"This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient location, within walking distance of Hongyadong and Jiefangbei, essentially placing you right in the CBD. The night views from the room are stunning. The room comes equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, and microwave, and the washing machine even has a drying function, which is super handy for families, especially in the summer. Room service is excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy. I'd highly recommend it for both leisure and business trips. The value for money is outstanding. "Upon my first arrival in Chongqing, I stayed at berkins Hotel, located inside the Chaotianmen Center building. If you’re checking in for the first time, take the elevator to the 30th floor. When you get out, make a left and continue past a few doors until you see the large LED Perkins sign. Don’t get confused by the first reception desk you see—that belongs to the Cia Hotel. One thing I really appreciated was that the staff allowed me to check in at 7:00 a.m. after my flight. I was exhausted, so being able to get into my room early made a huge difference. The first thing that impressed me was the incredible view. The hotel sits high above the city, and the skyline is beautiful during the day, but it’s even more impressive at night when all the city lights come on. The room itself is on the smaller side, but it’s modern, very clean, and the bed is extremely comfortable. The room also has a smart voice assistant, similar to Alexa. You can use it to open or close the curtains, turn all the lights on or off, and play music. It takes a little time to learn the commands, but it’s a fun feature that makes the room feel very modern. For around $40, I thought it was a great experience, especially for a first visit to Chongqing. That said, next time I’d probably book one of their $20 rooms since I don’t spend much time in the hotel anyway. The view in this room was amazing, but I think the cheaper option would suit my travel style just fine. The staff all spoke English and were very friendly and helpful. There’s also a washer and dryer available on the 40th floor. Just ask the front desk for the access code, and they’ll happily give it to you. Overall, I highly recommend staying here if it’s your first time visiting Chongqing. It gives you an amazing first impression of the city with its futuristic atmosphere, beautiful skyline views, modern design, and excellent value for the price. I’d definitely stay here again."

Given the recent hot weather in Chongqing, the hotel thoughtfully provided an ice machine and ice water in the mini-fridge, which was incredibly considerate. The toiletries in the room were also well-stocked, including body lotion, shampoo, and shower gel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get anywhere, and the price is fair. "This is our third stay here since our child goes to school nearby. The hotel's basic facilities are still pretty good. This time we skipped breakfast, but I remember it being quite varied with some Chongqing specialty snacks. On our first day, they even sent up fruit and a tremella soup. The entire room was spotless, with even the corners meticulously cleaned, and there were no strange odors. The overall design is a sophisticated Bauhaus style, creating a fantastic ambiance. The in-room amenities are new, and the toiletries are of good quality. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, making the check-in and check-out process efficient. They even offered thoughtful tips for exploring the area. Despite being in a bustling area, it's surprisingly quiet. It's perfect whether you're traveling or staying for a short period. "Facilities: Excellent! This is by far the best hotel I've stayed in when it comes to central air conditioning – it cools down super fast and the fan is powerful. The room also had a washer-dryer combo, and all the other essential amenities were well-provided. Cleanliness: Standard clean, nothing more to say, it was good. Environment: My room was on the 12th floor this time, and it was very quiet all around. The soundproofing was also excellent, so I slept very soundly. Plus, popular spots like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong are incredibly close by. It's very convenient for transport, not far from the subway entrance. Service: Great, great, truly great! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit."

"I highly recommend this mid-to-high-end apartment hotel in Jiefangbei! The location is absolutely excellent, right in the heart of the Jiefangbei central business district. You can walk straight to the pedestrian street and Bayi Road Food Street, and it's very close to Hongyadong and the Yangtze River Cableway, making it super convenient for getting around, shopping, and finding food. The overall decor is chic and luxurious, with spacious and airy rooms and an exquisite layout. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer fantastic views of the mountain city's nightscape. The cleanliness is particularly impressive – the entire room was spotless and odor-free, the bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom had a wet/dry separation with quality fixtures. The apartment is fully equipped, giving it a real homey feel, and it's quiet, not noisy. The staff provide attentive and thoughtful service; check-in was efficient. When checking out, I mentioned I'd be down a bit later as my car was delayed, and the front desk said it wasn't peak season, so a late check-out was fine. That felt really considerate! They also enthusiastically explained sightseeing routes. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. My experience was five-star, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Chongqing!"

"The hotel signage isn't very clear. I understand they can't have a huge billboard, but at least a prominent standing sign would help. I spent an hour navigating right in front of the entrance trying to find it. The cleanliness wasn't great – there was dust on the TV, nightstands, and countertops. The room was spacious with two 1.3-meter beds. The curtains were automatic and opened with a sensor. There were four different lighting options by the bed. Honestly, for 175 RMB including a breakfast buffet, the value for money is exceptional. When I got to the room, besides half a pack of tissues and two bottles of water, there were no other toiletries, and I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. However, I am super, super, super satisfied with this price point for the room type. The surrounding area is full of large malls and restaurants, and it's super close to Guanyinqiao subway station. I didn't even have enough time to explore everything! You can also check out the famous large screen at Chongqing Tiandi. The area has everything you could want for food, drinks, entertainment – KTVs, cinemas, even a wet market, it's incredibly convenient. Plus, the subway is fast, frequent, and cheap. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again next time. For 206 RMB, you get two breakfast buffets; buying them individually costs 39 RMB per person. However, prices increase on weekends, which is standard for all hotels. Next time, I'll book the 206 RMB option with two breakfasts because there are 57 types of food – no, wait, with Chongqing noodles and Laoma Chaoshou, there are over 60! Anyway, whenever I go to Chongqing, I'll stay at this hotel because it's so close by subway to Jiefangbei, Shibati, Hongya Cave, Liziba, and also very close to the cable car and Chaotianmen Port. And the subway is super fast and frequent, so you don't have to wait long. When you're traveling, isn't convenient transportation the most important thing? I don't recommend taking taxis or buses as they are too slow and get stuck in traffic. It was a really great trip. I had a lot of fun."
