The Chongqing Jingangbei OLD VILLGAE SPA HOTEL is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Chongqing Jingangbei OLD VILLGAE SPA HOTEL is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Chongqing. The hotel is conveniently located just 6km from Beibei Railway Station and 35km from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport. Seeing Chongqing's sights from this hotel is easy with Jingangbei Ancient Village, International Leisure Hot Spring Resort and Wentang Gorge Scenic Area all close by. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Guests of this Chongqing hotel can make use of the parking facilities. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Let's start with the areas that need improvement, and there are quite a few. 1. The hotel doesn't have its own dedicated parking, and you have to pay for parking. That's fine, but the main issue is that if there's no exclusive parking, and they mention a butler service, the butler never contacted us to inform us about the parking location. Even a text message or other channel to inform us would have been helpful. 2. Only one bathrobe per person is provided; extra ones incur an additional charge. 3. The staff at the hot springs also had a poor attitude. Perhaps work is too stressful for them, as they didn't smile at all and seemed a bit impatient when asked questions. 4. The design of the sink in the room definitely has some bugs; the main door was difficult to open. 5. The included breakfast was very mediocre, with no milk or soy milk available. 6. I suggest offering some complimentary fruit upon arrival. 7. The hot spring water was too hot, practically impossible to soak in. All the pools were the same temperature, so we could only sit by the side and dip our legs. Now, for the positives: the front desk staff had a decent attitude, and the hotel's cleaning staff were also quite good."

Hotel near Jiefangbei Area/Hong Ya Dong,Chongqing
Chongqing Intercity Hotel, Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street Nestled in the heart of Jiefangbei Business District, Yuzhong District, Chongqing, the hotel is just steps from Exit 10B of Jiaochangkou Station on Metro Line 1, with a mere 5-minute walk to Jiefangbei. Housed in a standalone Roman-style building, it offers complimentary parking for in-house guests on the B1 and B2 levels. The 12th floor features a German-style restaurant and river-view meeting rooms, while a viral spiral staircase leads to the 13th floor, home to an infinity pool and a domed bar with sweeping views of Shibati and the night scenery of the two rivers. All guest rooms are fully smart-enabled and fitted with Sealy mattresses. Characterized by efficiency, intelligence and comfort, the hotel caters to both business and leisure travelers, delivering a convenient and warm stay experience.

"Staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in Chongqing's Jiefangbei was one of the most satisfying hotel experiences I've had; the overall experience was truly delightful. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, situated on Minquan Road, right next to a subway entrance. It's about a five-minute walk to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street and Bayi Food Street, and just over ten minutes to Hongyadong. It's perfect for both getting around and enjoying local food and drinks. What truly impressed me was the hotel's overall design and spatial planning. From the exterior to the lobby, everything exudes grandeur and a clear sense of quality. Upon entering the room, you immediately feel it's a meticulously crafted space – it combines the clean lines of modern design with the comfort needed for both business and leisure, avoiding the monotonous and rigid feel of traditional business hotels. The overall ambiance is very relaxing and aesthetically pleasing. The room layout and attention to detail were also spot-on. The wet and dry areas are well-separated, and the flow is clear and user-friendly. Although the window in our room wasn't particularly large, the ventilation was excellent, and the air felt fresh. Air fresheners were placed at every corner of the corridors, and the carpet was soft and clean. From the public areas to the room itself, you could feel the hotel's dedication to creating a pleasant environment. There were several design details I particularly liked: Next to the sofa, there was a round table, perfect for children doing homework or adults reading and working. The bedside tables on either side of the bed were artistic – one round, the other shaped like a water droplet – both stylish and practical. The tabletop material was excellent; spills wiped clean with ease. The water dispenser, mini-fridge, and coffee/tea setup were also thoughtfully arranged, giving off a five-star quality vibe. Additionally, the TV in the room was huge; my kids even said it was the biggest they'd ever seen in a hotel, making for a fantastic viewing experience – a pleasant surprise. Now, let's talk about the service experience, which was a huge plus for me. Upon check-in, a personal butler was assigned to me via WeChat to follow up throughout my stay. I must give a special shout-out to my butler, Peanut. Throughout my stay, she was incredibly proactive and meticulous, responding to almost every request immediately. Her communication was natural and comfortable, making me feel truly cared for and professional. This feeling of being genuinely looked after is rare and a significant reason why this hotel left such a deep impression on me. The hotel's dining options were also outstanding, and I have to highlight them. First, the breakfast buffet – I'd say it was one of the most satisfying parts of my stay. If 10 is a perfect score, I'd give it an unhesitating 10. The variety was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options. Salads and fruits are standard, but what made it even better was the freshly prepared Chinese breakfast items, like Chongqing noodles, which tasted authentic and were of high quality. It was a very enjoyable meal. From the food quality to the service, the overall standard was very high, with great attention to detail. It truly was so good that it's hard to describe it all (I also took pictures, which you can refer to). Additionally, the afternoon tea offered daily from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM was a major highlight. Cakes, fruits, salads, pastries, coffee, and milk were all available and exquisitely presented. In other hotels or cafes, afternoon tea of this quality would typically cost over 100 yuan, but here it's priced at only 58 yuan and given complimentary to guests. It truly shows sincerity and generosity. Another thoughtful detail was the bedtime milk service. Every evening, the butler would ask for a preferred time and deliver warm milk to the room, a small cup for each person. This attention to detail was perfect; after drinking it, I felt completely relaxed, and my sleep was more restful. This was a real bonus. Furthermore, the hotel's third floor features a well-equipped gym and laundry room, which was another pleasant surprise. The laundry room itself was spacious and well-organized, one of the best hotel laundry facilities I've ever experienced. Washing machines, dryers, sinks, and ironing boards were all available, and even details like laundry detergent and laundry bags were thoughtfully provided. The entire process, from washing and drying to organizing and storing clothes, had a clear flow, making it very convenient to use. These details demonstrate the hotel's dedication to functional guest experience (I also took photos, which you can refer to). It's also very kid-friendly. On the first floor, you can get free Haagen-Dazs ice cream and freshly made cotton candy, which made the kids incredibly happy. Moreover, the hotel's 12th floor boasts a terrace, pool, and observation area. In the evenings (6:30 PM - 9:30 PM), there are holiday-themed music events, creating a great atmosphere perfect for relaxation. Overall, this hotel excels in design, service, dining, and detailed guest experience. It was a truly delightful stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Chongqing and highly recommend it to everyone."

