Langkawi Hotels with Infinity Pools

"Location, convenience, beach, ambiance, rooms, entertainment, dining – there's hardly anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, first, there are too few designated smoking areas! Second, the rooftop infinity pool is strictly for guests aged 18 and above, which feels quite unreasonable. Many guests come with their families, and it's not like you can just ditch your kids to go for a swim. This policy excludes many from enjoying the experience. For breakfast, try to go early and grab a seat near the water for a great experience. The hotel is situated on Cenang Beach, which has very fine sand. The water isn't crystal clear, but it's acceptable. The room's minibar offers a good variety of drinks, plus two small snack bags that are refilled daily by the staff. You absolutely MUST choose a sea-view room. We opted for the Premium Sea View, which had an L-shaped sofa on the balcony. I actually slept there one night, facing the ocean, under the moonlight, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves – it was absolutely wonderful. The room was also spacious enough, nearly 70 square meters, making it very comfortable for a family of three. The gym doesn't have a huge variety of equipment, but it's sufficient and open 24 hours. There are two pools: one for adults and one for all ages. Regarding food, the hotel has several restaurants, and there's also a beach BBQ with a fire dance show for 198 per person, which isn't expensive. It's also not far from Zhong Hua Seafood Restaurant and Hidden Bar, making dining very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Langkawi."

"A wonderful, compact hotel right by the sea. It's very quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the last room and didn't hear any neighbors at all, either they were quiet or the soundproofing is excellent. Hornbills occasionally flew into the grounds. There's a clean, beautiful pool, and the entire area is lush with greenery. The staff are unobtrusive, quietly going about their work and constantly tidying up the property. There are many duty-free shops and cafes near the hotel. Overall, the experience was overwhelmingly positive; it's a perfect hotel for a relaxing getaway."

"The location of this hotel is outstanding. It is right at the end of the beach, giving the feeling that the entire stretch of sand belongs to you. It is quiet, and ideal for relaxing, especially for families. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although the prices are on the expensive side for what is offered overall. Unfortunately, the hotel’s biggest weakness is its organisation and internal communication. Apparently different departments do not communicate well with one another. During check-in, there was a long queue at the reception despite five staff members being present, yet only two were actually assisting guests. As a result, we waited far longer than necessary. Only after I told them that they need to help each other out, did they start accelerating the check-in process. A more serious issue occurred on our third day when the safe box in our room ran out of battery. I informed reception and was told someone would come shortly. After waiting 30 minutes, I called again, then waited another 15 minutes, and finally had to go to reception for the third time. In total, nearly two hours of our holiday were wasted waiting for a simple battery replacement. The restaurant, however, was a clear exception. Mr Azizi deserves special mention for his professionalism and attentiveness. From the first day until the end of our stay, he regularly checked on us and genuinely tried to help. When I mentioned the safe box issue to him, he was the one who finally stepped in and made things happen. Thanks to his supervision, the restaurant ran smoothly and efficiently. BTW, it’s worth mentioning that breakfast is amazing, with a variety of delicacies. Sadly, the same cannot be said for the beach bar. Orders were frequently forgotten, even after payment. Waiting 30–40 minutes for drinks and then being told they were simply forgotten was frustrating and disappointing. Another sign of poor coordination was the bracelet policy. For the first two days, no one mentioned that guests were supposed to wear bracelets. From the third day onwards, security staff on the beach began checking and questioning us daily, which again points to a lack of communication at reception. The room itself was decent. Due to the humid climate, there was a slight smell, which is quite common in this region and something we also experienced in Thailand, so this was not a major issue. Overall, I can recommend this hotel for its excellent location and family-friendly atmosphere. However, considering the price and the ongoing organisational problems, I do not feel it offers good value for money. On a positive note, Grab makes it easy to get around, and the main hotspot area is only about 2-2.5 km away."

"This is what a five-star hotel should be like! First, let's talk about the exceptional service. From the moment I checked in, I could tell this hotel genuinely cares about its guests. You can even enjoy a complimentary mini-massage during check-in. Since there were three of us, the hotel proactively moved the sofa from the balcony into the bedroom to create a temporary bed for us. Secondly, while the breakfast restaurant is a bit small and the food variety isn't extensive, everything is exquisite. Being able to order and savor unique pancakes and flatbreads, especially the Roti, which is absolutely delicious 😋, was a highlight. And the pool? It's fantastic, long enough for a good swim without a problem! Now for a few things that differed from my expectations: the hotel's size. It's actually not that big, with a long, narrow layout. The private beach has excellent sand, far superior to Tanjung Rhu, but the view isn't as open because it's partially obstructed by Paradise 101 Island."

"We had a fantastic stay at The Westin Langkawi! The staff were warm, friendly, and always so attentive and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is spotless and beautifully maintained, with comfortable lounge chairs by the pool that are perfect for relaxing. The hotel backs right onto a stunning private beach, offering amazing views across the ocean. We even had some cute monkey visitors around the grounds (they are very friendly too), which made our stay even more memorable! The hotel is a bit further away from the popular tourist places like Pantai Cenang and the north of the island, but there is plenty of taxi service around and at very good rates. I would highly recommend The Westin for anyone visiting Langkawi."

"My experience at Bukit Resort Langkawi was truly amazing. I've visited many hotels and resorts in many countries, but this was a first for me!! 🥹🥰 All the staff, including Manager Wan, were so attentive and caring. It was as if Wan was always thinking about how to make the guests' stays a great experience. She provided detailed information on things to do in Langkawi, restaurants, and all the necessary information via WhatsApp, which was incredibly helpful during my trip. The accommodation was clean and spacious, making it comfortable to stay. The elevated location offered a beautiful view, and the pool was great for both adults and children. The breakfast was also good, and since it's a small resort, it wasn't crowded, so we were able to enjoy ourselves leisurely. The only real downside was the location, but we had no major inconveniences using Grab. The staff were so welcoming throughout our stay that we were almost sad to check out. 🥹🤗 We will definitely be back. Until then, Bukit Resort and all the staff, stay healthy! 💪👍🫶🩷"

"Our stay at MyRus was full of fun, convenience and friendly staff. Kids loved the pools, slides and water park! The views from the resort to rebak island in the west and the sunsets is spectacular! The staff are all friendly, polite and continuously working on keeping the place in great shape. Some wear and tear / maintenance required…. But to have the pool table, gym and kids room with such an amazing outlook was great. Location is exceptional.  The courtesy van down and up the hill makes accessing the main road easy. We would stay again."

"Exceeded expectations! I got to see adorable dusky leaf monkeys just chilling, and families of long-tailed macaques even came to visit our balcony. Beautiful, unknown large birds stretched lazily in the massive tree canopy. The hotel is hidden within a huge tropical rainforest, just like other luxury Southeast Asian hotels—quiet and secluded. The beach was practically deserted, and we had the stunning infinity pool all to ourselves. The room, breakfast, and service were all top-notch. The shuttle service was the fastest I've experienced at any hotel. The only slight disappointment was that the sea color here was quite ordinary, though it was very clean. If I had more time, I'd love to stay a few more days."

"We had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons. Traditional, oriental style of the Villa, just a few steps away from the long, private beach. Food was excellent, always fresh & local sourced. The staff and service marvelous, attentive and always with a smile. The spa and yoga class was a great experience, too. Perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. Highly recommended."
