MM342721****I specifically booked this hotel to celebrate my partner's birthday. After picking me up from the airport, we rushed straight here.
I had contacted Trip.com beforehand to ask them to let the hotel know it was for a birthday celebration and if they could prepare a surprise. The hotel readily agreed and promised to have the room decorated by 2 PM.
Upon checking in and entering the room, I was indeed pleasantly surprised! Besides the swans folded from towels, there was also a beautiful bouquet of roses (a whole bouquet, not just a single stem, which was lovely). The petals scattered on the swans were real flowers, and there was a very generous welcome fruit platter (seriously so much fruit!). I was quite satisfied with this. (It would have been even better if they had prepared a small cake on the actual birthday to fit the theme even more!)
The room was very clean, and the facilities were quite comprehensive. The in-room delivery service offered a wide variety of items, even 'rare' ones like nail clippers and power strips, which was great. The complimentary beer was also a pleasant surprise; I heard each room gets a random type, like opening a blind box, which was fun. The one we got had excellent foam and tasted great!
The gym, although not large, was adequate in terms of space and equipment. The laundry room had three washing machines and three dryers. There's also a small bar on the first floor of the hotel, though I didn't try it. The decor and ambiance are very thoughtfully designed, creating a great atmosphere and utilizing space effectively.
Now for the shortcomings. The front desk staff didn't offer any birthday wishes to my partner during check-in, nor did they introduce the hotel's facilities. They just quickly handed over the room card and that was it, which could be improved. There was a lot of dust on the shelf where the towels were placed in the room; it should have been wiped clean. When washing clothes in the laundry room, the staff member who helped put them in for cleaning didn't label them properly, and the promised delivery back to the room was not fulfilled... When I requested a power strip through in-room delivery, I was called and told they were out of stock due to limited supply, but then they forgot to deliver another item I had requested, and it never arrived, even by check-out time. While eating breakfast, I showed a black spot on a milk glass to an attendant. She didn't explain or apologize, just took it away. After taking it, she then turned around and asked for my room number to register breakfast.
Overall, the good outweighs the bad. The cleanliness and ambiance are strong points, and it's clear they want to provide good service. However, if they choose to prioritize service, they should refine it even further. I hope they can improve even more.

GGuest UserWhile I didn't get around to taking specific photos of the room, it was exactly as pictured: spacious, bright, and comprised of several rooms, akin to a full suite in other hotels. The air conditioning was powerful – in the summer, after a day out, I'd just flop onto the sofa and not want to budge, haha. The room also featured an open-concept kitchen, which was perfect for ordering in food and drinks in the evening, allowing friends to gather around the dining table for a relaxed chat. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would definitely book here again if I need accommodation in the future.

The service from DM ZW was incredibly thoughtful; they were so patient and meticulous throughout the entire check-in process, accommodating every request with such warmth. And the hotel environment? GGuest UserOverall, it was excellent. The hotel has a sophisticated feel with brand-new decor, and the experience was great. The attention to detail in their hotel products is truly commendable. The soundproofing was also generally good; unlike other hotels where you can hear the toilet flush next door, there were no such noise issues, which I appreciated. However, there's one small point of criticism, which might be a necessary design choice for the hotel. We found two locked doors in our room with handles, seemingly connecting to the adjacent room. At night, while sleeping, we heard someone twisting the doorknob and knocking from the room next door, which disturbed us. It's quite bizarre, and honestly, this door created a flaw in the soundproofing. It was a frustrating and unacceptable discovery after checking into a Four Seasons hotel. Is this design mandatory? Is it for safety? It's hard to understand. Nevertheless, I'm still willing to give it a 5-star rating; everything else was impeccable.

KKTOur family of 8, including four seniors, absolutely loved this hotel. It's within walking distance to Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and the Museum of the Nanyue King, with Dim Sum restaurants and a McDonald's right next door. The hotel is very new and clean, with incredibly comfortable beds and excellent facilities (gym, laundry room, and smart AI assistant 'Xiao Nuo' in the rooms). They also thoughtfully provide a delicious and extensive breakfast from 7 am to 12 pm, with an unbeatable view of Canton Tower from the 41st floor while you eat. There's also an exquisite afternoon tea (2 pm-5 pm) and late-night supper (8 pm-12 am), featuring comforting congee and soy milk, plus a 24-hour coffee machine. In the evenings, it even has a bar-like ambiance – we loved it! We also adored the fragrant toiletries, especially the shampoo and conditioner, which left our hair feeling so soft. The front desk staff and cleaning ladies were all incredibly thoughtful, enthusiastic, and friendly, making us feel so happy and cared for ☺️❤️.
On Christmas Eve, the day we checked in, the hotel even thoughtfully prepared a Christmas gift box for us ❤️🥳🎄.
We really appreciate the hotel's 'light luxury' style, and how it perfectly caters to the needs of guests across all age groups – it's fantastic! ❤️ We've already recommended it to friends and relatives visiting Guangzhou next year 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟.

LLufengliujinThe service at Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou really pays attention to detail. For example, if you request a bathrobe, they'll place it in a pass-through cabinet. The staff puts it in from the outside, and guests retrieve it from the inside, ensuring zero contact throughout the process, which avoids any inconvenience or awkwardness. The room's soundproofing and blackout curtains are excellent, leading to a very comfortable sleep. Even though it was crowded on the weekend, everything was well-organized. The complimentary birthday cake was delicious (it was definitely made with care), and the breakfast pastries were also very good. All the fruit was freshly cut, and the pastries were freshly steamed – truly excellent.

QQitiandazhugagagaThis hotel had been on my favorites list for a while, and I finally got to stay there during my trip to Guangzhou. I booked it with a very good value coupon package from Trip.com. The first night's room was a bit disappointing; the bathroom didn't have a glass partition, and the water pressure was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold – a double whammy! My child was freezing after showering. The next day, I immediately spoke with the front desk manager (forgot to ask his name), and with his help, we were moved to a room with a partition. He was incredibly helpful and even upgraded us to a junior suite! The rest of our stay was very comfortable. Plus, the hotel's location is excellent; it's close to everything. Highly recommend!

XxixiStaying at the Park Hyatt Guangzhou was a fantastic experience, largely thanks to our butler, Zero. He contacted us a day in advance and paid attention to every detail, making us feel truly valued. His professionalism and warmth made for an excellent stay! There was a minor hiccup with the A/C not heating properly, but it was resolved quickly. He even brought us red bean soup in the evening (next time, I'd suggest including an extra bowl!).

LLongxiansenszThe hotel is right above the subway station exit, making the location incredibly convenient. The lobby and restaurant are both on the 6th floor, and the laundry room is on the 12th floor.
The room size was decent, and the cleanliness was good. It even came with a disposable bathtub liner. The view was excellent, offering a partial view of the city's nightscape. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.
My only minor suggestion would be to improve the water pressure, as it was a bit low. A small improvement there would make it perfect.