"Booked two rooms with no high expectations, just wanted to bring my family for a hot spring dip. Checked in on a rainy day, and the hotel's overall architectural style, ancient and elegant, exceeded what I'd imagined. The hotel is nestled on a walkway along the Jialing River, offering views of the Zhang Fei Trail on the cliffs across the bank. The Jialing River flows gently amidst lush greenery, a stark contrast to the terrain of the Jiangnan hills, showcasing a resilient and rich landscape. If you want to experience the geomorphology and vegetation of the Sichuan-Chongqing region, this place is truly unique. Now, about the hotel's service. We had a dedicated butler who was responsive and attentive. The staff at the Chinese restaurant, in particular, were exceptional, making us feel right at home and relaxed. You can enjoy the hot springs directly in your room, listening to the rain patter on the banana leaves. Even in winter, there's no need to fly to Kyoto to experience quality hot springs. The short video perfectly captured the vibrant energy of the people from Sichuan and Chongqing."

"The room was spacious, clean, quiet, and the bedding was excellent. The hotel service was also good. However, the hotel's layout is very peculiar and it's easy to get lost. You have to take different elevators to reach your room, and getting to the laundry room and restaurant is also extremely inconvenient. If you try to find them yourself, it's almost impossible. Even catching a taxi was a hassle. The hotel's breakfast was quite poor, with not many options. Overall, the experience was not good, very inconvenient, and I wouldn't highly recommend this hotel."

"Went there for the outdoor pool. It was clean and best of all mostly empty. It is located on the fifth floor rooftop. There’s no real place to sunbathe, but they do have a lot of patio seating. They also have the gym nearby and an area for laundry, lockers and showers. There was a lovely check in attendant who spoke English and went above and beyond every time we needed help. She helped hook up my laptop to the television so we could watch movies. So grateful! The rooms were clean and everything still looks well maintained and new. It was a great place for a staycation in Chongqing. Just a few things to note: the mini fridge in the room doesn’t chill things at all. There are four free drinks included (soft drinks, juice). There was a small fruit bowl, but we didn’t eat anything. The breakfast has limited western options, but of course we expected that since this is a Chinese hotel. Eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal. That’s it. They do have Chinese breakfast options, but didn’t try them. We didn’t try the dining options available at the hotel so can’t comment. Overall, it was a great place to stay. I would recommend it as a nice, clean and new hotel for visitors coming to CQ and staying in the Palm Springs area."
