"The room is relatively clean, with a smart toilet, a big bed, an Internet TV, a shower room, a baseboard heater, and the room is warm and not dry even without air conditioning. The only drawback is that the bathroom is a bit small, especially the basin.
On the last day of my stay, there was a little water leakage under the basin, and the boss lady came to deal with it, but fortunately it didn't affect it much.
On the first day, we had a good time on the west slope and went down the mountain at about two o'clock. The boss lady recommended the forest park, which was pretty good.
The service was very enthusiastic."

"I was worried about not being able to get a taxi at night, so the hotel arranged a driver for us. Although we had to pay for it ourselves, it was great to have someone pick us up once we provided our flight details. Seeing that we were two adults and one child, they upgraded us to a triple room. The decor was nice, and it even had an 'Xiao Du' smart voice control system. The breakfast across the street was also delicious, offering good value for money. This is the closest hotel to Changbaishan West Station. Thumbs up!"

"Facilities: The hotel is actually quite good, apart from being a bit old. It must have been a really nice hotel back in the day. Too bad there's no laundry room.
Environment: Very spacious, and the rooms are large too. But it's very clean. The shower is quite comfortable.
Service: Everyone's service is very good, whether it's the front desk, the cleaning staff, or the gentleman who makes breakfast downstairs.
Unfortunately, after waiting two days, Changbai Mountain still didn't open."

"We stayed for two nights in a row. The environment was nice, with two beds, including a 2-meter double bed, which wasn't cramped for a family of three. It's very close to the West Slope Distribution Center, and parking is convenient. We went to see Tianchi Lake on the 4th, which was absolutely beautiful. There was also a concert on the 3rd and a fireworks show on the 4th. It's right next to Eurasia University, just a 3-minute walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. My eldest daughter was thrilled to see the stunning Tianchi Lake on her first visit to Changbai Mountain. They also included complimentary hot spring tickets, which were great. Soaking in the hot springs after a hike was very relaxing. I would recommend it to friends. The price was also very reasonable during the National Day holiday."

"Came back to this hotel again after 2 years. Very clean, comfy and just located in front of 1 of the ski track. Hotel staffs were friendly and provided good service. Hotel was equipped with washing machines & dryers which provided alot of convenience for us. The buffet breakfast was good as well. Although there is a distance to the center of the Resort & main ski center, but there were shuttle buses available every half an hour to fetch us to and fro. Highly recommended as the price is reasonable among the rest and value added is the hotel provided free ski experience & hotspring. We will definitely come back again."

"I was extremely satisfied with my stay! The hotel was clean and elegant, and the front desk staff were warm and professional, quickly processing my check-in and thoughtfully upgrading my room free of charge. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were complete and modern. "We checked in very late on the first day, and the guesthouse owner patiently waited for us to help us carry our luggage up to the second floor. They even upgraded our room for free and gave us complimentary drinks. They were also very helpful in resolving any issues that arose later, always with a great attitude. The landlady was very welcoming, chatted with us, and even gave me fireworks for photos – so thoughtful! The chartered car service was also excellent! It was truly a great experience; the room was spacious, had everything we needed, and was very quiet and comfortable. There were also plenty of restaurants and takeout options nearby."

QQingxiaoNGUThe room was spacious and very clean. The toiletries were all from well-known brands, which was reassuring, and they smelled great too. It's very close to the west slope of Changbai Mountain, and the courtyard-style design has a unique charm. They were incredibly accommodating with almost all our requests. On our last day, after coming down from the mountain, we booked a 4-hour day-use room to rest before our evening flight, and they let us stay for 6 hours without any extra charge. They even helped us arrange a free taxi to the airport.

There was a lingering renovation smell in the hotel corridors, but the room itself wasn't too bad, and opening the window helped air it out. A special thanks to the maintenance technician; the underfloor heating wasn't working, so he brought a portable heater and spent over an hour fixing the issue.

MM830348****The overall room size is quite suitable, at least for families with children, allowing ample space for luggage. I'd suggest placing a freestanding coat rack in the living room of the suites, especially during winter. Many guests are returning from skiing or playing in the snow, often wearing thick, long down jackets. If these jackets, which might have a bit of snow on them, are hung inside the bedroom closet, they won't air out properly and will stay damp. The living room offers plenty of space for a coat rack, which would be much more convenient.
**Cleanliness:** To be honest, the cleanliness was just average. Upon entering, I noticed hair on the light-colored sofa in the living room, which was quite visible. Since we were traveling as a family, the small bathroom to the left of the entrance was barely used. It wasn't until the second evening that I discovered a used, half-worn false eyelash from the previous guest still stuck to the sink. As this bathroom was rarely used, I didn't bother calling housekeeping; I simply disposed of it myself.
**Service:** When we needed anything replenished in the room, housekeeping was quite prompt, and their service attitude was excellent. On the day we checked out, it had snowed the night before, making the roads slippery. For safety reasons, the hotel shuttle couldn't pull up directly to the lobby entrance. A staff member from the lobby, dressed in rather thin clothing, still led everyone out towards the shuttle bus. I was moving slowly with my child and luggage, and this male staff member noticed, quickly came over to help us with our suitcases, and told me to take my child onto the bus first while he loaded the luggage. I'm very grateful for his help.
There's a shuttle bus service between all the hotels in the resort and the ski slopes, running every ten minutes or so. A staff member comes into the lobby to announce each shuttle, which is very convenient. We stayed in Block B, and while it wasn't a long walk, given the low temperatures, taking the shuttle was definitely more comfortable.

