"The stay was very pleasant and left a good impression. The location of the hotel is very convenient, the surrounding life is full of atmosphere, dining and walking are very pleasant.
The rooms are spacious and clean, warm and comfortable. The support of the mattress and pillows is just right, and it is rare to sleep overnight. The water pressure and hot water in the shower were also satisfactory, washing away the fatigue.

MM1s3n3ckn****This was my first time visiting Xuegu with my mom, and we stayed at this inn. The environment was great, with a strong Northeastern charm. The owners provided excellent service. The next day, when we went to Wusong Ridge to play in the snow, the owner accompanied us the whole time, taking photos and even teaching us how to ski for free. If we had gone on our own, hiring an instructor at the ski resort would have cost several hundred yuan. The owner was very patient and professional with the photos, allowing me to fully enjoy myself. There were also evening activities at the inn, where the owner would film a 'water splashing into ice' video for us for free, a service that costs money in Xuexiang. We even bought Wuchang rice from them. Overall, I highly recommend this inn for anyone visiting Xuegu. I've already recommended it to my family and friends.

CCeritalahWe stayed at Kuolanting Inn for two nights and had a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by three friendly women. Although language was sometimes a barrier, we always felt well taken care of. The hosts patiently used a translator whenever we needed anything, which made communication smooth and reassuring.
Mr. Gang was exceptional. Even before our arrival, he provided us with all the information we needed. He managed all our transportation—from Harbin to Snow Village and back to Harbin—and even arranged our transfers between Snow Village and Snow Town seamlessly. During our stay, he joined us in activities and recorded our moments using his 360° camera, which was such a thoughtful and special touch.
The lady who cooked for us was lovely, and every meal she prepared was absolutely delicious. We felt full, comfortable, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay.

The bathroom was well equipped with a smart toilet, which made the stay even more comfortable and convenient. As a Muslim guest, I truly appreciated that they prepared breakfast for us and ensured that it was halal, so there was nothing to worry about. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay, and I would highly recommend this place. They even helped us arrange transportation whenever needed..just ask, and they are happy to assist. Special thanks to Qiu Jie, who was always responsive and patient in answering our many questions via WeChat — her support made planning everything so much smoother. We’re also deeply grateful to the boss, Hongbo, for his warm hospitality and genuine care; it truly felt like staying with family rather than at a commercial accommodation.
Everyone we met — including the chef and our drivers — was extremely kind, friendly, and attentive. They were always ready to help with arrangements such as transportation and ticket bookings, and did so with great sincerity. We were also thoughtfully provided with frozen fruits, which was a lovely and refreshing treat after spending time outdoors in the cold.
The location is about a 2-hour drive from Snow Town, and we loved being away from the busy, crowded tourist area. The peaceful rural surroundings allowed us to experience local life at a slower pace, complemented by delicious farm-to-table home-cooked meals. The hosts even taught us how to do the hot water splash, which was a fun and memorable experience in the freezing winter weather. As a bonus, there’s also a cute little deer in the backyard, which added an unexpected and delightful touch to our stay.
They helped us book a visit to Gou Xiong Ling (¥400 per person, inclusive of transportation, entrance fee, and all rides). The snow activities — snowmobiling, snow tubing, snow drifting — were great fun, and we appreciated that photos and videos were taken and shared with us afterward.
In addition, they assisted with ticketing and arrangements for our visit to Snow Town, including crossing Yangcaoshan by horse-drawn sled, taking a snowmobile up the mountain, and then a jeep ride down (with the option to walk down as well). Transportation back from Snow Town was also smoothly arranged.
Overall, this stay offered not just comfort, but a truly warm, authentic, and thoughtfully curated experience. Highly recommended for travelers who value genuine hospitality, local experiences, and a peaceful alternative to the crowds of Snow Town.

The owner is very kind and took great care of us, even booking activities and arranging for someone to follow us and take photos. GGuest UserI chanced upon Yilaikezhan by chance after knowing the snow town was closed. So I searched for an alternative and after booking, the boss got in contact with me and helped me arranged transport to pick me up from airport to his place.
It was a scenic drive and the driver was great and very helpful. We were hungry and he stopped by for us to grab some food before heading to the guesthouse.
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the super friendly and hospitable host. The room is neat and tidy, comfortable bed with a heater that i realised by chance. Although we arrived late in Mar and most of the places, the snow has melted, but magically there are some really nice snow scenery for photo taking.
There is a really lovely river just infront of the guesthouse, where the view is really enchanting. The food served by the lady host is super delicious but it came it really huge portion that we felt bad not able to finish. We have small stomach to begin with.
The next day, the boss drove us into the mountain to see some really nice snow, at least knee height. Really beautiful and along the way, we saw cows. Stopped again for photo taking.
It was an enjoyable and unforgettable experience.
The stay, the food the hospitality is top notch!
This has been the highlight of our trip and would come here for another stay when we make another trip back to harbin.

GGuest UserWe booked a 6-day, 5-night trip to Xuegu (Snow Valley) this time, mainly because we come from a tropical country with only one season: summer. So, we wanted to give our kids the experience of winter and let them enjoy playing in the snow.
The warm hospitality from Uncle Tian and the proprietress made me feel right at home, even in a different country. The guesthouse felt like a big family where everyone could chat and snack on melon seeds together. The food at the guesthouse was delicious, and the prices were very fair.
After eating and exploring around, I still found Uncle Tian's food to be the best tasting 😋, and the prices were reasonable.
Friends from Malaysia 🇲🇾, you should definitely choose this place!

MM557831****The best decision I made on this trip to Northeast China was choosing Shengshi Jiayuan Homestay – it truly elevated my travel experience! The moment I stepped inside, the wonderfully warm *kang* (traditional heated bed) immediately won me over. With temperatures outside dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius, the *kang* kept me toasty from my toes to the back of my head. Sleeping on it at night was incredibly comfortable and peaceful, a hundred times better than an electric blanket – truly a 'rejuvenation magic weapon.' The floral bedding, the strings of corn hanging in the room, and the delicious Northeast farmhouse cuisine all contributed to an immersive, authentic Northeastern atmosphere.
The vibe at the guesthouse was fantastic, filled with laughter from beginning to end. The biggest surprise was that a local auntie accompanied us throughout our snow activities at Wusong Ridge. We tried snowmobiling and tubing, and not only did she patiently teach us how to play, but she also helped us take amazing, atmospheric photos – she was more attentive than a friend! Her personality was cheerful and warm; she chatted with us about daily life and shared local stories, which was incredibly engaging. Any loneliness I felt from traveling solo completely vanished – she truly delivered on emotional value!
During my stay here, the warm *kang* kept me cozy, and the auntie's warmth touched my heart. The authentic Northeastern flavors and the cheerful atmosphere made it hard to leave. Whether you want to experience Northeastern folk customs or have a blast in the snow, choosing this place is absolutely the right decision. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip to the Northeast!

It boasts a huge yard, perfect for building snowmen and having snowball fights – the atmosphere is just fantastic! The rooms are incredibly clean; the bedding is changed for every guest and smells fresh. The heated kang (brick bed) provides even warmth without being too dry. The homemade dishes here are authentic and delicious; the stewed chicken with mushrooms is tender and flavorful, and the pickled cabbage and pork hotpot is delightfully sour and appetizing. The owner was also thoughtful enough to arrange a shared ride to Xuexiang (Snow Town) for us and even helped book tickets for snowmobiling and the trek across Yangcao Mountain. We didn't have to worry about a thing throughout our trip – our visit to Snow Valley was completely stress-free!
