sweet or doesn’t have any other taste.. almost all food on breakfast tastes like paper

The overall service experience was excellent. After booking, I was quickly contacted by the front desk, and the staff were incredibly patient in answering all my questions from the moment we arrived until we checked in. The room layout is perfect for families or friends traveling together, featuring two large beds and a spacious sofa that my child particularly loved and chose to sleep on. The hotel breakfast offers great value for money at just 20 RMB per person. The dishes were well-suited for children's tastes. We had three adults and two children; one child was free, and the other was half-price, making the overall cost very reasonable. From our room, we could even see the upper part of the Canton Tower, which delighted the children. The location is also superb. After breakfast, we could walk to the Guangzhou Library, Museum, Children's Palace, and Guangzhou Opera House, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. They also gave us two Canton Tower souvenirs, which made the kids very happy! ❤️

I extended my stay for another night. There are so many convenient dining and shopping options nearby. Anyway, I forgot my room card, and customer service quickly helped me out. They just verified my name and opened the door for me, otherwise, I would have been stuck outside. I'm not sure if the room extension wasn't properly recorded, but around 10 AM, the cleaning staff knocked and entered without waiting for my response. I wasn't fully dressed and quickly grabbed a bathrobe to cover myself. It really goes to show that I should have deadbolted the door from the inside.

This is a classic hotel in the heart of Guangzhou, and its location is really good. The exterior also looks quite grand. The rooms are spacious, and the views from them are very nice. You can also go up to the 63rd floor for an even better view. Breakfast was decent, but it was a shame that during my three-day stay, the noodle station only had a chef on the last morning. I found the front desk service quite subpar. I waited in line for ages, and several male receptionists kept ignoring me or shunting me to a different queue. They were busy chatting casually with the guests in front of them and didn't bother calling the next person. They spent half an hour on pointless conversation, and it felt like it would never end. I was so annoyed waiting that they finally called out a female receptionist from the back to help me with my room card. Also, in the lobby, we were dragging our luggage around, and no staff member came over to offer assistance. Overall, I felt there was hardly any service. There's no self-service laundry room, which I think is a significant drawback. Since there are no room service robots, I had to go up and down to collect my food orders every time, which was a real hassle. The room hygiene was good, but I find it incredibly stingy for a five-star hotel to charge for a tiny bit of coke and other items in the minibar. Many hotels now offer complimentary minibars. To sum it up: excellent location, outdated facilities, and a poor service experience.

The environment here is consistently excellent, and the location is superb. It's right near the subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to Tianhuan, Tianhe Sports Center, and Guangzhou East Railway Station. The rooms are very spacious and clean. I particularly love spending my Guangzhou weekends here. I was on a non-smoking floor, so the air was fresh with no strange odors. The sheets were clearly fresh and clean; I'm quite picky and sensitive about beds, but I've slept here so many times and it's always been great.