__WeChat57549****We brought our teenager for a skiing trip during the Christmas holidays, our first time at Changbaishan. We chose Wanda Changbaishan International Resort, and the snow quality here is fine and soft, with wide slopes that are suitable for beginners. The resort is built around the ski trails, making it perfect for an immersive skiing experience. If you're not specifically coming for skiing, you don't necessarily need to stay within the resort itself.
The resort facilities are comprehensive, offering everything from equipment rentals to professional coaches. However, you absolutely must book coaches in advance during the ski season (you can search for the 'Wanda Hotels & Resorts Travel Platform' mini-program on WeChat). We couldn't book a coach on-site for our two-day trip; it was extremely difficult to get a last-minute booking.
On the other side of the ski resort, there's a dining area with a rich selection, from light meals to full dinners, all at reasonable prices for a scenic area. Additionally, the resort has hot springs and an indoor playground, great for relaxing after skiing or for family activities. Since our teenager is older, we skipped these; they're more suited for younger children.
My personal opinion is that all the hotels within the resort are quite similar. Since they all include ski passes, there's no need to choose an expensive one. The hotels in Wanda are all a bit older and not very new. Also, most of your time will be spent skiing, so you won't be in the hotel much. Every hotel is within a 3-5 minute walk to the Wanda ski slopes, so just pick one that's a good price!
Overall, the skiing experience with the kids was very satisfying. The snow quality is excellent, and the services are complete. Just remember to book your coach in advance!

YYaoyaoailiulangThe moment you drive into the resort, it feels just like a charming Swiss town with its quaint little wooden chalets. But the best part is how incredibly convenient it is to ski in and ski out! The shuttle bus takes you directly to the ski equipment hall in just 3 minutes, and it runs so frequently – usually, you only have to wait a few minutes for the next one. The hotel's butler service is also excellent; they're always happy to help with anything you need. Very satisfied, indeed! 👍 The breakfast selection is quite varied, and the restaurants in the commercial street are reasonably priced and have good food. If you want to eat out, most of the nearby restaurants listed online offer pick-up and drop-off services, and every dish I tried was delicious. Overall, a five-star rating!

GGuest UserI chose Wanda Resort Hotel specifically for a family trip with my kids, aiming for a hassle-free vacation. The resort offers comprehensive services and amenities, with a wide variety of activities. Booking one room includes seven services, such as transportation shuttle, skiing, water park access, hot springs, and other water activities.
However, there are a few personal experiences I'd like to share.
First, the Wanda shuttle from the high-speed rail station is very convenient. Wanda Resort is a vast mountainside area, and the Park Hyatt is located a bit inside the entrance, which also means it's relatively further from the hot springs. While there are free shuttle buses every hour and half-hour from the hotel entrance, they can get very crowded and are often not punctual. You have to wait at the entrance on the dot; if you miss it, you either wait for the next half-hour or try to flag down a ride yourself. You might be able to use ride-hailing apps in Changbaishan Station's Erdaobaihe area, but they're almost useless here. Taxis don't use meters; they all charge a flat rate of 10 yuan, and most places are only about 2 kilometers apart.
The Park Hyatt's facilities are a bit dated, though the cleanliness is decent. But because of the hot springs, the bathroom in the room is hardly used. The pillows in the room are too high, not at all friendly for children or people with cervical spine issues. Many hotels offer a combination of a fluffy high pillow and a flat one; I hope this can be improved.
Hotel benefits also require you to check in first to claim them, and you need to do it yourself on your phone. This might be a bit complicated for seniors traveling with children. Every time you go to an activity, you have to open the mini-program to find and redeem your benefits. In this freezing cold, minus 30-degree weather, you really don't want to take out your phone because it can easily run out of battery and become slow. I hope the resort can improve this by using room cards, quoting phone numbers, or issuing wristbands as identifiers, because a dead phone in winter is practically equivalent to being 'stranded' outside.
Liu, the hotel manager, was proactive in providing information to guests and answered all questions, offering excellent service. Although we encountered two minor incidents during our stay, like the TV in our room having been unplugged by the previous guest – when our child couldn't turn it on and we called the front desk, the housekeeping staff helped us resolve it. Another incident was when I had just gotten into the water at 11 PM, and housekeeping urgently rang my doorbell, only to find out they had mistakenly delivered a quilt to the wrong room.
The hotel breakfast was quite ordinary. Perhaps it was due to the peak season during the winter break, but my experience wasn't great – too many people and no particularly impressive dishes.
Finally, the hotel's airport shuttle bus doesn't depart on the hour, but rather at times scheduled according to the day's flights, usually three hours in advance. Since the hotel is only 30 minutes from the airport, I misjudged the time and missed the bus, ending up taking a taxi for 60 yuan. If you really can't flag down a taxi, you can ask the hotel front desk to call one for you, but they'll charge more than if you negotiate yourself – 80 yuan, which the front desk staff kindly informed me.

