I ate three different flavors for three days, and there are small surprises every day. Wild garlic cakes are a must-eat every day. There's a river trekking area not far from the hotel entrance, so afterward, we could return to the hotel and continue our trip with the kids to the hot springs, swim, and more. The hotel is located between Yixing and Liyang, in a slightly out-of-the-way location, but it's quite large and has a very nice environment. Guest rooms and the hot springs are in the same building, making it very convenient to get around. The dining area is on the first floor and the food is decent. The hotel also offers bamboo rafting, boating, cycling, and electric scooter rides. It wasn't crowded on weekdays, and the hot springs could be booked entirely. Our butler, Xiao Wei, provided excellent service and responded promptly.

To avoid the typhoon season and get back to Shanghai, I booked this hotel at the last minute. It's a 10-minute drive from my previous stop. It was pouring rain when I arrived, but the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room, saving me the inconvenience of moving between different floors in the downpour. The hotel is nestled against the mountains and beside the water, with beautiful scenery. The next day, when the weather cleared up, I was able to explore the surrounding area. Although they gave me a complimentary hot spring experience voucher, I didn't go due to the heavy rain and strong winds; I'll definitely come back another time. The hotel dinner was also good, saving me the trouble of going out to find food in the wind and rain.

Decided to squeeze in a trip before New Year's Day and chose the Yixing Bamboo Sea Suiyuan Valley Hot Spring Hotel. The private hot spring on the balcony is a nice touch, though it was quite cold in the dead of winter, and the tub size is really only suitable for one person! The Bamboo Sea Hot Spring next door was also quite comfortable for a soak. The room itself was very spacious and clean. We even got complimentary snacks and fruit upon check-in, and the staff always greeted us with a smile whenever we entered or left the hotel.
