Hot Springs Hotels in Baoshan

Stayed at Zhuoya Hotel based on a strong recommendation from a friend, and I loved it even more than I expected! The lovely owner personally drove out to pick us up and took us to a fantastic, inexpensive BBQ rice noodle place near the ancient town. It was so good and affordable that we ordered delivery from there twice more over the next two days. Even though it was the rainy season, our room wasn't damp at all. The owner thoughtfully provided an electric blanket and a dehumidifier. Every evening, they'd kindly remind us to turn on the electric blanket to warm up the quilt before bed. Everyone at the hotel was incredibly welcoming, the breakfast was well-balanced and nutritious, and they made a really delicious iced Americano. The dedicated laundry area upstairs was super convenient, and right next to it, there was an air hockey table and a swing that the kids absolutely adored. There were also plenty of books – it was lovely to sit and read with a coffee, listening to the rain on a rainy day. The owner has five adorable cats, each one more beautiful than the last!

The view from the B&B is amazing. It's so enjoyable to just lie in bed or sit on the sofa and gaze at Wild Duck Lake. The hot springs are real hot spring water too. I had a few allergic reactions on my first night, but I slept so soundly that night. I absolutely loved the private hot spring bath on the large terrace. On my first night, I soaked in the hot springs, drank plum wine from the small restaurant downstairs, listened to music, admired the beautiful view of Wild Duck Lake, and watched the clouds drift across the sky. ⛅️ It felt like life was worth it. On our last night, the helpful manager remotely filled the hot springs. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily. I couldn't let the water go to waste, so I suddenly had the idea of ​​soaking in the hot springs under an umbrella. ♨️ What an unforgettable experience. When I checked out today, the handsome front desk guy drove me to my hotel downtown. His service was so thoughtful and deserves a five-star rating. Shanghai was 40 degrees Celsius, but Tengchong was only 18 today—such cool weather. Tengchong is perfect for a lazy person like me to just relax. See you next time.

We had a truly wonderful stay! The hotel is very upscale overall, and the rooms are exceptionally spacious with a modern, stylish decor and layout. The amenities are complete, making it very comfortable to stay in. Special mention goes to the heated towel rack—it’s so practical, showing how thoughtful the hotel is with many of the little details. The service was fantastic too! I must commend staff members 013, 014, 020, and 022 for their wonderful attitudes. They were warm, patient, and made us feel very welcome. The housekeeping staff over the past few days were also extremely thorough, keeping the room spotless every single time. Truly amazing! Also, the complimentary fruit platter was delicious—haha, such a delightful little surprise! All in all, we were thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of this stay: great environment, excellent facilities, and top-notch service. This is a hotel you'd definitely want to return to. I'll definitely be back given the chance, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Tengchong. The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat. The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions. Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

The location is fantastic, very close to all the city attractions, and it's super convenient for taxis and food delivery. Since it's located inside a villa complex, it's also very quiet at night. We came with elders and kids and booked a family room on the ground floor with a yard. We could sunbathe in the yard in the afternoon, and there was even a osmanthus tree that was still blooming in December – it smelled amazing! The owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering recommendations for attractions and dining spots, and even paying attention to the kids' needs, which was really great. On our departure day, our flight was quite early, and we were worried about missing breakfast. The owner specifically asked the cook to prepare breakfast earlier for us so we could have a hot meal before heading to the airport. We couldn't book a hot spring room this time, but we'll definitely try it on our next visit!

We attended a friend's wedding in Dehong during the New Year's holiday and stopped in Tengchong for one night on our way back. We also had our dog with us, so we wanted to find a pet-friendly hotel. The Yunhai Hotel had great reviews; the second and third floors offered expansive views, the environment was tranquil, and there was a large lawn downstairs – perfect for families with pets! The owner and receptionists were incredibly welcoming and friendly, providing beds and treats for our furry friends and even offering to look after our dog. So, if you're visiting Tengchong, I highly recommend this hotel; it will definitely be a great experience.

This hotel was the best one I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Yunnan. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly at home. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff immediately offered me hot flower tea. They thoughtfully informed me about the rooftop hot spring's opening hours and enthusiastically recommended local delicacies. They even brought the afternoon tea, which we had missed, to our room, really showcasing the excellent service in Tengchong. After checking in, we went to the restaurant recommended by the front desk and then enjoyed the rooftop hot spring. The hot spring water was incredibly comfortable – my body doesn't lie! That night, I slept soundly and deeply, and my skin felt so smooth and improved. In the evening, the front desk sent up two bowls of tremella soup. Another heartwarming gesture! On the day of checkout, the front desk staff kindly asked if we had breakfast and even gave us a souvenir when we left. If my itinerary hadn't been pre-arranged, I would have definitely stayed an extra day in Tengchong just for this hotel.

The hotel has a great location, very close to the library. The rooms are spacious and clean, with separate areas. You can also soak in the hot spring at the hotel in the evening, which is a very pleasant experience. The breakfast is also good, and it's just a 3-minute walk from the ancient town.

I booked the Angsana Tengchong randomly, and it gave me a huge surprise! **Accommodation**: I stayed in a basic room type, which included a private hot spring and a balcony with a great view. (See pictures 1-4) **Food**: For dinner, I went to the hotel's Rice Restaurant, which claimed to be high-end. I thought, 'how high-end can it really be?' But dish after dish came out – shrimp, crab, beef short ribs, venison, mushrooms, and even insects! Even the dessert was ice cream with chopped Yunnan fruits. It was so rich and abundant, even a big Northern man like me was stuffed. The restaurant ambiance was also excellent, as I dined outdoors. (See picture 5) **Activities**: You absolutely must join the hotel's 10 AM hiking tour. There's a small stream nearby called Longxia Stream, and a teahouse called 'Bù Dù' (No Crossing). You'll wander through the woods, along the stream, and on the ridges. There are also activities like threshing grain, winnowing, and fishing. It's truly a refreshing experience. (See pictures 6-8) Later at night, when the lights dimmed, I managed to capture a starry sky from the hotel's stargazing platform. (See picture 9) **Hot Springs**: You absolutely, absolutely must visit the Angsana Hot Spring Village for a soak! They've built such a high-quality outdoor hot spring amidst the rainforest and by a stream – how can you resist that? Even though I've bathed in many hot springs like Lake Toya and Karuizawa, none of them felt as good as this Angsana hot spring. (See pictures 10-12)

It is an inn I like very much. It is backed by green mountains, green pines and green trees. It feels like living in a forest. I am very grateful to the boss for upgrading the room type. The hot spring water quality of the inn is super good! The transportation is convenient. The breakfast is very rich. The butler is very considerate. , the carefully planned itinerary is very fun, I will come again next time! Recommended. Recommended!