GGuest UserThis was, without a doubt, the best hotel of our trip. I feel like if you're visiting Changbaishan, this is the only place to stay.
1. **Attentive Butler Service**: Our butler was incredibly thoughtful. They'd send daily updates on the Changbaishan scenic area, promptly inform us about opening statuses, and even helped confirm the bus station departure points after asking about our travel time.
2. **Fantastic Location**: The hotel's location is superb. If you bring your own skis, you can simply change into your ski boots in your room and easily head straight to the slopes. The various runs on the slopes are a good length, and the snow quality is excellent.
3. **Endless Amenities**: There are so many perks! For instance, the water park has wave sessions lasting 30 minutes each, which the kids absolutely loved. The 'propeller' ride was 100 RMB for unlimited use. The 'Big Horn' slide had hardly any queues, so we could ride it endlessly. There's even a water slide similar to the 'Water Cube' that surprisingly had no one on it, so we rode it to our heart's content. At Hanasan Hot Springs, there are both indoor and outdoor pools; the outdoor area had at least three pools, but I'm sensitive to the cold, so I didn't explore too much. Indoors, there's a sauna and two large pools, plus some smaller ones. There's also billiards, table tennis, and an incredibly diverse buffet restaurant. The hotel itself also has a pool and sauna, so if you don't want to go to crowded places, everything you need is right here.
4. **Convenient Transportation**: They offer free shuttle buses within the resort complex, as well as airport and high-speed rail station transfers. Super convenient!
5. **Great Local Food**: There are many excellent restaurants nearby. I highly recommend 'Kaoshantun'; the owner is incredibly nice and even provides pick-up and drop-off service within the resort.

GGuest UserThis stay has officially landed on my ski trip favorites list! The suite layout was fantastic – a spacious and bright living room paired with a cozy and comfortable bedroom. There was plenty of room for all our luggage and ski gear, so we never felt cramped, making our multi-day stay feel just like home. The hotel's location is unbeatable; it’s just a few minutes' walk to the ski slopes. After a day of skiing, coming back to a hot shower and relaxing on the sofa was pure bliss. Plus, the nearby commercial street, restaurants, and convenience stores meant we had everything we needed for dining, entertainment, and shopping right at our fingertips – incredibly convenient. A special shout-out to our housekeeper, Top, who was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Every day, they checked if we needed anything and proactively sent us important reminders.

We recently took our two kids to Park Hyatt Changbaishan, and were warmly welcomed right from check-in – the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to a main building room with an extra bed, understanding our family's needs, which saved us a lot of hassle!
The outdoor balcony of our suite was a hidden gem, offering incredible views. We watched the sunrise over the snowy mountains with clouds rolling in, and during the day, we could see people skiing on the slopes – truly immersing us in the snowy atmosphere. The hotel amenities were also very convenient; we could rent ski equipment right downstairs at the snow house, and there was even a mini Bognar counter to browse. Being so close to the ski resort was a huge plus.
However, there were a few minor issues. The direct ski-out slope was better suited for beginner snowboarders. As dual-boarders, we had to walk down to the mountain base, and then trudge back in heavy ski boots after skiing, adding an extra 30 minutes of 'cardio workout' – which really detracted from the experience.
The outdoor hot springs were definitely a lifesaver in winter, but our slippers kept getting lost. Walking barefoot on the freezing ground was quite unpleasant! Calling for service also took a long time to get a response, which was disappointing. The room facilities also showed some 'signs of age.' The iron screw on the wooden door next to the bathtub was rusted and detached. When we reported it to housekeeping, we were simply told to 'leave it as is.' The sharp corners of the table by the sofa in the living room led to our child accidentally scratching their leg. Staff only symbolically put on corner protectors after the incident, showing a lack of attention to detail.
The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and many dishes had to be ordered à la carte. This could affect dining efficiency, especially when rushing to get the kids to ski early.
Overall, the hotel's location and basic services are commendable, but there's significant room for improvement in terms of facility maintenance and detailed service. We hope for a better experience next time.

Sshaney yeo jun xinA truly unique and memorable experience staying at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt very well taken care of. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely accommodating, which made our stay extremely comfortable and stress-free.
A special mention goes to the receptionist H, who was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. As we did not have the local apps in China, she kindly assisted us with ordering taxis and food delivery, always with patience and a warm attitude. Her help made a huge difference and we truly appreciated her care and attentiveness.
We would also like to specially thank 陆陆, who helped us arrange everything related to skiing. From organizing ski clothing rentals to coordinating transportation to the ski resort just a few minutes away, everything was handled very smoothly and professionally.
